I contacted them to arrange a viewing to buy a flat. They asked for a mortgage in principle or proof of cash(?!?) just to book a viewing! - nonsense and unprofessional More importantly, the person on the phone was entirely rude, unprofessional, patronising and I honestly believe racist. To add to that they were also full of lies saying that all agencies need mortgage in principle to arrange a viewing. - I've personally had several viewings now and in the past without a decision in principle. Maybe they were having a bad day but honestly I would never trust this person and consequently the agency to handle such a transaction for me. If I were someone considering selling or letting with them, I'd stay clear. - hope this reaches people and the agency to improve their service.

The female agent - her customer service is extremely poor and unprofessional, indicating a clear need for additional training. Shame on her! šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøl never meet a local agent like her attitude. omg

I purchased my new flat via Jordan Fishwick in Wilmslow. The agent concerned was extremely diligent and hard working in pursuing the final goal to completion. He worked on behalf of my vendors but I felt that I also had his full support. Bravo RP.

Thank you so much to Richard Peck and the team for all your hard work getting our house sold and navigating the process through to completion. As part of a 10 property chain it was a challenging process and without Richard’s pragmatic approach and being willing to go above and beyond I don’t think our sale/purchase would have gone through. Thanks for all the hard work and patience throughout!

Nothing but praise for William Saunders based at the Wilmslow branch. William worked hard to ensure the purchase went through under extremely challenging time constraints. William kept us informed throughout the process, often challenging others within the chain (including solicitors). I’m certain the chain would have collapsed without Williams interventions.

After 3 years spent in the UK for work, I can definitely say that I'll be leaving behind a piece of my heart in this country, impressed about the British spirit, kindness and lifestyle. hardly ever I've met someone rude for the expection of this company I'm reviewing, and I'm speaking in particular of the branch that covers the Didsbury area in Greater Manchester. As a tenant I've been treated very poorly and I'll give you few examples: 1. they've left me with a broken window during winter for months, 2. I've lived in an apartment with cealing all stained by infiltration due to tenants living above my apartments and due to a very bad weather condition that ruined part of the livingroom ceiling close to the window, and they've never organized repainting, even though we've asked for years.. (and we're talking about a nice apartment in a very nice area in Manchester) 2. disrigarding any kind of decency they've increased rent every year only few days before the end of the contract leaving me with no choice but to renew, it's ok to increase rent, don't get me wrong, but doing it a handful of day before the end of the contract is quite underhand... don't get me wrong, legal, but still, that's the worst part, they'll always find the legal way to screw you over 3. After 3 years, even after proving a long time notice before I was leaving (anticipating the end of the contract of basically 1 month only...) they've exposed to me an absurd exit fee, and a daily rate until the start of a future new tenancy. With that scenario I kindly asked to put the house on the market to not incur in even more costs, but they've replied by saying "no exit fee in advance, no house on the market"... even though I'm leaving the apartment in 2 weeks... I have to say that only "supporting" the landloards is not a good way of doing business and treating people like that is never acceptable. Thank you all for reading, please if you can, don't rent any apartment managed by this company.

First time buyer. Should have been easy but ended up being a very long, drawn out process. Had it not been for the Chorlton branch at Jordon Fishwick (Stuart for the first 5 months and Maura who took over during a difficult exchange & completion) I think we would have given up. We were guided and helped through to a successful conclusion! Would not hesitate in recommending this company.

This Estate Agent (Chorlton branch) allows gazumping after an offer has been accepted and buyer has agreed to proceed. They say they would allow this up to Exchange day! They do not give you the truth of the situation. I had to squeeze the information out of the sales director!! I would not trust this estate agent. Although gazumping is not illegal in the UK, it is completely unethical and professionally unacceptable!

Nobody ever answers the phones. Was contacted via email & voicemail with an offer for a rental property we had applied for, only to have the offer rescinded almost immediately because I was in work & missed the call. I responded to the email offer just 25 minutes after receiving it, only to get a brief response advising that they had already given it to another tenant & it had been accepted. There was absolutely no curtesy of giving us a chance to call back, there was absolutely no attempt made to contact my partner who was also jointly applying with me. I know that the rental market is competitive, but imagine punishing potential tenants for having a job! I have never been treated with such contempt and disrespect by a business.

I am a returning client with Jordan Fishwick and they have yet again impressed me with their tenacity, professionalism and sheer results. After having the property appraised by several agents, I chose to go with Jordan Fishwick as I had a good previous experience with them, plus they have a strong presence in the area. They achieved three asking price offers for me after only three weeks in a tricky market. A huge thanks to Guy and all the sales team in Wilmslow.

Maura and her team at the Chorlton branch helped me sell my property and kept on top of things throughout what was, at times, a very stressful process. I’m very thankful to have reached completion and it was thanks to Maura’s experience, diligence and perseverance that I am where I am, I’ve managed to sell my home to lovely buyers. Thank you!

If I could score zero stars for this company then I would. Total lack of care from a tenants perspective. From a landlords perspective not great either as the workmen they send are not specialist - ie sending a general handyman to paint over damp - it still showed as the paint was runny as water. I couldnt move in on the day I had paid to as the house hadnt been cleaned and the boiler was broken. On move out the experience got worse. The house was left immaculate yet they took £75 to clean the worlds smallest bathroom (only a shower no bath) and £105 to pull up some weeds on the front drive and trim a bush. Terrible experience, made to feel like a 2nd class citizen. AVOID

I have rented with Jordan Fishwick for over a year now they are fantastic at the wilmslow branch everyone you speak to is really helpful and nothing is too much trouble Jordan and Debbie In the letting team are very very good and provide a five star service highly recommended

Disappointing experience with Jordan Fishwick. Took far too long when requesting maintenance, especially the boiler broken over 5 months in winter. Horrible communication (our property manager changed twice). Do not recommend.

We found our current rental property through Jordan Fishwick in Didsbury and the whole process was a breeze!! Alishea was so helpful and friendly and helped us find a gorgeous flat within our price range. We absolutely love it and our faith is restored in bigger letting agents after some pretty horrific past experiences. Thank you Alishea :-) x

I used Jordan Fishwick for letting my house in Didsbury. At all times they responded immediately either by phone or email which is important to me. They are knowledgeable, helpful and courteous at all times. Meghan is extremely efficient and has sorted out any potential problems with speed and competence. I will not hesitate to use this company again for future lettings.

LANDLORDS BEWARE. They treat tenants terribly but most importantly are NOT good property managers. They do not carry out end of tenancy cleaning/repairs (which you assume are done for the amount you pay them) and just hope the new tenant doesn't notice. If the new tenant does notice you are drawn in to battle with them as to who pays for what when these guys should have been sorting this to begin with. The property I was involved with had a bailiff threatening to knock the doors down for a tenant that had left years ago - no help and can only imagine who'd have footed the bill for new doors. I've been a tenant and a landlord for years, I wouldn't go near this bunch ever gain. Also - staff at DIRECTOR level are incapable of handling GDPR issues.

horrible experience with them, I was referred to their agent to take out first time buyer mortgage, would not be of any help to move things forward, simply made seller change his mind about the sale over the fact that we simply were not familiar how the purchase work even though we had the money and everything in place,
