We are a family run business trading since 1989 first under the Name Chiltern Reptiles and then became an incorporated company in 2003 when we changed our name to Livefood UK Ltd. Because we are a small close knit company with just 10 employees we are able to really concentrate on customer care which has been the driving force behind our continued growth despite the harsh economic climate.

Feb 22,2017have been using this company for months now, can't fault the service or the delivery schedules. Ordered a cricket keeper but was damaged on arrival. Sent photograph to them as requested and they went over and above what was required of them. The top of the keeper lid was broken, they sent a complete new cricket keeper.

Sep 29,2015Good prices. You do pay for delivery, but the cost plus delivery tends to be cheaper than other sites that offer free delivery. Prompt delivery, generally 2 to 3 days, standard delivery. An excellent range of foods and products, essentially everything you need to look after reptiles (geckos and skinks in my case). I haven't found a site with a better range. This is NOT a critisism of Live-foods, it's a word of advice: Don't order crickets, that may sit in the post over the weekend, during wintertime, they get cold and some may die.

Dec 09,2014Have used this company for many years for live food and accessories for my beardies and have never been disappointed. Food is always fresh and lasts longer than from any other sources. Promt service and very reasonable postage costs. Had a slight issue recently due to a failure by royal mail and staff dealt with it quickly, great customer service. Hope to use them for many more years.

Nov 20,2013Well i have had a bearded dragon for just over 2 years now and as he was my first ever reptile, it was abit daunting looking at all the live food types and the suppliers. I joined the RFUK and heard of Livefood UK ltd and have used them ever since, i have not had a single problem with them. Their prices and products are just amazing i would recommend them 100%.

Only issue was that the inner packaging wasn't entirely secure so some had managed to wriggle their way into the outer bag before the postman delivered the package to us - which I don't think he was entirely impressed about!

May 03,2017I have a repeat order for frozen mice from this company. The mice always arrive cold (I feed on the day they arrive, so no need for them to be completely frozen) and in excellent condition. Recently my order arrived and part of it was missing. I contacted the company straight away and they responded within an hour, apologising for the mishap and promising to immediately dispatch the missing item. They did so and the item arrived within 48 hours. I was very impressed with the professionalism of this company and will definitely recommend them to anyone needing supplies for their pet reptile or amphibian.
