How come I can't get anywhere with this game because it keeps telling me that I've lost my connection and I can clearly hear in the background on when it restarts ask me do I want to restart it restarts and it's a lose all my money I can never get ahead what is the problem here.do you do this deliberately do this so we have to start paying for the game? I have a very strong WiFi connection so there is no reason for losing my connection. This game is unplayable.
Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Tenereife at Las Madrigalas/Las Americas and will certainly rebook for spring next year
Just rebooked with GolfKings for our annual Turkey Golf Trip after using them for the first time last year. I always source 3 quotes first. This time GolfKings were £40 dearer than the lowest quote. We decided to still go with them because it was a pleasure to deal with them. I’ve dealt with Stuart Northorpe and found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend them for your next golf trip.
I’m editing following an advised internal review by GolfKings which, essentially, said we were wrong and their lack of action was ‘enough’. Would add that my mate and I took rain gear and are not averse to playing in a bit of rain, but we know the difference between playing in rain and when play is rained off. Now back to the original tale, which is basically about a company with no plans or contingencies when life does not go to plan. The t&c’s we were given on arrival said we needed to attend the golf course in the event of rain or else we’d lose any entitlement for a re-arrangement. These need changing to say whatever the weather you’ll lose your money if you’ve paid upfront and the weather takes a turn for the worse. Put simply we didn’t find any added value booking our holiday through GolfKings. This tale refers to a day rocking up at the course when the rain was heavily stair-rodding it down and the course in question wouldn’t accommodate any change of time or date and simply told us to play because there wasn’t any lightening: My mate and I go away c8 times each winter for golf in the sunshine - mainland Spain, the Balearics or Portugal - generally using Jet2 or making our own arrangements, and have rarely had any problems. The only trouble we have had has been rain related, but the courses have always refunded the money or offered a voucher to play on a day to be arranged on a return visit. Whilst we accept GolfKings don’t control the weather - the only constant refrain heard from the GolfKings “expert” when we ‘finally’ managed to make contact upon returning to the UK - we would have expected more understanding and effort to see our point of view and maybe try and leverage their position, which would likely have resulted in another booking for GolfKings if they’d been successful. Trying and failing would at least have been something and garnered some goodwill but we got nothing until, eventually, a retrospective offering which was advised over an hour after the time the alternative tee time would have applied and in the knowledge we had other golf plans booked for the day in question anyway. Add this in to the niggles making the original booking we can say this hasn’t been a good experience. Which is a shame, really, because we’ll certainly be going back to Turkey, a place we really liked where the hospitality (outside this one issue) was tremendous and matched my earlier visits of over 20 years ago, only next time we will make our usual, alternative arrangements and certainly won’t be entertaining GolfKings for any future bookings. It’s not that problems happen it’s how they’re handled and this problem has been handled very badly by the supplier. A clubhouse full of people from the UK will be getting their requested update so can’t see them giving GolfKings a shot. We, though, will be taking some of their advise onboard on how to avoid paying for rained-off days for future trips to the region .
Looking forward to our trip to Turkey next March but the whole booking process had been first class. From a quick and helpful quote to regular communications from the customer service department. As lead booker, it helps so much when the company you are booking through are as efficient as this. Very impressed.
Had a great and fantastically organised golf break in Portugal - hotel/courses were superb and from booking through to after sales support Matt Connelly our Golf King rep was brilliant. Will definitely look to book again through Matt and Golf Kings next year! 10 out of 10 from us!! 👍
Our holiday in Gloria Serenity was excellent in all regards. The booking service from Golf Kings was excellent with very helpful staff. Everything in Turkey went perfectly, from airport pickup onwards. The hotel and golf courses were first class. We have no hesitation in recommending the company.
BRK37425. First of all hotel was excellent. They want more money for al a carte but to be fair the meals we had were excellent. Very near to our departure we were informed one of the two courses we booked in our package was closed for maintenance. The result being we would have to pay an extra 40-60 euro pp each!! This didn’t go down well with my party and as organiser you feel responsible. Booked plane seats and when we got to airport to check in no seats booked. This is despite emails to confirm seats were booked? Because of the situation with us playing same course I asked in advance to change tee times for two of our four rounds. Email to confirm this. Arrived for first round three and a half hours early as tee time hadn’t been changed. Another embarrassment. Have been in contact and asked for gesture of goodwill. More so to make me feel better after convincing my party to use this company and spend so much money. Offer back £50 pp if we book with them again!!! I can’t print response of my party. Oops also offered 12 golf balls between us! Nice place excellent hotel decent golf course ruined by bad organising and poor after sales. Have since had contact with a Carol from their customer services. A completely different level of service in a positive way. We only want to be listened to without having to complain!! Thanks Carol.
