May 28,2019Everything started when I saw an add to become a HGV driver . This is something that I had previously thought about but never got round to actually applying . Not having any job at that moment, I thought this is the perfect time, especially as there seem to be plenty of vacancies for class 1 drivers. I’ve made a good searching on google and a long lists of training companies came up. They all had very mixed reviews so I phoned a few. The one that stood out was the SPECIALISED HGV Training company. I Talked with them, and they seemed to understand that I needed to get cracking with the course asap, as I was currently unemployed and to be honest bored. So I paid and they set the ball rolling .Have to admit this is quite an achievement. The SPECIALISED HGV Training company were absolutely superb. I couldn't asked for any more help or support . Top people who go the extra mile and really want to see you succeed . Cant thank them enough. Now I’m currently working for a very big company trough them. I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you again SPECIALISED HGV.

May 27,2019I was working as a bus and coach supervisor. I enjoy driving so I decided to take the next step and recently passed my HGV Class 1 /2 licenses. I assumed I could then walk into a new job but found it very hard. It is difficult to find a job as most companies look for experienced drivers because of insurance. HGV recruitment run a new driver programme which I was accepted onto and have successfully gained myself a new career with an established company. They have given me the opportunity to gain the experience I needed to further my career. HGV recruitment have been very helpful every step of the way. I strongly recommend this program to new drivers.

The whole year was a relentless search for positions, which were always "we want experience ". I recieved a call from Cristiana at hgv recruitment and 3 weeks later driving class 1, thank you hgv recruitment.

Mar 14,2019I was a warehouse operative working through an agency before i became a Hgv driver. I was looking for a way to earn more money and have more secure work. After getting both class 1 & 2 licences, i looked for work for some time but had nothing consistent, especially when i passed my class 1. I was temping on the agency for a few months until i saw an advert from HGV Recruitment saying that they were looking for newly qualified drivers. The guys i spoke to were great, easy going and made things quick and easy. Within 2 weeks i was having my assessment for a temp to perm role with a good company. Since i started the role, i got the training i needed and now I'm out on the road, and couldn't be happier.

Mar 07,2019I was a factory worker before I decided to get my HGV license, I always wanted to become a professional driver but struggled to get a first driving job as most companies want experienced drivers only That's where HGV Recruitment Centre came in to help. They offered me my first job with the first 2 weeks being trained in the classroom and out with another driver doing the daily job which comes in very good use being a new driver. HGV Recruitment have been very supportive and always there to help. I highly recommend going to then for any type of HGV job as they are specialised in this field of work. I have been in my new job for 3 weeks now and enjoying it Easy day is different which I really like about it

I decided to give them a go being new and nervous about driving class 1 vehicles and it is the best decision I have made. Highly recommend. I am now due to be employed after my probation by one of the biggest companies out there.

Mar 04,2019I was a Business Manager for McDonald's and decided I wanted a change in career and got my HGV licence. I was finding it really difficult to find a company that would take on brand new drivers. Then HGV recruitment contacted me and let me know about a great driving opportunity which was specifically for new drivers and would provide all of the training I needed. The scheme has worked really well, I have been supported and had all the sufficient training required to really progress in the role. HGV recruitment really provide a great opportunity and want to see you succeed.

Mar 03,2019I was working as a self-employed private hire taxi driver. It was a good experience and I enjoyed being my own boss. But I also missed the time with my family as more I worked, more I earned. I remember working nearly 50-60 hrs a week to reach my target. One day I picked up a client who was an HGV driver. I was very impressed with the information and experience he shared. I felt this may be the job I want to experience. When I was back home I used to own 15-ton truck and used cover when the driver was off and I used to enjoy driving. So, I started my training and passed my HGV class II licence but did not work because I wanted to complete class I as well. I thought my hard time is over, but finding a job was another challenge. I applied for the job in various places but all declined because I did not have experience. I started to worry and made me feel that my money is wasted. I continued looking for a job and one day I found the job advert from HGV recruitment for newly qualified driver. It gave me some hope and I applied. They were very quick in replying and very supportive throughout the recruitment process. The team was in touch with me reassuring me everything is OK. Now I am working in one of the reputed companies. It was a challenge at first but I am becoming comfortable and enjoying this job. I can now gain experience and further progress in my career. Feb 27,2019I have recently passed my HGV Class 2 licence and was finding it difficult to find a job without experience. I found this new driver programme through HGV recruitment and have successfully (with excellent training provided by a big logistics company) gained myself a new career with a very well-established company! Really happy I can now gain the experience I need to further my career progress. HGV recruitment have been very helpful along the way, I definately recommend this programme to new drivers!

Feb 25,2019I had been working for a company doing 7.5 ton work for the past 3 years, but there was no way for me to advance in my career, so I decided to book my class 1 and class 2 tests and become a hgv driver as I love driving. The theory test was very hard but I worked hard and passed 1st time. Then on to my practical tests. Class 2 I found easy and passed my class 1 was ok but took 2 attempts but I finally got there. When I was looking for work I was finding that most companies wanted at least 1 years experience to witch I was starting to worry, then I seen the ads for hgv recruitment for newly qualified drivers, I applied and within a week I had a interview for a big supermarket chain and I am now on a temp to perm contract and loving it. Feb 22,2019I have worked as a Class 2 driver but for the last few years I have worked as a PCV driver. After working very long hours on the buses I decided enough is enough and made a decision that I wanted to change my career and go back to the HGV's. But i wanted more and therefore at my own expense put in for my Class 1. I enjoyed the training school, the course was informative and thorough but with it being 1 on 1 I found this helped. When I passed my Class 1 test first time I was over the moon, but then started to get a little disheartened while looking for Class 1 employment as all the firm's ask for experience, but then as I was looking online I noticed a bold advertisement for Newly Passed/Qualified Class 1 Drivers with HGV Recruitment Agency. So I did not hesitate and applied after sending my CV, a few emails and phonecalls later I am booked in for an assessment for a major nationwide company. This is nothing to worry about they are looking to see whether you need extra training. With myself I passed this and within a week I am now employed with HGV Recruitment on a temp to perm basis. Once you start you get the training and most importantly the support you need to succeed in your new career. You have 4 days in the classroom with your Induction and CPC courses and then you go out with a Driver to see what the job is all about. Then in your second week you are with a Mentor who is there to build your confidence. They will give you what training and support you need, some drivers will be more confident than others but you have 3 weeks or even 4 if needed out with a mentor. Once you are happy and your mentor is happy you have another assessment and then you are on your own.

Dec 07,2018Totally unreal customer service flawless, clear,concise, efficient to the extreme , still cant believe the efficiancy and professionalisam on all levels from Jake Saunders, I dreaded looking for a job with all the bull from the first phone call, the lies the not being able to get hold of anyone or pay lies or yes temp to perm fiction! Monday pick up the phone talk to Jake, Wednesday full time job great pay great people great conditions You told me any of the above 2 weeks ago id have you committed! Or wonder what you were on! Totally cant thank you enough
