Personally due to having very minimal money as I'm a student and my partner is disabled I cannot afford to buy switch games I've been so tempted to try but thanks to this group I've been able to swap many games I've finished a few times over for games I've always wanted to try! Thank you so much for making this app and group and for all the hard work you've put into it šā¤

Nov 08,2021Although the whole trading ethos is a good idea. I didnāt really find many people swapping a big variety of games. Everyone seemed to be after the same small handful of stuff like animal crossing. If you went Mario games I guess itās well aimed at that but if youāre into obscure RPGs or limited run games you may struggle to find swaps regularly.

Nov 03,2021Genius idea! If youāre looking to save a good bit of cash definitely go with this group/website! Never done anything like this before so I was weary. I agreed a swap with a trusted trader and sent my game over. When the trader has received my game he sent over his game and I received it the following dayāŗļø I had one teeny tiny issue which Daryl (Admin) sorted out with in an hour or two! Will definitely use again!

Oct 31,2021The app is buggy as hell. Person I swapped with could not verify they received their game for me to do a second swap because it wouldnāt work for them and I couldnāt upload many messages to them when arranging them swap due to the bugs on the app. Also these new competitions are a scam. 50p a ticket and 200 tickets for a Ā£40 game. Thats a 1 in 200 chance to win. Thatās also Ā£100 in total from ticket sales. 10% is for charity which is fair enough but thatās still only Ā£10 and Ā£3 roughly is postage so where does the other Ā£40 odd go??? Not to charity like it should be. Clearly lining their pockets again like they were when they used to do the competitions and stole everyoneās money then too!!! Made up some excuse about PayPal and took all the winnings from that as well. Would stay well clear. Guys a scammer and no Iām not an ex member who tried to scam anyone. Iām still a current member who has done successful swaps before the app went live, if you donāt know what Iām talking about them feel free to check your Facebook page reviews thereās plenty of people on their that mention how you scammed them and kept their money from your last competitions. Thatās wierd that you say you refunded everyone because everyone else says differently. āpaid Ā£6 for a "raffle ticket" which then they said got cancelled due to Facebook closing the page down, so where did everyone's Ā£6 go? apparently they had paypal charges and their account closed due to it, so I phoned PayPal myself and questioned whether this is something they do and I was told no, they've never done anything like that before and they would have no reason to do that due to the fact that everything was paid via friends and family. so where is mine and everyone else's Ā£6?? are you that desperate for money that you have to steal....?ā Just one of many reviews from people who took part in your last raffles. Hereās another. āMan I had like 30 quid on the oculus raffle and when I questioned he say fab shut the page and PayPal shut his account within an hour of each other and PayPal wonāt refund the money. He said he is on universal credit so canāt pay people out and then said as compensation we would get free lifetime membership of the new app but now saying everyone gets it who is a member nowā Very weird how youāre claiming you refunded people then Isnāt it?? So I guess youāre a liar and a scammer too??? š Then thereās the person who never got their game from a swap because it was sent to your house by mistake and you lost it in your bedroom and gave them a shoddy excuse about needing to clean your room weeks and weeks later. Probably because you still live with your mummy. Lol Donāt worry itās there for everyone to see. The fact you have got so defensive and shown aggression towards me in your replies just shows what kind of person and scammer you really are. You donāt pay tax and commission from raffles bud. Not unless youāre trying to pocket some of the money from the tickets. Which is clearly what you did with the PayPal raffles before they caught wind and shut your account down for breaking their terms and conditions of no raffles. Which is probably why youāre now using an actual raffle company which are taking a huge cut of the profits for a Ā£40 game. Itās pretty obvious you are taking money of people to fund your lifestyle. Thatās why you used crowdfunding to improve your app? Oh yer how did that work out for you? Probably sat at home on universal credit??? Sad little man. You also mention the reviews being from people with low IQ? Hereās another review. āKicked for questioning why I was on trusted traders list without actually successfully trading... The group is a way to get people to participate in the raffles which earns profit.ā Iām sorry who has the low IQ? š. Letās not forget to mention how you had to replace your whole admin team from the original people who you got onboard when you created the group because they made their own swapping group and you banned them all out of jealousy or competition. Yes this happened. I know them all. Yes they all speak the truth & you banned them all. So whoās the jealous one?? All you do is ban people who donāt share your views, goals or opinions! Well ones you catch anyway š As for not knowing how businesses work. I have my own business pal. It paid for my first house. Iām now saving for my second. Unlike you I have thousands of 5 star reviews not 600. So jokes on you. I also know wether you have 600 or 60,000 it only takes a couple of bad reviews and things to happen to jeopardise peopleās opinions and trust in a company or business model. So you keep running your mouth off about your good reviews. Itās quite obvious you have plenty of people that feel otherwise. You just banned them so they canāt have their say. Well Iām still a member so guess you missed a trick or 2 with your app didnāt you? Good luck trying to find out who I am tho.

Sep 20,2021Swap shop is amazing! I've traded nearly 20 games through game swap shop and have had nothing but a breeze of an experience. Paying postage to get a game you want while sending someone a game they want has saved me so much money. Thanks to Darryl for putting this altogether, can't give you enough respect for all you've done for the gaming community.

Sep 17,2021Brilliant support from the owner, I had a small issue with the Web app not displaying my messages to other users and after receiving several promt replies to my emails the issue was able to be fixed the same day.

Sep 17,2021Awesome idea and execution! With switch games holding their price and scalpers like CEX hammering people on trade ins Game Swap Shop has filled a gap that gamers really needed. Easy to list, browse and trade games, safe and secure as backed by a FB group so generally you already know the person you are trading with. I canāt even think how much money this little app has saved me over the time Iāve used it. Highly recommended service

Sep 17,2021Stumbled across this his group whilst it was young. When I finished my switch games it was simple enough to trade with another member for a game you want - all for the price of postage. Great group, Friendly members and lots of people to swap with. Thanks to Daryl for creating a fab process which perfectly fits a gap in the market. Awesome stuff!!

I have been able to play games that I wouldnāt usually be able to afford, this service makes it easy, for the price of postage you can swap your titles for something different, when you have finished with your swap you can always swap again! I have saved hundreds by using this easy and friendly service, everyone is lovely and everything is run to perfection! This is the way forward for all gamers!

Sep 07,2021I canāt recommend Swap Shop UK enough, Iāve done 7 swaps since the new app was introduced, each one was not only a breeze but the people I swapped with couldnāt have been more lovely, itās a great way to not only save money but also speak to fellow gamers who are also passionate about video games, if youāre in any doubt give swapping a go, you wonāt regret it, the app is simple to use too and if you need any sort of help, Iāve no doubt one of the friendly admin would be happy to help out!!

Instead of forking out loads for a game and play it once, now you can trade it for another when you're done. The app is fantastic and so easy to use I give it 10 stars!

Sep 06,2021I come from a generation where we used to trade our sandwiches in the playground, football stickers, and when we were men, flavoured condoms. I have got to say that this swap shop is the future of swapping videogames and is an amazing concept. The app was seamless and easy to use, i have traded 3 games now and have saved so much money just through connecting with gamers using this app. If you are even a casual gamer, you need to be on this. Once you play a game to death why not get something new and allow someone to enjoy for first time, the games you no longer wish to play. 10/10 and Daryl Williams is a genius.
