Jan 14,2025We've been waiting for a new boiler for 8 years (a mix of putting it off financially, and struggling to find a trustworthy plumber), then Lewis was recommended to us. It turns out that we had used Lewis 10 years ago for a very small job which we both forgot about! Anyway, Lewis' communication was incredible, quoting us for a new boiler, hot water flush and new thermostat, all over Whatsapp and 1 phone call, after asking for information and photos. The quote was right for us, and he managed to squeeze us in the following week. He kept in touch right up to the day of the installation, and confirmed timings. He is polite, efficient and tidy. Nothing was a problem, and he gave advice on the best way to heat our house with the new boiler and our current UFH. Before leaving he made sure I was happy with the job and I knew all the new controls. The morning after the installation he checked in to make sure there weren't any problems over night. There were no problems, but one of our Rads wasn't getting hot enough and our hot water was too hot. Within minutes he had given me the right instructions to easily fix both issues myself. He did offer to come by the house and do them himself but I knew I could do it with advice. All in all a totally perfect 5* service and we will continue to use Lewis in the future. Hopefully we have found our 'forever plumber'!

Oct 02,2024We have had low hot water pressure for over 2 years and have tried to find a plumber to help us since. We have received some ridiculous quotes & have been told some ridiculous reasons as to why our hot water pressure is bad. I am now 8 months pregnant and was desperately looking for someone to sort this issue for us before our baby comes and I saw someone recommending Lewis on a facebook group. I am so happy I found him! He was very fast at replying, he came to source the problem & gave us a quote within a day & fit us in his schedule for the week after. He came today and fixed the problem in 5hrs, the same problem we have been quoted 5 days to fix. We are so happy to have finally found a plumber we can trust! Don’t hesitate to book Lewis, he’s the best out there!

You know, all those years of jumping from one plumber/heating specialist to another, when in hindsight, you think… yeh, but not a great experience. LOOK NO further. After 30 years of having to deal with frankly very average heating specialists, I came across Lewis and Gas Fix (he heads up with Daniel). They are quite frankly SUPERB! Highly efficient and thoroughly accommodating, they are one of my best discoveries of 2023. Don’t hesitate –use them, you won’t regret it :)

Communication was excellent and his team were helpful and courteous. Importantly to my mum, they left no mess whatsoever. Mum now has a warm home and the peace of mind of a ten year guarantee!
