Good move found a buyer for my house - chain free within two days of having an open house. terrible service inside and out try to bribe the customers to take bad reviews down court proceedings are soon heading there way 13000 pound they tried to keep from someone i know sham full behaviour from any business that claimed to be professional i get they need a percentage but not that jeez talk about taking liberty's do not choose this company to sell your home !!!!!!

We have been trying to sell our house for some time in the current awful market. Impressively, when I spoke with GoodMove, while they did offer me a quotation within their usual price ranges, the actual advice I received from them was not to go with them but to wait it out on the market. I can’t remember the last time I felt that a company was genuinely seeking my best interests, not just their bottom line. I can’t offer much more than this recommendation in return - but very impressed. If you are even just thinking of going with them, give them a call - highly recommended.

I'd done quite a lot of research before I contacted Goodmove by already having an RICS valuation - so I knew exactly how much our property was valued at. I then contacted them and got a call back from Rowan a short while after. I thought it was worth an enquiry as we were looking to sell to a quick timescale and the up to 85% quoted on their website against my known valuation was definitely a hefty discount but potentially something I could work with. However, on the call, I was quoted 80% and we discussed, at length, the speed of our local property market which I am happy to admit is not as good as it was a year ago. I'm sure our area is not alone in that respect. Rowan was going to speak to his director and promised me a call later that day although this never happened. It seems to me that the whole idea of this strategy is that I take the hit on price to get the timescale I want and then Goodmove absorbs the time it takes to sell (given it may be longer in buyers markets) but still makes the profit based on the price I sell to them at. Whether the market is booming or floundering the percentage should stay the same - it's just the market value that changes. Seems not to be the case - at least when you've done all the research beforehand and know the numbers you're playing with in advance of contacting them. Clearly, reviews from other customers show the process works for them - but for me, it showed there is a lot more to the somewhat simple claim that "we buy any house for up to 85% of market value".

Great Advice. Went online to request a call back and someone called within 10 minutes. Couldn't help as we are helptobuy but gave me some wonderful advice about selling our home in the present market, even though we knew at the beginning of the conversation that they couldn't buy our home with cash.
