I would give o stars if I could, bought a go pro Christmas 22, was faulty, spent hours trying to het hold of someone, days...eventually did, arranged for it to be sent back and a replacement sent, sent it back in Nov 23, still waiting!!! Every time I leave message for call back they say they will be approx 5 mins, always call next day when at work, have spent approx £600 on go pro and accessories, disgusted to say the least doesnt seem to be any way to escalate to an ombudsmen or something as they are overseas, feel robbed, avoid at all costs unless you want to throw your money down the drain, I believed them to be a reputable company
Terrible customer service concerning subscription which automatically renews, no cooling off period!
The most useless device I have ever had the displeasure of using. The actual hardware is ok but the software has been designed by primary school kids with no logic, structure or thought for the end user. Now smashed and in the bin because it has stolen far too much of my time and I am far better off without it.
By far, GoPro has the WORST customer service I can honestly say that I have EVER experienced. They take, no steal, renewal fees for an account that has NEVER BEEN USED and refuse to give a refund OR the offer of transferring the 'unused' renewal to an account currently in use. Shocking, dreadful, unhelpful and money grabbing are just a few words i would use. A word of warning to all.... CANCEL your auto renewal before you lose it for ever or better still - cancel it forever.
Tried to buy a camera, got 3 different prices from their website and eventually managed to get a price. Tried to buy it and refused, asked for a callback they quoted 16 minutes hour and a half later requested another callback and they finally called Couldn't tell me what was wrong and couldn't take the order over the phone. Eventually got an email suggesting payment refused. So tried again with PayPal, exactly the same. Lousy company and customer service Every cloud has a silver lining, found a company in Wales called Olfi. Same quality cameras, 1/2 the price and easy to do business with
Gopro one of the worse customer service if you can call it that. Wanted to Return my unused Gopro they sent me the return documents and GoPro Sent back the camera. When I challenged them about it they told me by email they do not have control over UPS. They put the phone down on me twice and did not return my call. I sent the Gopro to them again this week, just to see that the Gopro will be returned to me again. So I will be taking action under the sales and goods act and get the bank to take action.
Crap Customer service I bught a helmet mount accesoriy and a part was missing. Normally a company will send a replacement but not gopro. They want a photograph of the missing part???. Remember this is simply the sliding quick release clamp you screw a camera to. Apparently according to the untrained moron I spoke to it has a magnet in it. Apalling
Terrible service. Customer service does not exist. Go pro will take your money and run. Terrible web site.options to get through are there, however No real way of getting through. Chat service is a digital disgrace. Call back service is a waste of time. I strongly advise anyone looking for GoPro products to avoid dealing with GoPro directly. They do not have the means or the Interest to provide the service required. Avoid Avoid
I've been a loyal GoPro customer for many years and I do love the product. What has concerned me recently has been the continuing problems with orders. I recently place an order for a mount which all went ok and my order was duly sent out via UPS. Got all the usual notifications regarding its arrival at different hubs etc, and received an email informing me of a scheduled delivery. Great! Well no, because the scheduled delivery came and went without anything. UPS tracking info said "on time" for my delivery so contacted both companies to ask the issue. GoPro chat continuously give you promises that it seems they have no intention acting on. UPS only acknowledge there is a problem when you write a bad review on Trustpilot and GoPro seem happy to continue to collude with this company to take peoples hard earned money from them. It's nearly a month now and I still have no order or no money. My faith in this company has gone, and it's obvious no one at a higher level within GoPro gives a flying @@@@ because of their lack of interaction with this very site. Or is it just GoPro Europe that they don't care about??
great service and customer support, just a shame the new go pro release with so many faults and issues that it does not work fully with the app and commands. you are better off sticking with the older version until they get all the bugs out and get the latest version working as should
Aboslutely terrible customer service - order despatch non existent - no communications. You can't get any response from them. Buy from Amazon if you want a GoPro, not from the company direct as you will have a really bad experience from their sales
GoPro customer service in the UK is in breach of the UK Trading Standards by failing to provide customer service thus violating customers' statutory rights! Spent two days waiting for response from the chat room and scheduled call. They hide under covid 19 situation although people have been back to work for more than a month now! So it's no excuse! Looks like the company is going bankrupt reason why they are only selling off their old stock with no response to return and other enquiries. The camera I received is faulty, gets extremely hot and freezes which according to GoPro forum is not normal. I believe they have the whole batch of old faulty cameras they are trying to get rid off, therefore should be persecuted for this! Do not buy unless you want to risk receiving a faulty camera. The company is in trouble, so it is better to avoid any purchases from them until things get clear. Stay safe...
