Hamper box of 6 bottles of wine arrived as a three sided hamper box…. One of the wooden sides completely broken off. Suddenly now becomes my problem to sort out damaged goods, a gift that can’t now be given in its state of arrival. Inferior products used for expensive prices charged. It was made clear on the initial call that the unilaterally decided solution was not acceptable, and no alternative was being offered. It was only following my review here, did Hay Hampers get in contact again, with s much more proactive solution. Pleased to say it has been resolved effectivrly but only after a review on here. However, given it has been resolved, i have upgraded the overall rating.

Ordered a hamper for a friend and it arrived on the date I chose, she seemed very happy with the content and I would happily order again.

Received a nice looking hamper for father's day. 2 great beers and basically bread sticks bag of crisps tiny bag of salami wafer thin. Salami sausage. Lots of packaging including polystyrene curls and really solid box with at least 8 metal disks and corresponding magnets hidden in box walls. Making recycling almost impossible. Come on Hay Hampers have a thought for the environment please. Also content was a little bland.

Unlike other people, the Hamper was delivered on time. It was a gift off my Niece. What a terrible disappointment. The Hamper was not worth £20 let alone the £50 she had spent of her hard earned money. It was full of out of date crisps, biscuits and savouries. those not out of date were rubbish. It also had the tiny bottle of gin which she no doubt thought was bigger. I've had to ask her not to send from Hays again.

Our Hamper was due to be delivered 09/12/23, today is the 23/12/23 and still no hamper. I was assured and reassured on several occasions that it would be delivered but they continuously blamed the delivery company and refused to take personal responsibility. No compensation offered, just a refund. This was a gift to say thank you, not Christmas, so now that's been ruined

I ordered two hampers in november for delivery 21st Dec. I never received email confirming delivery and when I called office they said it would be delivered in time for christmas. Both hampers were intended as birthday presents so now have missed that. Very shoddy, I wish I had read these reviews first. Won't use again.

My step mother bought a £125 hamper as an extravagant Christmas present for someone and chose the "deliver before Christmas" option. She was given a window of 1st - 20th December that it would arrive... Well it's the 20th today, no reply to any emails she's sent, no dispatch email... She called customer service this evening and she got hung up on mid conversation, just as it turned 5pm which is when their phone line closes... Not a coincidence, just an unhelpful customer service rep. Avoid this company at all costs.

Absolutely awful company. I ordered beginning of November for mid December delivery. Email confirmation received. Delivery date came and went with no contact from company. Order still showing as processing. Every time I call I am told it will be with me tomorrow! Tomorrow never comes! Now trying to get my money back and that’s just as difficult! If I could give no stars I would!

Imagine a hamper company that cannot arrange delivery of Christmas Hampers before Christmas - well that is HayHampers. We ordered a hamper as a present in November and it was due for delivery on 16 December. It was not sent and no delivery could be offered before 23 December, which was too late for the intended recipient as they were visiting family. Useless.

AVOID I ordered of them for the first time on the 6/11/22 received an email confirmation the hamper was due for delivery on the 16/12/22 I never received an update from them I called was promised it would be despatched that day but no it is the 17/12 and it I have no idea what is going on. Meant to be a Christmas present for my Dad. Use a trusted company there is no customer service at Hay Hampers, I will no doubt spend January trying to get a refund. AVOID TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

**NO GIFT CARDS** They sent out all of our corporate gifts out with no gift cards so our clients had no idea who had sent it. Kind of took the shine off sending out an expensive hamper.

Wish I had read the reviews on here. Rubbish service, was not delivered on the chosen date so recipient didn’t receive the gift. Arrogant and unapologetic response to my contact. Not happy

Received this lovely taste tingling hamper from my sister all the way in prague for my Birthday. Was suprised of the gifts inside. Beautiful cleverly designed magnet hamper box. Cant wait to open all the delights. Thanks

Really disappointed!! Ordered a hamper for my mum's 85th birthday for her to take away on a self-catring holiday with her friend the next day. No hamper arrived. When I complained they said she wasn't in to sign for it and gave a time when the van was there - she was in the house at that time. They said they had sent me a text message with a 1 hour time slot - they did not. They then said they could re-deliver once my mum had come back off holiday but the perishables would be ruined (we are in a heatwave). They have offered a refund alternative -10%.... Really not happy!!

Recently received one for my 60th Birthday.. Only five products in it.. On the box it stated out of date march 2022..its now June 22..there was a Xmas gift in it.. I had to throw everything away. The person who bought it for me was furious as reaching a mile stone in my life he wanted me to have something special. I think they finally refunded after first possibly trying not too.. Evidence had to be sent before they reached an agreement. The goods must have been sitting in the box a very long time. They should meticulously check dates on stock.

This is the 2nd time i have received a Hamper and both times they have arrived after Christmas, this year I choose the Afternoon Tea Hamper, Out of 11 items only 6 were what they should have been and the other 5 were substitues. the Subs are in no way the same as what should have been in there.

Never used hay hamper before and will probably never use again communication is lacking even when you have to chase them about dispatch of hampers purchase 4 no emails the day before as t&c say the day after instead,as these were presents for friends it's great to give people a bit of notice haven't had any feedback on quality yet but let's hope it's better than communication and delivery.