Turkey September 2022 Matched a quote and everything ran smoothly whilst in Turkey so on price very good. Poor after sales service which is a big dissspointment.
As always with Golfkings first class service with no hassle, sorted out a slight problem immediately so we can now enjoy our holiday!!
Great so far ready to book
From start to finish communication has been great and prompt answers to any questions asked
We have booked with GolfKings for many years and always had excellent service. Any enquiries have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Would always recommend for golf holidays.
I've just taken over the golf trip organisation from a colleague and rang & spoke to David Bates. He was very helpful with explaining what had already been done - I had a couple of queries and he had a revised price and answered all my questions within an hour Hot service.
Golfkings were very easy to deal with and the organisation of our golf trip was excellent. The Sueno de Luxe hotel was excellent, as was the organisation of transport and golf by Matrix. All in all everything was organised to perfection, and i would definitely use Golfkings again.
Great time at Salgados Palm Village, would definitely recommend this place and would use GolfKings again. Played Salgados, Boavista, Morgado and Alamos (all good courses but take plenty of balls, water everywhere.) Only negative was difficulty in getting buggies, something GolfKings could consider including at time of booking..
Thought I would write a review on my partys recent golf holiday in Portugal. Everything had went smoothly until we reached Salgados Palm Village, we arrived just before 12noon to check in and change before our first round at Alamos at 2pm, when I asked about the times that the courtesy bus to Alamos left he informed me that it wasn't a courtesy bus and would have to be paid for and should have been booked in advance and there was no more space anyway .After phoning Golfkings sand then PAGS ,eventually after over an hour or so PAGS managed to secure 2 Taxis to take our party of 12 and clubs to Alamos, all a bit rushed. We also had to make sure with PAGS that the following day was arranged as we had tee times the following morning at the same place and this also had not been arranged. Also a note for the future is that the Manager informed us that check in time is 4pm but he did his best to get 5 rooms available for us and 2 of us just moved our stuff once we came back from the golf, it might be a different story at high season, It would be a good idea to let party's know in future. After the initial hassel of the first day we all enjoyed our golf holiday. Jim McMahon
What an excellent 3 nights the 7 of us had at Le Manoir Hotel in Le Touquet. Firstly, having our journey via Eurotunnel meant little problem getting over the channel. Due to the M20 being used as a lorry park, it did take 90 minutes longer than usual, but that was most acceptable under the circumstances. I doubt we would have made it should a ferry been the mode of booked travel. The hotel was very good. Most friendly, excellent breakfast - the scrambled eggs were of particular note - comfortable rooms and walking distance of the 2 Le Touquet courses. We took a taxi on 2 nights into the town for dinner, and ate one evening meal in the hotel. Better value food could be found in town, but that was eroded after the taxi fare which was €18 each way. My favourite course which was where we had our first game was at Hardelot, Les Dunes. Very undulating and picturesque. The second was La Mer at Le Touquet. Very good links style course with a few raised tees. The third round was Les Pins at Hardelot. Again a superb course, delightful to play and again picturesque. All courses were in excellent condition, and we were made welcome at each place with booked tees running spot on time, and thoroughly recommended. If needed, there were plenty of buggies at each course. One thing of note, our first game was at Hardelot. When we turned up they asked for our voucher. We did not have one, but as a booking for 8 people was on their syste we were invited to play. The next day we found out Le Manoir Hotel hold the vouchers for all the booked rounds of golf. We will certainly return, the value is excellent, and your company will be on the top of our recommended list for others wanting to go. Thank you for sorting the short stay out for us, we would all give it 5 stars.
Just returned from our first golf trip to Belek, Turkey with GolfKings and it was brilliant! The customer service from start to finish was superb from Gordon and the team with any questions answered promptly. In Belek they used Matrix Golf Holidays for the course bookings and transfers who were also excellent. Ozan couldn't be more helpful and was able to secure us more suitable tee times once we were there. Overall a fantastic experience and holiday and we will not hesitate to use GolfKings again.
