Hi, just to let you guys know, I’m a third party that got a txt from their team claims handler and manager called Martin. He promised to deal with my claim. He said I needed to send images and or report for the damage to my vehicle before arranging a replacement. The company dealing with it sent the report this afternoon until I spoke to Martin got my call redirected to him. He has decided to call me everything under the sun from inducing a claim to calling the lovely company that helped me to recover my car a fraudulent business by saying “I know everything about them”. How dare he!!!!!! I am no car engineer, I am not a claims handler and I didn’t know freeway allow their team or handlers to speak to people like that! When I asked for his full name and details and who his superiors were, surprise surprise he decided to cut me off and decided not to answer. Please be aware of company’s being biased towards their employees and they will always take their word against yours. Well the good news is I have my calls recorded on my expensive Phone so let’s see what the financial ombudsmen have to say about this. Never allow a third party company to speak to you and defame your character like that, especially when certain small businesses are helping consumers like us to be safe through this horrible pandemic. Freeway insurance should never employ people to speak to us like this. This is a disgrace to their company and should investigate internally . You will be hearing from my solicitors in due course and I will update you guys On the outcome.

I bought private hire insurance from acorn insurance company for my old PHV, about 6 weeks ago. I explained to acorn that I will be changing my car as I was buying a brand new one in a month or two, just waiting on delivery. I didn’t want to lose out on a month or so of earned no claims bonus. They said it’s no problem you can swap vehicles over. As you can guess they didn’t excuse was that the car cost too much. My friend a fellow driver gave me Freeways details, not gonna lie when I saw the quote I thought it was third party. I had to call give them car details again check the reg and the price of the vehicle. The customer service ladies were so nice they didn’t laugh it me. The price was the price. I phoned all my mates Freeway is the way forward. They beat Inshur & Zego. Haven wouldn’t even insure me. Great service.
