I’d give them no stars if I could. Call from one person who was to follow up with client. His colleague rang me next day with no information about me so how could he “sell” me to anyone? Apparent that second person had no idea what job entailed. This is a scam. I’m concerned what they do with information. No trust
Extremely able assistance throughout from Aaron
I was pleased with the service provided by Ralph Watts who acted professionally. Thanks g2.
Recruiter Alex was extremely unprofessional and made a conscious effort to undermine any statement i made
Very patronising I haven’t even had my first interview and they cancelled 2 interview sessions with me. I missed one call and they said we were waiting for you what where you doing? They didn't even apologise. They respond by stating they have a lot of intrest so i should call back asap. I am not under their employment and they are already behaving like this? . Not the type of behaviour i expect from a recruiter.
Around 2022 September/October, I applied for this job as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. I have always wanted to do recruitment, many of my family members are in recruitment and I have good knowledge of the job role. G2 Recruitment reached out after I applied and I had a brief call with standard interview questions. The woman that called me was extremely nice and friendly. However, I soon found out that she was just a recruitment consultant. Now working for a really well established recruitment agency, this is really poor. A recruitment consultant should not be interviewing for the same role as her, this should be someone in the management team. I did get a face to face interview… well, I call it that. It was slave labour. I went in and had an in depth chat with the manager. He was quite passive aggressive and came across like I was wasting his time. He was rushing my questions and made me feel intimidated. I have always been told I perform extremely well in interviews. I always believe I can hold myself well; even though this Manager tried to put me under pressure, I still believe I smashed it. Our conversation lasted around an hour and a half. Just the standard questions, however I found a couple of his questions weird. He told me that the agency produces a lot of commission and what I would do with that money. I felt if that was very personal. However, I told him that I have always wanted to buy a house young and would like to save up for a deposit on a nice house and create a family. He then pushed for what deposit I would give, would I not get a car first etc. I just found him very strange. After that he then took me to the main office and sat me down at one of the spare computers. He made me go through a list of previous clients they had used in their agency and call them all to reoffer services. Bear in mind I have never done recruitment work before. And he kind of left me on my own. He listened to 3 calls and gave me feedback and then left me for 2 hours calling through this list, in front of a full office. He then told me to go on my lunch for 30 minutes. I thought this was an interview. Not a trial shift. I came back after lunch and he invited me back into his office and just was talking about the company in depth. It was all just his ego talking, telling me about how far he has come in life. I finished around 2:30 bare in mind I was there at 9AM. As soon as I got home he told me I did not get the job due to me not being money oriented. He wanted me to buy expensive watches and clothes with my money as the first thing he bought with his commission was a Rolex. I was disgusted by this. I asked if there was any other reason and he just said that was the only issue. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS GREEDY COMPANY
For almost 1 year i am working with G2 as ZZP Clear and nice communication, no single problem with the payment (every week on time)
Spam spam and more spam. The unsubscribe process doesnt even have an effect.
I've had a frustrating experience with G2. While our cooperation began well, things have taken a turn for the worse. They consistently fail to pay my invoices on time and have issues with their administration, including missing timesheets. What's even more frustrating is that they don't proactively address these mistakes; they only respond when I send reminders about unpaid invoices. This has been a highly disappointing experience.
i think this company and its employees are scam. send email with jobs not real (no real client) and if they ever call they will just try to collect information as much as they can from the job seekers (about their managers, some contacts...etc) better to block them and never answer their calls/requests
I received multiple emails about wildly irrelevant positions from this company. Never something I could actually do. I asked them to delete my data and stop contacting me. If they do again, further action will be taken.
I think this company is a Scam. They have been bombarding me about vacancies that they think I am suitable for. But when I replied that I am interested in the position. No communication again The next thing is another email to say that there is a job I am suitable for. They are coming across as a Scam company. Too many emails, when I responded or call they don't seems to know what they have sent out to I don't think there is any real job that exist. I am assuming they are using the Platform for training. I have asked them to remove my name from there database which they have not done . I am frustrated with them
They have been bombarding me with emails, most of them with irrelevant jobs. I have requested to be unsubscribed and my request has been ignored.
Bombard you with totally irrelevant jobs, as though they've not read your CV at all. Even unsubscribing, they still email. I wouldn't give this outfit the time of day, as a candidate nor as a recruiter, as they come across as totally amateur. A totally impersonal service and their recruitment agents are clearly just clambering for commission. My advice is to go for a smaller, specialist recruitment company.
0 stars if it was an option. I have been in contact with this company for 3 months now. I have been called by at least 20 different people in this company. (Some of which sounded like they were hungover or still drunk from a night out). They all have asked me the same set of lengthy questions every time clearly from a script. It is exhausting. They also send out emails saying that you are a great match for a role and when you reply with your CV and say that you are interested, they ghost you and then say the position has now been filled. They have never put me forward for any interviews or jobs even though they keep telling me my skills/ my experience are niche and are in high demand. To top it off at the end of the conversation, they then will ask you if you know anyone else that is looking for work ( pretty annoying when you are the one who is unemployed and trying to find work). They are just gathering information, not actually trying to help you find a job. Don’t bother!
incredibly annoying company. Once they have your contact details, they don't stop calling, emailing etc.. On all channels. High score is currently 6 calls in a row. Even if they are blocked everywhere, they try anonymous calls, try to be put through via the operator, etc. Requests to stop doing this are ignored. It's a nasty pusher crew. Because of the way they do business, this dubious company will never get any orders.
Once they got your email they'll spam you for life. Requests to remove your contact details will be ignored. Good that my mail server has good spam filters. Added there domain to the black list
I am freelancer since 1996 and had many opportunities by many recruiting companies. Most of them worked for me, somehow. Some of them did not and it was painful. G2 is exactly what I call a professional agency! Everything worked out fine for me, process, payment, absolutely marvelous communication and contact (thanks Mo‘ for the good talk we had and the 100% satisfying service), good team. I would reach out to G2 any time again! Recommendation!
I had the most terrible experience in my 25 years working in IT. I was fired without any comprehensive reason after 4 days from starting the project with client Illumina Belgium.

Feb 16,2024The most frustrating agency Ive ever dealt with. They bombard your mail inbox and phone with vacancies that are non existent just to fish out some information from you on who else is recruiting out there, what roles are available& where, to get names of team managers/correct contacts. They pretend to be concerned asking where else your name has been forwarded by other agencies. So that they take infor/placements from what you share. Housing team in Birmingham ie Joseph & his team- so so frustrating. They should stop raising our hopes or we will report them as they will be doing it for their own interests & never for applicant's. So far they have claimed they have put me forward for 100+ job apps but till today non has EVER led to interview or even just follow up. 1 email after another but when I replied that I am interested in the position. No communication again The next thing is another email to say that there is a job I am suitable for. Too many emails, when I responded or call they don't seem to know what they have sent out. I don't think there is any real job that exist. Dealt with them for a year now but still no help, nothing has led to an interview or even informal chat with employer. So unhelpful. I am so frustrated with them
