Bought the small k-seal bottle for my 4.4v8 Range Rover with a blown head gasket. Unfortunately it didn’t work as described however it did seal a leak on the water pump .It was worth a try for a small amount of money so overall I’m happy. I’m going to try blue devil next

I rarely post product reviews, but am making an exception for K-Seal “Pour & Go”. I own a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder with about 140K miles on it. In good condition for a car that age, but it’s been through MN winters and has some rust on it. Mechanically it has been good up to a coolant leak problem that started a few weeks ago. I had the problem diagnosed by a trusted mechanic who advised that as best he could determine the leak was from “a water outlet pipe between the engine and the firewall". Difficult to pinpoint the leak because it was at the rear of the engine block. The mechanic tried a coolant flush and clean-up of the radiator to address engine temperature issues. This did not seem work and the intermittent small leak developed into an ongoing large leak. Reviewed options with my mechanic and he advised that engine removal to repair the leak was not a viable option with a car of this age. Although the mechanic was hesitant to use a coolant leak repair additive (discussed Barrs) at this point that seemed to be a reasonable next step. After researching on the internet I selected K-Seal based on product reviews. I called in to the K-Seal hotline and was surprised to have a helpful resource (Melissa) available to answer questions and provide additional information. She even emailed detailed product use instructions. I purchased K-Seal’s “Pour & Go” from a local O’Reillys Auto Parts store. The person at the counter also highly recommended “Pour & Go”. I mixed the Pour & Go with coolant and poured directly into the radiator. I then drove the car for about 25 minutes. Initially I experienced fluctuation with the engine temp as indicated by the temperature gauge. However, after about 10 minutes the temp gauge settled down exactly where it should be (and always had been prior to the leak problem). After pulling into my garage I kept a close eye on whether any coolant leaked onto the multiple layers of cardboard that I had on the floor. No leakage at all. I have now driven the car multiple times over the past two weeks (distances up to 40 miles) and the car is operating properly (temperature stable) and continues to not show any kind of coolant leak. My confidence is growing that the fix is permanent and I can depend on my Pathfinder for longer distance travel. A lot of diverse responses on whether using a product like K-Seal is the right way to fix a coolant leak, but for me the K-Seal has provided a really cost effective solution. Well worth giving it a try. All the miles I put on the car from this point on are a bonus from my perspective.

Having purchased a second hand motor from an unscrupulous dealer, I was at my wits end when it broke down 2 days later. My local garage diagnosed a blown head gasket with a chemical test and wanted £1300 for a full gasket repair including skimming the head. The dealer refused outright to refund me under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and left me with what could only be described as a scrap car. Simply not cost effective to repair. I googled head gasket repair, looking for a ray of light somewhere and found K Seal purely by chance. 30 mins later, after a trip to my local motor spares store, i had a working car with no trace of water loss or overheating. K Seal you saved my daughters first car and words cannot describe how much that means. Thank you so much. £1300 for a full head gasket repair or £35 for a bottled life saver? It's a no Brainerd really. I can't recommend this product enough!!

My beloved 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution MR had a small head gasket leak. It would start on 2 cylinders, then after a minute all 4 were firing. Unfortunately the car was nearly undriveable for the first 15 minutes as it would misfire with hardly any throttle. Then one day it wouldn't start. Fearing a $1800 repair, it sat in my driveway for 2 months, while I was saving up, until my mechanic friend came to look it over. He returned the next day with a little blue bottle. Shook it, poured it in and started the car. Same rough start, so let it idle for 20 minutes and went for a QUICK drive. Unbelievably it ran perfectly. Shut it off for a few minutes and restarted perfectly on all 4. It seems to be fine. I'm a believer!

I used k seal 2 months ago to fix a head gasket leak in my son's 08 Toyota forerunner. I followed the instructions and the problem was fixed after a few minutes of driving. I know it was fixed because the car has sensors that let you know when one of the heads has water leaking in it and it sends error codes to the ecu which causes the check engine and several other lights to stay on when you start the motor. The next morning this didn't happen and the car had zero symptoms of the head gasket leak. My son has driven it over 1000 miles. Unfortunately the problem came back last night. I will try it again and see what happens.

I used K seal 3 years ago when nothing else worked it stopped a leak from the water pump. I sprung a leak from a metal heater pipe and first thing I did was buy K-seal again. The stuff works miracles. My car is a 1995 Ford Mustang and I live in the UK so waiting for parts would be a problem. I wouldn't use any other product.

