Dec 19,2022Pretend to be a uk company then hit their customers with huge vat bills from Poland. I ordered 2 blankets and mine comes to over £80. I will be taking them to a small claims court to get this back.

Dec 16,2022Horrible company. Ordered in September and never arrived. Have been asking for a refund for months. They have repeatedly lied to me and won’t give me my money back! Don’t order from them! Edit: interesting that there is always an excuse but still no solution given or even apology. I’ve asked for a refund many times now.

Feb 25,2022The company’s website states “The given price does not include duty fees”. The site also makes clear that the blankets are made in Poland and other EU countries. On this basis one would expect to pay UK VAT and Customs Duty. What one would not expect is that the VAT included in the price is VAT charged by the company at the UK rate of 20% against a Polish VAT number, when the export VAT rate in Poland is zero. In effect customers have to pay twice for VAT at the UK rate, once to the company and once to the UK courier. The company has refused to address this issue, simply seeing it as matter for the customer to resolve with the courier company. A very disappointing experience. CAVEAT EMPTOR

Aug 13,2021Deceitful. Months after delivery received invoice for taxes and duties from TNT. The website leads you to believe based in UK, not at all, based in Poland. Even stated free delivery. Deep in T&Cs in very small print is the actual truth

Jul 12,2021I really wish I’d read the reviews here before purchasing. I read a number of positive articles from UK publications and did not realise the products were made in the EU and therefore subject to an import fee. This amounted to £56 in unexpected fees, almost a third of the total of the goods purchased. There is no way I would have bought from this company if I were aware of this. Upon querying the charge Gravity were quick to point out where on the website this information is contained. However, the onus is on the customer to look for this. There is no reason to go looking for unexpected additional fees. I can see from numerous reviews here that they are aware of this issue, but they seem to be more concerned with being technically correct rather than providing a positive customer experience.

Jun 28,2021BUYER BEWARE. this is not a UK company, even though it does y prices in GBP & has a UK address. FedEx will send you a customs &tax invoice 6 weeks later for over a third of the cost as they add £20 on top for admin. Gravity blankets don't care that they hide this in their shipping page! It should be clear at check out that you will be receiving an invoice weeks after return limit it up! They are hiding behind the BREXIT fiasco when they could just be up front about costs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU LIVE IN THE UK. Buy the same quality blanket from a company that has included ALL costs in their qoute!

Jun 21,2021UK BUYERS BEWARE! You will be charged a customs/VAT/carrier admin fee now that the UK is no longer in the EU. Our order of £149 attracted an extra £84 charge! This wasn't at all clear when placing the order through the Gravity Blanket website. If you don't pay the additional fees, you will be chased by a debt collection company with a robust approach to getting their payment. I have written to Gravity Blankets suggesting that their website and order process is made clear and transparent about the additional charges. No reply sadly.

Jun 18,2021I too fell for the “.co.uk” website. I was ‘hit’ with a massive VAT bill after three months. Despite searching their site I could not find any mention of the charge. If it’s there then it’s hidden somewhere. So what was NOT an inexpensive product I have paid an extortionate price. They are obviously aware of this, assuming they read these reviews. This is an extremely underhand practice. Why otherwise would they use a uk domain?

May 25,2021Do not care about existing customers! I bought a blanket with an all year cover. I found this too warm so i have been looking at the summer cover. £69 for a cover for a single bed sized blanket. If you look at the bundles, to add both covers it adds £20. I raised this with customer service, asking why a simple cotton cover can cost so much. They fobbed me off saying their blankets were superior made, here's 10% off. Taking advantage of existing customers and customer service are abrasive and poor. Wouldnt buy from them again, ill be looking elsewhere

I ordered in October and have been chasing up- I’ve received nothing to date. I just got a crazy email from them this morning - and they’re still trading. Don’t buy!!! Dear xx As a Polish manufacturer of Gravity Blankets, we have received information that not all of you have received your orders or have been refunded as per your request. We believe we owe you an explanation. In 2021, we signed a contract and gave exclusive sales rights to an outer company to run our sales platform within the UK. Until November 16, 2022, the owner and operator of the Gravity UK online store was a British company called Lady Lime Ltd. This very company collected the money for your orders and as we have recently found out, has not fulfilled them so far. Lady Lime Ltd. is responsible for concluding the contract with you and at the same time delivering the goods. On the 16th of November 2022, we have terminated our cooperation with Lady Lime Ltd. We did all in our power to fulfil all the pending orders that got stuck due to the lack of settlements with the above-mentioned company with us. For over two weeks now we are tried to recover the debt from the above-mentioned company and at the same time lead to the shipment of your orders or reimbursements.
