May 09,2024Just bought two bottles of color club crystal ball nail polish, put it on, looked at it, O.m.f.g and w.t.f. how they pulled that one off , I don't know. If you haven't tried it, then believe me, you've got to. Never seen anything like it , and I've been around since the 60s lol. But seriously, thank you , to jk London for an incredible product and I'd thank the manufacturer if I knew who they are. Well done to all and thank you ❤️

May 07,20242x 100ml Holbein acrylic inks had been tampered with - the security plastic wrap seal had been cut away around the nib and around where the cap meets the bottle neck, and the seal sticker on top of the bottle itself was not present. Ink had leaked into the nib area (doesn't happen with new/unopened due to seal, and besides that, the ink wouldn't enter this area until it had been unscrewed and poured the first time). I had to prompt them to reply to my first email, and this is part of their response: "Due to different batches, the manufacturers have used different sealing methods for the bottles. Previous batches would only seal the top part of the cap and later batches have decided to seal the whole bottle." There is no way a high quality company like Holbein would have a raggedy band of cut-off shrink-seal that leaves all 3x sealable areas unsealed and has no purpose whatsoever! JK's reply has ignored the fact that there was no seal at all on both bottles - not on the top part of the cap OR the whole bottle (I made this clear in my email and provided a photo). The only way the bottles I was sent could have been in the condition they are in is if someone had purposely opened them, so I cannot accept these items as brand new and unused and they are now ignoring my (2x) emails requesting instruction for free return postage. UPDATE 13 May in response to JK's response here: "Sorry to hear you had to vent on here" This is a review site, I'm simply stating facts, I'm not as emotionally invested in this as you seem to be implying. "We could get the manufacturer to verify" - no purpose to this comment if you then just say you're not going to do it anyway and it "wouldn't help the situation either". I am 100% confident this is not the condition Holbein would sell their products, so you are half correct in that it wouldn't make a difference to my concerns, but (and I think you know this) Holbein would certainly verify that my concerns are valid if they saw the photos. Finally, there's really no need for any drama, all I'm asking of you is to reimburse return postage and refund the products, very standard and legal practice for any UK company, something I'm not sure why you're so adamant not to do considering my very reasonable concerns with the condition of the products, which for the purpose of this review I will quote from my most recent email to you: "I want to make clear that none of the 3x sealable areas were sealed, and as can be seen in my photos looks as though the shrink wrap has been intentionally cut away at both the nib area and where the lid meets the bottle neck. The third sealable area, which is usually a sticker on top of the bottle itself, was not present. I have concerns from this regarding a) sanitation, b) the effect this has on the life span of the product before it expires/goes bad i.e. not knowing for how long it has been opened, and c) having no way of knowing for what reason the product had been previously opened" P.s. please do not try to contact me by phone again, I only wish to have email correspondence on this matter
