Established in 1979, Longacres is a family-run group of six garden centres in the south east of England. Our flagship Bagshot store is the largest independent garden centre in the south of the country.
We've been selling online since 2002 and have two purpose-built warehouses for stock and packing.

Jan 07,2025Ordered an artificial light up tree told it had been sent then on second phone call told it was still in centre then told I could have an ex display at a reduced price. With no box but it would be boxed somehow? What an unprofessional operation. All they had to do was either email or phone to update me I should have not had to keep chasing this matter up. This was a complete waste of my time I had to request a refund and I now have to source another tree for a special occasion.

Jan 06,2025I was nervous about ordering a fragile, ornamental item from a garden centre for delivery. On reading reviews from on other retailers websites, it was clear that they were easy to damage in transit. The item arrived swiftly and brilliantly packaged. As a result, there was not a chance of any damage occurring. Great to see an online retailer take so much care in the packaging of its goods.

Jan 06,2025I ordered a gift card at the beginning of December and was able to chose a delivery date. I thought this would be great as the gift card was for my father as I live a long way away from him. Sadly it arrived on the 14th which was really disappointing as he opened it unaware what it was. I was shocked when he rang and told me that he had it already. Longacres did apologies and returned my postage. I just wish it arrived on the date I was able to select. He is looking forward to using the card in the near future.

Jan 06,2025The service I received from Longacres was great. I had to ring because my order did not arrive and they sorted the problem out immediately with an apology. However, I would not use Longacres again as they use Yodel and I had real problems with the delivery; Yodel said they didn’t recognise my postcode, didn’t deliver when they said and you can only talk to a robot!
