Oct 12,2021Steve has done a number of jobs since we call him for the first time earlier this year: plumbing, small electrics, hanging shelves, decorating, wallpaper hanging and TV wall mounting. He is our go to person for all works at home and we could not recommend him more. If you want someone that will assess what the problem is, give you options, explain you why, what are the cons, etc.. rather than 'you need to paint the whole house' 'this will cost you hundreds but not sure if will solve the problem' Steve is your man.

Jul 14,2021Had a built in fridge door that was broken and needed replacing, was tricky to do because the fridge manufacturer said it wasn’t a job for one of their technicians, so I searched high a low for some to do the job, Steve arrived promptly and fixed it with a sensible approach and good value too. Recommended!

Jun 21,2021I had a faulty toilet that was in need of some timely tlc. To cut a long, somewhat protracted story short, I encountered numerous tradesmen who either weren't interested in repairing my loo or who were exorbitantly expensive. Steve was excellent, quick to respond, dealt with a potentially challenging repair at very reasonable cost. I warmly recommend him and,to that end, I will avail myself of his services for further maintenance issues in my home.

Jun 10,2021Really recommend Steve. Have used him a couple of times now for a variety of jobs, eg putting curtain rails up, flatpack furniture together and hanging pictures and mirrors. Really nice guy, reliable and friendly and gets the job done to good standard. Will definitely use Steve again for other work

Feb 10,2021Great guy! Despite awful weather and heavy snow Steve still arrived as planned to install our new washer dryer. It wasn’t easy due to the tight space available, but nonetheless he persevered until it was done. Was here twice as long as he’d planned to be and did a great job! He left everything tidy and fitted the blinds as requested. I would highly recommend Steve. He’s professional, punctual, friendly and did a great job.

Aug 27,2020Steve was very professional and did an amazing job installing several items for us, including 2 large mirrors, 2 shelving units, and a radiator cover. He worked quickly and only charged for the time worked (rather than what I had booked which I thought would take much longer to complete). We didn't have any screws and fixings and he used his own so it was great to not have to worry about that. I have used task rabbit and other apps to try and find the best person for job, and if like me you haven't had much luck before, you should definitely contact Steve. We won't be going anywhere else for jobs we need done around the house.

Mar 12,2020I booked Steve to fix a tricky problem with my back door, where the bottom of the frame had rotted and damp coming through into my kitchen wall. Not only did Steve do a thorough job with the frame he studied the original cause. Then he went and brought some material to apply to bottom of the door to stop a recurrence. This is the third time I've booked Steve for various jobs. He is very resourceful, reliable, cost-effective and pragmatic.

Oct 01,2019I initially called Steve for hanging some shelves in a room. He is prompt, polite and efficient. He did the job to desired standards and at reasonable price. When I needed him again for changing locks and handles of internal doors, he turned up to look at, bought material as needed with our agreement and did the Job excellently. Steve is now our handyman for any small jobs. Recommend Steve highly.
