Feb 03,2022Would highly recommend Henry James Mortgages. After dealing with 2 other mortgage advisors and getting nowhere! I did a panic Google Search and found Henry James....I sent an email and got a reply straight away, I then had a mortgage offer the next day! Prompt replies an excellent communication. Everything that could possibly go wrong with buying a house... I seem to tick every single box throughout the process, what should have been very straight forward purchase ended up turning into a nightmare! Gerard was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process and I'm pleased to say myself and my 2 girls pick up the keys to our new home tomorrow this means so much more than just a roof over our heads! Thanks Gerard for remaining calm, staying positive, and putting up with the endless questions and phone calls! Thanks Gerard you really did go the extra mile.

Aug 17,2021Excellent service from start to finish. Prompt communication, knowledgeable, and very fast( mortgage agreement in principle provided in couple days). Gerard Lavin understood exactly what we needed. He explained to us the entire process very clear, answered to all our questions, and he was always available on the end of a phone. Gerard has been truly phenomenal, we can't thank him enough. I would highly recommend Henry James Mortgages.

Jul 28,2021As a first time buyer the process of finding a mortgage and the whole home buying process seemed very overwhelming, but Gerard made it much easier! He explained to us clearly how everything worked, and what our options were. He was always on the end of a phone when we needed him and even continued to give us support and advice throughout the whole home-buying process. We couldn't have done it without him! A friendly and reassuring presence in what would have been a confusing experience!

May 12,2022Ok so where do I start? Gerard Lavin at Henry James Mortgages has been phenomenal during this process. His communication is impeccable which is so important when you are trying to obtain a mortgage in a timely manner. He was always reassuring and never made us feel that we were asking too many questions. We successfully obtained a mortgage through Henry James Mortgages and we’re just waiting for completion. We’ve already recommended Gerard to friends and family, and will continue to do so. We look forward to using him again for future purchases!
