Dec 04,2023I spent quite some time researching cool boxes and Icey-Tek had consistently good reviews, and it seemed to be the ‘go-to’ box for all the fishermem, so I felt quietly confident that I’d made the right decision; plus compared with the other well known brands Icey-Tek are decidedly cheaper. Despite my efforts to carefully measure which box to buy I made a mistake, and as soon as it arrived I realised that once it was full it would be too big to move around easily. I contacted Icey Tek to ask if I could return it for a smaller one, and I found their customer service excellent, they happily agreed to take the box back for a refund. I organised the return with Parcelforce which was simple and not too expensive. I have just tried my new box for the first time and I’m absolutely thrilled with it. After 52 hours my frozen blocks of dog food were as if they’d just come out the freezer, and my other items all remained nicely chilled. Some of my smaller ice packs had melted, although the bigger ones remained solid. Going forward I think I should probably invest in some bigger blocks, but apart from that I am chuffed to bits. Finally, the box appears to be really well made and feels like it’ll last for many years. All in all I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Nov 15,2023This is the first of a 2 part review. The reason is myself and friends have had some terrible experiences with wheeled cool boxes from Colman and Igloo. 2 trips and handles rust and seize, wheels seize and by the 5th or 6th trip the handle snaps from the rust! This box looks a totally different kettle of fish though. Steel handle and wheels on a steel bar. Only had 1 trip so far, was washed downed, been out in the rain but no signs of any rust anywhere. Everything about this box is high quality as you'd expect from Icey-Tek. Fingers crossed this stays 5 star after 6 months. If it is 5 star still after that time, I'll tell you about the many great features of this box. At the moment, I just want the handle in 1 piece and the wheels to keep turning! 2nd Review It's now 3rd May 2024 I love this box! I love Icey-Tek! Thank you Luke for the great support you've provided. The handle broke on the box, but this time not the manufacturers fault but mine. Luke sent out a new one super quick and it's back like new. In all this time, after all the abuse, still no rust, no fault with the wheels or the handle apart from what I did (and I think it's repairable!) the box is brilliant. The BEST cool box on wheels I've EVER bought, by a LOOOOOOONG stretch. Colman and Igloo can stick their boxes where the sun don't shine, if you're reading this boys come to my place and take a look how it should be done. In the words of spinal tap this box is an 11.