As a Local Councillor and Trustee on the Board of Knowsley Disability Concerns I was appalled when I spoke to my local delivery man that he was moved from L16 to L15. The reason for my concerns is that he is very good and he knows all our local older people and chats to them. They are happy to open their door to him and he is a friendly face and as he knows my role locally he will report any concerns he may have about a resident. Disgusted with GoPro is customer service I cannot stress enough how rubbish go pro customer services I wish the star rating went to -1000 ⭐️ After being on GoPro customer for five years I thought it was time to upgrade to the new hero 7...... my God what a mistake I took advantage of the hundred pound upgrade Camera promotion that they were doing after sending them to my camera them receiving it they then ship the new gopro out. I then received an invoice for the full amount when I questioned it they said it’s because they sent an SD card and you cannot have any other product in conjunction with the camera offer. On the website it doesn’t allow you to continue shopping unless you have ticked the SD card. After several phone calls I eventually was told that I would have to ship it back to GoPro myself and they would send out a free gift to cover the cost choose one of the three items I said...... So I did and they marked out to even though UPS picked up the parcel it’s tracked it is back in their warehouse and I have been promised my hundred pounds back for nearly 2 months now still nothing and I am still phoning once a week to try and sort this out. Horrendous disgusting useless rubbish adjust the polite versions I can use for their customer service. All I hear is here at GoPro we are very sorry and again you’re lying please don’t lie. The Nextep for me is to take it to the Small Claims Court and get a CCJ put against GoPro maybe they will listen and likely because they are expletive is useless. At the same time I purchased a DJI pocket Osmo And in hindsight you know that thing that is wonderful I should’ve waited for their new sports camera because their customer service is excellent. Unlikely that anyone at GoPro bother to read this and if they did they would probably say oh we are really sorry I’m not there I think about it This is the Support case numbIs the understatement of 2019er 06834857 Again if the reviews on here don’t speak for their selves I can only advise anyone and everyone that would listen NOT to buy a gopro.
It isn't shocking to see that go pro have nothing but negative review after the experience I have had with them. Possibly the worst return policy and procedure in the whole entirety of online shopping. They can't even send a return label and then you need to go through their customer service which you have to laugh at otherwise you will get frustrated and angry. With agents such as Francis Aries T who can barely write in English let alone read it, but what is more insulting is the time i wasted trying to explain the basic maths that i paid 39.99 and he was insistent that i paid 33.33 and it just doesn't add up. Anyway, most certainly the last time I will be purchasing anything with them again- you simply do not want to make the same mistake twice in this instance!
Ordered a latch for my go pro casing. It was well priced and arrived promptly, good quality item with good communication. No problems at all.
James kindly offered to help me once I entered the site and as I was getting a bit confused his advice was really useful. He was very nice and helpful, checking lots of bits of info for me and clearly explaining what I needed to know. It is so great to have customer support live chat and speak to somebody who knows what they are talking about. James was a great help to me, worthy of a bonus :)

Sep 09,2024Following a chat discussion with customer service, I sent back my defective GoPro. 10 days later, no news. I recontact customer service, who tells me that the GoPro has arrived and that I should have news within 24 hours. No news. I call back 2 days later, same scenario, they should contact me back, the GoPro is there, then nothing. I call back 2 days later, they tell me that the returned package arrived empty. On my side, I have proof that I sent the GoPro because the weight noted by UPS is 300g. This customer service person even closed the chat without giving me time to respond, also telling me that they would contact me back. My partner called again, and the person on the phone even insinuated that we were trying to commit fraud, while since early August I have been struggling on GoPro forum and on the French GoPro Facebook group to find a solution to my problem, which initially was a simple SD card issue that turned into "you must send it back." Is there anyone competent and efficient at GoPro who can solve my problem quickly? It was supposed to be my birthday gift for traveling, it crashed after 2 days on the trip, and I am desperate to have to leave again without a camera.
