Aug 09,2017We've bought our first home with Goodfellows, and we are left with a bitter aftertaste. The company and the agent were very enthusiastic and pushy till the handover... and then everything changed. On the day of the handover it is the agent's/company's responsibility to make sure the house is as promised. They did nothing to ensure this. It is only after we moved in, we had seen how the builder had cheated us out of many things by cheaping out on materials. there were holes inside inbuilt cupboards and sawdust and building debris left inside the cupboards for us to clean. Then we realised the BUILDER has cheated us out of the agreed upon snagging list. So we called up the AGENTS to ask them to intervene, and they just completely washed their hands off us saying they can't help us because the builder hasn't paid them. Our main gate fell off within 2 days of moving, and they said they can't help us with anything. Why would I go through an agent if at the end there is no answerablity. Disgusting behaviour - even though we bought a lovely house, we've ended up feeling cheated.
