Apr 30,2021Supersnelle service op het vliegveld van Alicante, ondanks het feit dat onze vlucht 2,5 uur vertraagd was en pas om 2330 aankwam, stond daar de vriendelijke medewerker van Lara Cars ons op te wachten en binnen een kwartier waren we “on the road” naar onze bestemming in de keurige Peugeot 208 (welke auto we ook als preferentie hadden opgegeven). Een ander voordeel is dat we in het Nederlands te woord werden gestaan wat toch heel handig in een gestresste situatie (vertraging). Ook het afleveren is heel fijn, de auto mag op dezelfde plek op het vliegveld worden teruggebracht. De verhuurprijs is all-risk, dus er hoeft geen borg of iets dergelijks te worden betaald, alles is verzekerd. Top!!

Sep 30,2020You can stop searching. Me and my family have rented cars all over the world. And everytime we are in Alicante we use Lara cars. And why anyone isuainf other companies I don't understand. They are reasonable, the cars are top notch, and no hidden cost what so ever.. I recomend them to everybody all day long! Morten Østad

Oct 31,2019First time used Lara cars after using Gold car for years( will never use Goldcar again as they have turned into rip off merchants) Lara was easy to book online,met guy at arrivals in Alicante,very pleasant and informative,explains everything need to know,car payment and handover very quick and easy. Nice newish clean car. All in all a great experience and will not hesitate in using Lara cars again and recommending them.

Oct 18,2019Used for first time last week. Met us from the arrivals hall,walked up to carpark, did paperwork and was on way within 15 mins. Dropping off car is easy, they don't even have to be there when you arrive. Dealing with this company is so easy and quick. Respond very quickly to emails. Cars are excellent. Defo use again

Aug 04,2019half truths in everyword.unprofesional setting.charge for gasoline and in some small lettering ask to return the car empty.i returnet the car full thinking they would give me the charge for a full tank back but no.said the car would be fully insured for tings and that was also bull.

May 20,2019Booked to pick up from Alicante airport for 10 days and return with the full tank and return empty. Some good things some not so good... paid cash at the airport so no cards and a good price... never found the guy meeting us not that helpful, never offered to help with luggage and more interested in his phone and the exit hard to see from the car park and almost invisible until you get to it, a little more detail on the exit would have been nice as we drove around a few times until we saw someone else fine it . When we first saw the car it looks like a lot of hire cars ... No wheel trims and scratches on several panels... not that impressed. The internals was fine although I really did not like the Skoda I found the gearbox a little notchy and it was petrol which is more expensive in Spain than Diesel, We did a lot of miles over a few days and the car run fine and left it with almost half a tank so may go for return full next time. Overall I thought it was somewhere around a 3/4 star. Great price but maybe the car may not look as good as some. I would use again but would pick a different car.

Mar 16,2019Great service and a fair price. You dont feel you will be scammed as likes of Goldcar etc. Two negative points prevent 5 stars. 1. Internal car light not working which was akward as my apartment has underground parking. 2. I paid 56€ for a full to empty tank but my car had a 35 Litre tank which would cost 40€ to fill from completly empty. Please be transparent and honest as we are not stupid.

Oct 31,2018Based on their previous good reviews, I picked Lara Cars, and they were excellent. Friendly, quick with paperwork, and were able to produce a 2nd hire car at very short notice when we couldn't fit the luggage into the car I had ordered! They didn't ask for any extra deposits or insurance either, and I didn't have to wait in a queue. Highly recommended!

Jul 13,2018Fantastic personal and friendly service. No surprises or extra fees, what you see is what you get and they even upgrade me when they can to a higher category. Free extra drivers and car seats. So wonderful, I hesitate to give them a good review as I want to keep them for myself :)

Oct 20,2021We rented a Skoda for 2 weeks in October. Very easy to book and easy to pick up and leave the car at the airport. Friendly and service minded staff. Will for sure rent a car from Lara Cars next time in Spain! Good prices and everything perfect, the best company for sure at Alicante Airport.