To get your attention. Audi A3 mk 2 having returned from holiday I drove the car for 18min through country lanes and 5miles of motorway. It smelt as thoug the car was damp, then Suddenly the coolant light came on. When I stopped the car I noticed the passenger footwell was wet and smelled like coolant. Sure enough the coolant had leaked out of the heating matrix. I filled the overflow bottle with more coolant and water and drove to the mechanic. He said I should scrap my 16year old car. I followed k seals instructions and poured the stuff directly into the overflow bottle which was near empty when I got home. I ensured the engine was warm, the heater on maximum as well as the fan on maximum. Next day I drove twice as far before the coolant ran low and I replaced it with just water. That night was cold and I needed the heating on, but the car misted up inside so much that I couldn,t see out of the passenger side. When I got home the coolant had fallen from max to min. I topped up again with water. The next day I drove the 18 minutes repeat journey to get my refund. But sadly and yay, no refund because coolant hadn’t leaked. I drove home the 18 minutes, no leak. I drove the next day from Carlisle to Leeds and back again with no leak. Although I wasn’t brave enough on a long motorway journey to try turning the heating on, there was still no leak after 220miles of driving. I give thanks to k seal and the finger to the mechanic who did not even mention trying it. I am considering buying a small bottle of kseal to keep in the car in case the passenger footwell fills again, but so far not even a drop has landed on the newspaper in the footwell.

I used k seal for leaking heater core on my 1999 Jeep grand Cherokee 4.7, so followed the instructions on the bottle and low and behold didn't even slow the leak. The only thing it did was make my coolant look like dirty ditch water. I would not recommend. Thanks for your reply Colin from k seal. You said it was simplistic to just say it didn't work without details but that's what k seal is promoted to be simple to use. You said that treating heater cores is more complex well why don't you put that in the instructions on the bottle. Con product simple as that. Update the k seal started to turn into lumps of jelly like substance so I'm worried now that this sh#t has caused more damage,I have now flushed out and drained the system and hope it hasn't blocked channels or pipes in the cooling system.

I found little puddles beneath the car every day, realised it was not oil or steering fluid or washer fluid. - found the source of the leaks , tried tightening nuts bolts etc. - no good. I thought of trying a raw egg as a solution !! , maybe in the past it could work , but I came across K Seal , little blue bottle , - very sceptical , followed instructions , Amazing - worked wonders , no leak at all , potentially saved an over heated engine or worse !

Sometimes things work and sometimes they don't. I purchased a bottle of K-seal Ultimate from Amazon Prime which arrived next day. I followed all the instructions but unfortunately it didn't solve the problem which was an air lock in the coolant tank on a Smart Car 450. Aside from the result there is something else which is equally important in a company and that is the experience. Whilst I didn't get the result I still feel that K-Seal deserves 5 stars because the way they dealt with the situation was nothing short of amazing. It states very clearly on the bottle that IF for any reason their products do not work then you can get a refund. I wasn't expecting this when I sent them an email trying to understand why it didn't work. Within an hour of sending the Email I had a telephone call from an engineer at Kseal who walked me through the process and tried to fault find / work out what could have gone wrong. They confirmed that I did everything right and proceeded to tell me what I should do as next steps to try and resolve the problem (well above and beyond what I would have expected) They also sent me a rebate form (Understandably there are a few things they require for a refund) and I'd documented the whole process with pictures and videos which I sent to them as proof that I'd tried things how they suggested. The money was refunded into my account the same day. For the support alone I'm giving K-Seal 5 stars and whist it didn't work for me I'm confident that I would try their products again if the need arose. Excellent Company who have my trust.

Hi I tried k seal on my Renault Clio that has a over pressurised system and loses water daily, I normally top up the overflow tank about 1 every 2 weeks. It seemed to work initially and there seemed to be no water loss or over pressure for 2 days, but on checking I today, there was some residue on the over flow tank, showing it had over pressurised again, also some grains that look like filings, probably it has vomited the k-seal. I have topped it up again with anti freeze. Shame I was so hoping it would fix it, but the car has already been this way for over 2 years, symptoms have not got worse, so I thought I would give it a try but like another similar product that promises a permanent fix it also failed, oh well I shall just continue topping it ú every time it is low. At least kseal is only about £10 where the other product I tried last year was £40! So disappointed.

Having communicated with representatives of this company and they answered all my questions on suitability, I went ahead an purchased their product, followed their extra information related to the smaller cooling systems of a motorcycle and now 2 months in and no more head gasket leaks. Saved a 'ton' of money 'to boot'. Thank you, K-Seal.

Eventually worked out steamed up windows and smell of coolant in my car was due to a leak in the heater core. Put K Seal into my expnsion tank, went for a drive, put the heater on full and after about 10 minutes all symtoms disappeared. Saved a small fortune and a headache by not having to replace the heater matrix. Excellent. (Use in Audi A6 Avant 2.7 TDI with dual climate control)

Have a 08 Honda civic with a factory known porous block crack. Leaking maybe a quart of coolant a week. One bottle of K seal stopped that leak after a couple days of driving. Pretty impressive product for my small leak. No clogging to radiator or heater core. 👍

I found that my 2014 5.3l chevy Silverado was throwing a code P050D and I was told that it was from a porous head or block causing the problem. So I went to the auto parts store where I read the label on several bottles of "stop leak" and all but K-Seal said you needed to flush the cooling system of anti freeze, the K-Seal was more than twice the price but if you consider the time and cost of flushing the system of anti freeze it was much cheaper the best part is it worked exactly as it said it would, my 40,000.00 pile of junk now runs and preforms like it should have from the beginning and no more codes and is very smooth. Thank you!
