It's been a long time since I dealt with an insurance company by 'phone, rather than (having to do it) online - and Keith Michaels' service is a reminder of what good service is all about. Dealing with a person rather than a form means that answers can be qualified and explained, rather than having to fit into specific categories. Patrick found me the right policy, at the right price. Would highly recommend.

Jun 12,2023Phoned to get a quote and as soon as I told them I was 23 they discriminated me and said they can't insure me cos of my age. I've been driving 4yrs, I've drove vans and cars more than said about most people my age. And younger drivers wonder why they can't get experience on the road cos companies discriminate you and say they can't insure you. Wow 🙄 joke

Jun 10,2023OSpoke with Neil a couple of times and found him very friendly and helpful. I thought quotes were very high but realise my circumstances are a little different to most. Only complaint is that after all our conversations and forms that I’ve sent back regarding me being an expat moving back to England I am still being asked for DVLA ref nos when I keep saying I have a Spanish driving license and will have until I change it back to a UK one.

Jun 09,2023I have used this company a few years for an expensive Aston Martin and I have been very pleased with the service. However, I recently sold the Aston and wanted to change vehicle on the policy, nothing exotic just a VW Transporter. They couldn't do this and said I needed to cancel the Aston and take out a new policy. I quickly got the message that they were no longer interested in me as a customer, I had to call back twice for the promised quote and I felt that the guy dealing with it had a real 'couldn't care less' attitude about insuring me or retaining me as a customer. I therefore went to another insurer. After that, getting my NCB from them wasn't simple and I had to wait a month for a refund on the cancelled policy ? When my new Aston is ready, sorry but I certainly wont be returning to Keith Michaels for cover.
