May 04,2022They charged an origination fee on a loan that was already existing. This amounted to a charge of more than 10% on the existing balance. This was not a new draw. I was on target to pay off the balance in 10 weeks at the agreed upon weekly payment. Had I known in advance I would have delayed re-applying for 10 weeks.

Apr 12,2022The underwriting process was super cumbersome from start to finish. Underwriting would ask for something and I would provide. They would ask for more and I would provide. They wouldn't stop so I had to tell them I wouldn't submit anymore until they provided me with a final list. After my loan was funded I received a call from Idea Financial who was friendly. I signed all the paperwork but realized the amount Idea rep mentioned was not the limit I was given. All the paperwork had to be sent again and even then it wouldn't come through. Several days of back and forth until finally the document was there to sign. If I had it to do again, I don't think I would have gone through all of that for a LOC that has pretty high interest rate anyway.
