Clearly based in poland and a company that seems barely more than an empty shell. awful customer service, ignored multiple times then a sarcastic email that claimed they never received my payment despite me checking out using paypal?! what an absolute joke - have raised a dispute with PayPal to recover my money. BUYERS BEWARE!

Apr 03,2024Gravity Blankets UK is a scam. They require you to pay extortionate customs duty, which is unexpected due to the company name and website address. I have been told by PayPal I have to pay the whole amount ,then dispute it if it doesn't arrive. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Nov 24,2023My experience of gravityblankets.co.uk suggests it’s actually a scam. The website is very cleverly set up to completely disguise the fact that the blankets (if they exist at all) are shipped from Poland. Every possible care has been taken to make the website appear British. I now realise that’s a red flag for scams. I ordered a blanket for my husband at a cost of £200 only to find later that I had to pay £95 in import taxes to the UK. I paid them straight away but a month after I placed my order the UPS tracking seems stuck and every time I contact Gravity Blankets for help they just send the dead tracking number again. I wish I had done more research and heeded other reviews. Avoid at all costs.

Nov 24,2023Potential buyer BEWARE. I feel very sad that I didnt read the reviews before buying this product. I got caught out like others on here thinking the co.uk meant it was a UK company in the UK. I got hit with a £65 excess on the shipping as it came from Poland. I tried to speak to them through their contact messaging but no-one returned my messages. I tried to call the number but it was constantly engaged. To even think of returning the blanket would cost me as much again This is extremely bad practice and I will never use this company again. I have made sure to tell all my friends and colleagues about this and have warned them off this company.

Sep 15,2023Horrendous company, placed an order with them, free postage and VAT paid only to receive an invoice from UPS for import duty and taxes. Seller is not responding to any communications. Raised a dispute with PayPal but regardless of that I am now being bullied by UPS who tell me that I must pay them and they will keep charging me interest if I don’t.

Jul 28,2023I ordered a weighted coat from these. It arrived and was clearly not made in the way described on the website, so as to make it unusable. I requested a return and received a reply that the item could not be returned. This is completely against UK and EU statutory rights for internet buying. When I responded as such, I had no reply. I had no choice but to raise a merchant dispute via PayPal and suddenly I received a response with a return address. I am however deeply distrustful of this return address and awaiting clarification as it mentions a company "Senso-Rex" but the Senso Rex website has a different return address. I'm not convinced it's still not a scam and they're getting me to send it to an address that doesn't exist and then to say that they never received my item to refund it. Absolute disgrace of a company that looks to mislead and try to break the law at every opportunity once they have your cash.

Jun 21,2023Do not buy from this company. I previously bought 2 blankets a 3 to 4 years back and they were a top company. However recently purchased one and they charged £60 on delivery which they do not tell you when ordering, so the blankets costs over £200. Absolute scam!!

Apr 05,2023Blatant scam. Not a single mention of import fees needing to be paid, the company is registered by location and domain to the uk mainland so the need for import tax is fraudulent. Disgusting company. No reply from customer support about my refund yet their policy explicitly says 100days refund guarantee for any reason. In short, it’s a pathetic scummy company and you shouldn’t go near it. I look forward to my small claims court case :)

Mar 03,2023UK buyers beware hidden import charges!! Totally deceitful - no mention anywhere in buying process (only in their small print). Have been charged £42 by FedEx for a £149 blanket. Ships from Poland . Despite UK website/ contact details and ‘free shipping’. Reading other reviews I suppose I should be grateful it arrived at all???!!! Def should have read Trustpilot reviews before buying… AVOID!

Feb 25,2023I ordered a new all season cover for my balance blanket, which I've had for a few years now. The quality of the cover is terrible and nowhere near to the one I already have. For this reason, I wanted to return it. They mislead customers by showing pictures of the original, good quality cover and send you rubbish. When complaining, they reply that they "stand behind the quality of their products". What a joke! Despite the fact that they claim free shipping on their website, they charged me 20£ shipping expenses. I will now need to return the cover at my own cost (approx. 45 Euro from Belgium). I used to be super excited about Gravity Blanket and tell all my friends and family about it, but I will make sure everyone knows now what kind of thieves they are. DO NOT BY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE BECAUSE ANYWAY YOU WILL BE LEFT FEELING RIPPED OFF

Feb 08,2023Website co.uk, UK in the company name, registered in the UK. Product priced and paid for in GBP. And yet you get hit for for import taxes. Complain and they say they try hard to point this out. Very disingenuous.

Jan 23,2023Ordered in early november, got a confirmation email and the money came out of my account. Now in mid January there have been no further updates on my order and no response to any of my emails. I seriously doubt I will recieve either my blanket or a refund at this point. Please avoid this company like the plague, couldn't have had a worse experience.

Jan 10,2023DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE! Ordered a gravity blanket from UK WEBSITE on 5th December. Was provided with a UK receipt showing VAT paid. Item was finally dispatched 23/12, despite customer services (who were rubbish) telling me I couldn’t cancel order on 14/12 as it had already been dispatched! When item was dispatched it was sent from POLAND! and FedEx billed me a further £40 for a £139 blanket. Gravity blanket had not completed the correct paperwork and the paperwork provided to FedEx showed I had NOT paid VAT. I refused delivery of the item as advised by customer services but still appear to have the customs bill awaiting my Payment. Awful company, awful customer services and VERY misleading website. UK registered company - SENSO REX….

Dec 30,2022It is just possible that these people operate within the letter of the law, but they are wholly dishonest humans and they knowingly advertise on a false premise. Their UK registered website, UK phone line, and UK address, all leads you to trust that their explicit claim of “Free shipping on all blankets”. This is nothing short of a lie. They know it, and you should know it too. A blanket advertised and sold for £174.30 arrives in due course. Only AFTER you have signed for it will you then receive the text from FedEx requiring you to pay the additional £48.14. The company reply to any complaint saying that you should reject the parcel, and thereby prompt a refund, but know full well that you cannot recoup your full outlay. It is dishonest, knowingly deceitful, and exploitative. Do not but from such pond life.

Dec 30,2022Very poor service blanket never delivered. Ordered 13th October 2022 for a birthday present for 28th October. Many emails back and forth as by the beginning of December the blanket still had not been delivered. Every email promised delivery soon, no tracking number or delivery date was ever provided. Eventually they stopped answering emails. No communication at all no blanket delivered. I put the payment into dispute with my credit card. Not heard anything since. Bought a weighted blanket from John Lewis online click and collect had the blanket within two days. Avoid this company they are not based in the UK and do not deliver blankets.

Dec 03,2024Told it would arrive in 3 - 7 business days. It’s been two months and nothing. Contacted the company twice, no reply. Clearly not a real company and just using the name “Gravity Blankets” to lure unsuspecting victims.
