DO NOT GO WITH ILETPRO/BESTE JEFFERS. Had a really traumatic time with them for 2 years. Asked them to change our mouldy carpets multiple times and they never did. Poor communication, can’t get hold of them with any issues regarding the house.They dont even have an office or atleast at the time of our residancy making it hard to even contact them
They took more than 10 BUSINESS DAYS to return our deposit. Furthermore your deposit is NOT INSURED I repeat NOT INSURED. They do everything in personal accounts. They change their name and trading name to avoid legal agreements therefore making your money a liability. STAY AWAY FROM ILETPRO AND BESTE JEFFERS I REPEAT STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!
ILET PRO & BESTE JEFFERS These 2 are the worst and most UNPROFESSIONAL landlords I have ever dealt with. If you are a student you are better of paying £100-200 a month MORE than the prices these guys offer.. why? Let me start of with the living conditions they will find every way and anything in their power to avoid costs hence why when boilers break down, heating stops, carpets get mouldy they will NOT replace it. Furthermore, when you try to contact them GOOD LUCK! In fact contacting them is one thing and finding their office is another.. if you visit the GOV website on BESTE Jeffers you will find all the info you need, from firing their directors to CHANGING THEIR OFFICE ADDRESSES 3 TIMES IN 1 YEAR! This meant during our tenancy period we could NOT find them. Lastly, we contacted the COUNCIL to find a solution and even the council COULD NOT get through to them. Stay away from Chinese Landlords they are cheap and very very unprofessional making your student/work life more harder than it has to be. To the person reading this please stay away honestly.
STAY AWAY FROM ILETPRO I’ve been a long time landlord with them. Their service level plummeted around 2022 with absolutely no response nor responsibilities. They kept changing their trading names, BESTE, Coco&Co. This should have been a red flag for me how poor their experience has been.
unfortunately even though I saw bad reviews the housing market is insane and I took what I could get. Starting off strong, I had to travel into the country side of bristol just to get contact with them to rent the house, and to send over a deposit as I didn't want to loose it but no one would reply to me. Same drama as everyone else has said, lack of communication, trying to charge me £180 for cleaning in a house that I had cleaned top to bottom and extra for painting when id painted and plastered the entire house throughout my tenancy as it was such a poorly maintained property. its a shame because the landlord seemed nice at the start but tbf when you start asking for things to change and he gives you to paint to change it yourself , it probably should have been a red flag. Still waiting on deposit and now filing for a claim, rather pointless and stressful. They also changed their name to BESTE LETTINGS at the end of the tenancy and received ones from COCO & CO too.
STAY AWAY!!! Caused my housemates and i so much stress and hassle, before we moved out we were getting two to three emails a week reminding us of rent, then we moved out on the 4th of august they stopped emails, changed their company name to beste jeffers. I went into the office they said they’d email…. they didn’t. I have been on hold for the past two weeks trying to find ur deposit and the company we’re with. Company have a habit of changing their name, be careful.
Stay away from ILETPRO I am a tenant of a property managed by ILETPRO, I have left the property now at end of tenancy. No one has been in touch for the handover of keys even though I gave them 1 month notice. Now they are ghosting me, not returning my email and not handling refund of deposit. They are changing their business name now to beste-jeffers. So beware.
HORIFFIC. left almost a month without hot water. agents never respond despite over 20 phones calls and numerous emails. property was not in the agreed state when the contract was taken on. STAY AWAY. This company should not be operating.
DO NOT RENT WITH ILETPRO!!!! (Dirty, moldy, terrible communication, all the agents left, won't fix furniture, ignore emails, violate tenancy agreement) They are absolutely atrocious and shouldn't be operating as a letting agency. We signed a tenancy agreement that clearly stated end of tenancy cleaning & mainteinance would be done. They were not. When we moved in: - there was a hole in the ceiling plaster in one of the bedrooms that came crashing down on the first night - There was black mold that had grown through the plasterboard in the kitchen that took 3 months for Iletpro to deal with - The boiler wasn't working and we didnt have hot water; didn't get fixed for about a week - There was trash all over the front/back garden (and I mean piles of it) - There were items left over by previous tenants, including used q-tips and hair in the desks. Not covid safe at all. - There was no carbon monoxide alarm fitted till last week (4 months into the tenancy) - All surfaces were sticky with dust and walls have very visible blue-tac marks on them - There is a wasp nest in one of the sheds Currently: - We are told the broken couch won't be fixed because since we put a box underneath it, it's 'stable' - We are told that bedroom mold and the black ooze coming out of the oven aren't a risk to our health so they will not be sorted, even though all of this was there before we moved in The company's communication is horrendous. Unanswered emails, calls, texts etc. We had two agents leave in the last couple of months - they were both lovely and tried to help us to get the agency to fix the problems, but they all left the agency very quickly, probably because they can't handle the mess that is Iletpro. We weren't notified of their departure. For reference, one of our housemates is asthmatic and it took the agency 3 months to deal with the mold in the kitchen. Avoid this agency like wildfire. We are still dealing with problems/fixes 4 months into our tenancy because the agency doesn't want to answer emails or calls. One of the agents told us that a few other houses are facing similar issues and demanding compensation as we are, so we are not an isolated case. Literally let with anyone else!!
Absolutely horrific - STAY AWAY! They have changed their name from rentalist to iletpro (I assume because of its awful reputation and reviews) but is still run by the same people and everyone needs to know how awful they are so that no one else falls into their trap. They gave the house to us unclean and with missing door handles, leaks throughout the house, black mould growing behind the wallpaper, as well as a rat infestation. When we complained about faults they would either ignore us (they often dodged calls and read and ignored texts and emails) or try to put the blame on us saying we “had too much stuff” or that rats were just normal and “everyone has them”. When the fire alarm kept going off every 5 minutes because of being waterlogged due to a leak in the ceiling they said it was because we didn’t change a battery in it. When they did come to fix things they would send over friends of theirs who would let themselves in unannounced and do botch jobs that left the house worse off, dangerous, and would break again in a week or so. They didn't communicate with the landlord to tell him the issues with the house and he apparently knew nothing of the state of the multiple leaks from the bathroom and the rain. There was no fire safety in the house for three months, and no bathroom to wash ourselves for two and a half weeks during the first lockdown. They then threatened to "ruin our lives" and illegally evict us during the lockdown as we couldn't pay all of the rent upfront when we had 1: agreed to have a rent break seeing as half the residents lost their jobs in the pandemic, and 2: said we were within our rights to withhold money when the conditions were so awful and landlord broke contract. They had two improvement notices from the council that they didn't comply with and the house was deemed “unliveable” by the council. One of our housemates told them he was moving out due to the bad conditions and discussed rent payments and other details with someone over email. The company then claimed this person we had been speaking to had no authority to make these decisions and apparently didn't work there for more than a few days? We ended up all leaving a month early mainly due to their awful service and we heard from our landlord, other house owners, and tradesmen that came to the house that they screw over everyone they are hired to help or manage.
iletpro were very helpful in helping us to find a property to rent in Bristol as well as providing clear and frequent email correspondence. The staff in the office were also excellent and the gentleman I spoke to on several occasions over the phone was equally as helpful as he provided clear direction and advice when I was unable to visit the property in person.
Started off good, sent our details but then communication shut down for a month, I had to email a lot to get updates and get mixed replies and some replies took ages. After getting a different email communication picked back up

Dec 07,2024Avoid at all costs! Betse Jeffers-iletpro don’t follow the law. They refused to return all the deposit despite this being illegal. Took 6 months to get it fully back. Something very dodgy going on with repeatedly changing the person dealing with the property, changing name/bank accounts.
