Oct 09,2024Took about 6 weeks to deliver. Driver wanted to dump a bedroom cupboard in the lounge. He insisted delivery instructions are on the website (I would have paid extra at the time of purchase if I’d realised) instead had to give driver £20 cash. He then roughly carried it upstairs. I only realised it was damaged when my partner came home and helped me get the cardboard off. Cardboard full of dust all over my house

Sep 28,2024Visted the showroom to check what they had and found some pieces that I liked that would fit in nicely. The prices and quality seemed to be reasonable so made an order for some cupboard units and drawers. Came within 2-3 weeks and happy with the choice i made and help from the staff.

The only down side was the lack of communication from both the company itself and the courier, as to when the item would be delivered. I had to chase the company to find out, and wasn't updated and then one day it just turned up. Luckily I happened to be at home.

Sep 04,2024Very comfy sofas that we had seen elsewhere and tried out for size. Local distributor couldn't or wouldn't match Furniture Direct's price but did offer free delivery, free removal of old sofas and longer warranty plus packaging removal, so it was a very close call as to where we purchased. FD were able to deliver quicker than initially anticipated but that meant very short notice, literally a couple of days, which made a mad dash getting guys in to remove the old sofas in time. Delivered carefully to the room of choice but wouldn't take all the packaging so had to then make a run to the recycling centre. Cannot fault the pricing but in retrospect would have been much easier to use local trader even if a few pounds more.

Aug 30,2024Contacted yourselves re delivery.Was told that you would contact me to sort out delivery dates. Got a text late on Tuesday saying it was being delivered on Wed morning, not even by your company, I was hundreds of miles away at the time working. Absolute shambles.

Supplier messed up delivery date so our order was delayed but Furniture Direct UK couldn’t have been kinder about resolving the situation. Rushed our order over the next PM after it had been delivered to them 2 days late. Thank you so very much for going the extra several miles for us! Went out of their way to get the delivery into our house safely which was far from easy. Extremely courteous and helpful throughout. Will review again once packing opened up but until this point, service has been excellent.

Oct 24,2023Absolutely diabolical service. Stated ready assembled which is why we bought the wardrobes as myself and wife are both disabled. The doors were separate and parts from one of the wardrobes were missing, the supplier insisted they’d been sent out twice, we didn’t receive them. We’d to get someone in to unpack them and take away all the packaging and put the doors on. He them had to come back when the parts did arrive to put the other doors on. One side of the wardrobe is bowed. When we asked the company to pick them up and take them back and give us a full refund, they said they couldn’t do it as they were large pieces of furniture. They offered £50 compensation which does not cover the cost we’ve had to pay to get them sorted. 6 weeks of nothing but aggro

Sep 26,2023We ordered wiemann sliding door wardrobes from furniture direct and were advised 6-8 weeks till delivery. Approx 6 weeks later we received a phone call to say the wardrobes had arrived and they were delivered promptly! We had 35 parts to these wardrobes and only one had slight damage from transit. The delivery men were excellent, passing all items through a ground floor window to us. Got in touch with Ajaz and he promptly ordered a replacement for the damaged item (same sort of timescale again, to be expected as the wardrobes come from germany!) The wardrobes were easy to construct and far cheaper than local. All in all a great buy! THANKYOU! Chris Storer.

Oct 12,2024Forget the Multi shop franchises, that churn out the same things, and charge you a fortune to deliver it. Great sofa, at a fantastic price. Excellent service, communication and delivered as promised, for FREE. I can't recommend highly enough
