Feb 20,2024Dad didn’t want a funeral just a simple unattended cremation. Susie at Liberty Cremations in Uckfield was so kind and helpful, explaining how it would work. This alleviated our worries and left us very confident that in line with Dads wishes, his cremation would be managed with great care and kindness. We were kept informed along each step of the process and the service delivered was excellent

They put my mind completely at rest with the whole process and handled everything. All I chose to do was collect my mothers Ashes in person from the crematorium. Jan 11,2024I was a nervous wreck when I contacted Liberty Cremations I had just lost mum the ladies on the phone were so kind patience understanding caring and very informative. Not only was I very ill I had caught what killed my mum and I was sorting out mums cremation if it wasn't for the lady's on the phone I wouldn't have managed it thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥

Nov 10,2023We have used Liberty twice now and, apart from a little hiccup when the ashes went to the wrong town, I found them very sympathtic and efficient. Also very reasonable financially compared to a full blown funeral.

The whole process was dealt with efficiently and respectfully. We were also pleasantly surprised that they returned Mum's ashes on an agreed day in person. We would highly recommend Liberty. The process was so much less stressful than organising an attended cremation service, which really helped us at a difficult and emotional time. Thank you.

Mar 15,2023Mum was 97 and had only a few close family and friends left alive when she died in February We had talked openly about what would happen after her death Mum had decided to be cremated but was adamant that she didn't want the fuss or extravagance of an expensive funeral "Keep it simple" was the key Liberty stepped in Mum was collected within hours and cremated within two weeks The cremation could have been attended , or not. Liberty even gave me the option of being at the cremation alone , which I thought very considerate After the event Liberty offered to deliver Mums ashes to me at home, extremely thoughtful As discussed with Mum, instead of a funeral, I was to compile a personalised gift pack for each of those that she loved It was a wonderful and tearful experience going through years of photos and belongings I carefully choose an item of jewellery or piece of memorabilia for each friend and relative who would otherwise have attended a funeral Each pack is to be sent out ,with all her love and in her memory , from my Mum Mum herself wants her ashes to be sprinkled at home in Scotland She wants to be with Dad her dogs and my brother, so they could all sail away together Liberty have been gentle calm and understanding all through our slightly alternative plan So a huge thank you Liberty for making an extremely sad and heart wrenching situation , an efficient and easy process, just as Mum wanted x
