So helpful, professional and quick with his responses, he was on top of everything from the get go, chased whoever needed to be chased and most importantly made mine and my husband’s dream come true of getting us a mortgage so we can buy our first home for us and our children, we would recommend this company to anyone! Could never thank Gerard enough for all his hard work!

Nov 13,2024I never thought I’d be writing this review while sitting in my new home and it’s all thanks to Gerard. He was very efficient and very very patient, his work ethic is top notch. We had given up hope of ever securing our first home but Gerard made the impossible, possible. He has made our dreams come true and we couldn’t be more thankful. He deserves recognition and more for his dedication and great service. We are happy customers that will return back just for him.

Throughout the whole process Gerard couldn’t do enough for us. He responded to queries quickly and explained everything in detail and clearly. Apr 09,2024I came across Henry James Mortgages online back in December 2023 and completed the questionnaire on the evening thinking it will be at least a few days before I got any response... how wrong was I!! Gerard had emailed me back 5 minutes later with every response to what I had sent. Fast forward to January, Gerard had managed to secure our first Mortgage approval. We have now completed and moved into our first ever brought home and this would not be possible without Gerard!! From late night emails keeping us up to date with everything, and even sending our approval over late night - Gerard has been nothing but amazing throughout!! 100% recommend Gerard and Team and have hope for when our mortgage is up for renewal :)

Feb 16,2024I'm sure this is a great company but when it comes down to finances you wanted someone who you can't trust I arranged a call with Gerard who promised to give me a call and never did and also never came back to me This isn't so much of a big deal but when you shuffle your busy schedule around to make time to speak with someone who who as promised to call you it really grinds my gears

Jan 26,2024I don't think without Gerard I would be completing today. I've been told before I reached out to him that my chances of getting a mortgage are slim and no one really wanted to help me. Since the day I have reached out to him he did everything he could to get me on that property ladder. As a first time buyer I had no clue about anything and he took his time to explain every single detail to me and made sure I am happy with everything before taking further steps. It took a very long time due to a few reasons but he didn't give up and managed to obtain a mortgage offer for me. As mentioned before I am completing today and without him that would be impossible! Thank you so much Gerard, for your patience with me and for everything you have done to help me get to where I am now! You have been amazing!

Sep 24,2022I've just had my full mortgage offer after many attempts to try and secure a mortgage through other brokers. Because my case is a little more complex and being a single parent with two dependents my options were limited. I came across Gerard on the Internet and if I hadn't have found him we wouldn't have been moving into our new home very soon. Gerard was on the ball from day one of speaking to him. He understood my circumstances and matched me with a lender that was right for me. Every single email I sent him he relied within minutes. He took all my stress away and gave me hope that turned into reality. I still can't belive this has happened and we finally have a home of our own. I can't thank Gerard for all he has done to help me get onto the property ladder. Sep 03,2022Gerard secured my first mortgage 4 years ago when others had closed the door and has recently secured my remortage with another firm. Unlike other firms, you truly feel you are the only one he is helping - very personable, always ensuring you are updated and his tenacity to suceed on your behalf is commendable. I will continue to use henryjamesmortgages. A very well deserved 5 stars.

High street lender would not secure me a mortgage and that's when i turned to Henry James Mortgages. I was appointed Gerard and right from the start he left me feeling i was in good hands. communication skills and response to questions were outstanding and i can not recommend Gerard and this company enough.

Brilliant friendly service, with everything explained and communicated by Gerard. Cannot thank him enough. Definitely the best option if you are looking to obtain a mortgage as my previous experience with a bank sorting things took 6 months which made me anxious. No anxiety this time and I will definitely use HJM in the future.
