Sep 11,2021I really love the shoes. I read in a previous review that size are a bit small, and I can confirm that is better to order a size bigger than the one you usually wear. Customer service was really polite and prompt in contacting me.

Aug 21,2021*updated* I originally left a negative review due to a shipping error. My package was held due to a payment issue with the seller. The seller claimed that DHL did not notify them of the shipping issue, and I can say in support of that that DHL did not notify me, either. I only found out by tracking the shipping a week later. When I found out about the issue, I notified the seller, and 24 hours after that left the negative review. For whatever reason, the negative review got a much quicker response than my email. In the end, the seller corrected whatever the issue was and I recieved my package a month after I ordered it. I dont think a month is a long time to wait for something being shipped overseas, but this is something a person ordering a gift might want to take note of. Product review: I ordered a pair of slippers and a pair of boots. Both look great. The sizing, however, is a little off. The boots (size 7) were requested to be wide, and they are as narrow or a bit narrower than other non-wide shoes I have. The sippers, size medium, are said on the website to be fitting for US sizes 7-8, yet they are inches longer than the boots. With all of that said, if these items are durable I will order from this seller again, I will just be very conscious of the sizing discrepancies. In response to reviews I read that spoke negatively about the quality of the shoes, I have to disagree. I think the quality is good and probably better than that of shoes/slippers of the same price bought in a chain store. For example, I was nervous about the fabric on the toe of the boot, as other fabric shoes I have purchased wore out quickly in this area. The boots have a reinforcement (plastic?) Under the fabric at the toe so I do not think this would be an issue. They are not the most durable feeling shoes i have ever had, but again, for the price and knowing that my money has gone directly to the makers, the quality is great. I just hope my issue with width does not cause them to wear out quicker than they normally would.

Aug 11,2021great shoes! but to be honest I think the format of the shoe sole could improove. it is is quite small & petty. the cotton material of the shoe is soft and flexible but with the effect that it grows over the sole which does not really look nice and at the end will not last very long, because of constant preasure... I personally think the the form of the sole should be more round & wider . But still I really enjoy my colourfull shoes....

Sep 15,2021I was stunned by how quickly these shoes arrived via DHL in the middle of the pandemic from Kenya to Denver, CO. The quality was excellent, the colors vibrant, and the interiors softness was the first thing commented on by the recipient as she put them on (birthday gift). I will almost certainly be buying from Kitu Kali for more friends and family.
