Absolutely amazed great service and great quality product I love my windows they look amazing definitely recommend
STAY AWAY!! They take your money and don’t provide the goods. Fraudsters
I can understand most bad reviews that they have been given. A lovely lady in my local shop had her windows triple glazed and was over the moon so I called for an estimate in this last month I have called four times no one got back to me, three days thought give it one last go and again they said they would call me back and nothing. I believe they can not need the work. never mind their loss
We got a quote from Love Windows in June 2018 for 9 windows, 1 door, french windows, internal sills, exterior cladding and dry verges on the roof. This left a kitchen window and kitchen door that we did not think at the time we needed replacing. Having agreed the contract and paid a deposit of around £3000, we subsequently had to do all the chasing to get a surveyor out and then to get a fitting date. After many calls the fitters (two guys) came in September 2018. After fitting the majority of the upstairs windows, we realised that they had not replaced the internal sills, and pointed this out. The fitters did not know that this work was on the contract, but duly did the necessary work.On the second day of fitting we realised that the kitchen window/door looked out of place and consequently we agreed a price (after a visit from the salesman) for these two items, which we were told would be fast-tracked for fitting. On the third and last day of the original fitting, when the external cladding was being done, we mentioned the dry verges. The fitters knew nothing of this part of the contracted work and did not have the necessary equipment. We were advised that the dry verges would be fitted at the same time as the door/window. To cut a long story short, we are now in March 2019 and after many many phone calls, broken promises, fitting dates (4 so far) when no one turned up, appointments made for the door/window to be measured up (even though this had been done by the original fitters) when again no one turned up, we seem no nearer to a conclusion. We did make the mistake of paying in full for the original contract even though some of the work had not been done when the original windows/door/cladding had been sorted. We have sent emails to customer services (non-aggressive ones) but have not even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement. We have to say that we had no problems with the fitting team, or the quality and price of the windows we have had fitted. However this company appear to have no consideration for what their website says about their customer service, openly lie to customers, apparently (in our case) take money under false pretences, and make promises that they have no intention of fulfilling. In summary, based on our experiences, we would advise to stay well clear of Love Windows. We are now taking legal advice as it seems that Love Windows have no intention of honouring the original contract which has been paid up in full, when all we want is for the paid-for work to be completed, and the additional work to be done.
Do not use this company you have been warned. First impression was good and value for money how wrong was I. When surveyed to measure told I needed toughen glass on two windows yes extra £80 then told couldn’t had triple glass in due to weight of glass on tilt and turn on upstairs windows.decide to go ahead arranged date for fitting.three guy came and fitted windows all 5window in less than 4 1/2 hours. Their Health and safety is a lot to desired, one even broke my bathroom sink. Anyway windows looked good only checked the look of them two days later went to clean window upon opening one window noticed a hole in the window frame where they tried to drill into brick alarm bell rang check other 1 other window damaged yep 1 hole inside window fram silcone put in to cover up.other windows missing sill cap 7 email and phone call no response what a joke this company is there happy to take your money but will not contact you to resolve issue. my mistake I paid in cash and fear I will never get this resolved. Trading standards now informed.
My windows look great thanks guys definitely recommend 👍
I got recommended this company by my father who had work done by them in July 2018 and he has had no problems what so ever with his windows and doors I decided to go with Love windows and I do not regret this decision at all they have done an amazing job thank you very much will definitely recommend to my friends and family
Having had all my windows replaced I was initially very pleased. All triple glazed. A few days after the installation I noticed that inside the glazing had the bitumen sealant splashed especially on the kitchen windows. I called them, left messages, emailed all for nothing. I gave it 2 weeks & still nothing. So I contacted the advertising standards authority as I felt the 15yr guarantee which we hadn't received was worthless. To my surprise the ASA checked out the company & suddenly but threateningly 3 of the team turned up & replaced the glass. 6 months on I'm in the same position, those kitchen windows look like they have rain marks inside the sealed glazing. I've emailed, used the feedback page & phoned, no response. My first review I gave a good rating, 1 star is too high for these charlatans. Do not use Lovewindows.co.uk ever, you will end up regretting it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Following Adams response, to which I'm still waiting for that telephone call back & the three emails. This is your glass guarantee Adam. "Glass sealed units are guaranteed for a period no longer than 5 years after the commencement date, above for the failure of hermetical seals (i.e. misting between panes). Locking mechanisms, hinges and all metallic moving parts are guaranteed for 1 year subject to regular maintenance by customer. Cosmetic deterioration to handles, letter plates and door handles etc. due to general wear and tear are not covered by this guarantee" My kitchen glass units were replaced because the person who made them had gotten the bitumen sealant inside the glazed unit. You only repsonded then because the ASA pushed you to. I don't enjoy leaving reviews like this feel free to look at other positive reviews I've made by all means including the initial review I gave Kevin & Farooq. This time the kitchen glass units must have developed a leak on the seal & now inside the glass appears to have rain drop marks. If I could post a video I would. I've left 3 phone messages, I've emailed you 3 times, nil response. As far as I can see the glass units are guaranteed against hermetic seal failure. You have my details, call me. I'd be happy to talk.
I retired last year & we decided to use my lump sum retirement money to replace our windows & door which were now quite a few years old. We had the work carried out, having all our windows & doors replaced, with the exception of 2 small attic windows, which we decided to have done at a later date as these were not as important & we had had quite a lot of expense on the house in the recent months. The work was carried out & initially everything seemed fine so I left a good review for them, which they had requested us to do. When we decided to have the attic windows replaced we contacted them again, paid the deposit/surveyor's fees totalling £226 in August 2018. We were then contacted with a date for the installation to be carried out. Unfortunately the the date we were given was 16th. Oct. 2018 & we had arranged to go on holiday from 15th - 25th Oct. I contacted them & explained the situation but said it shouldn't be a problem as we have relatives living in the village & could arrange for someone to be present but they told me a homeowner needed to be there. I then offered to return from my holidays whilst the installation took place as we were only staying around 50 miles away & they said the work could be done in a single afternoon. They said not to bother as they could reschedule us for a later date. Meanwhile there had been several spells of cold, bad weather & we had noticed draughts coming in from the corners of several of the windows, but more worryingly from the whole hinged side of the rear door, leaving the kitchen freezing cold, just as it had been before the work was done. I tried to ring them to explain the problems & to arrange for the other windows to be fitted, but got no response. I then began to worry in case they had ceased trading. After making checks & finding they were still trading I rang again. This time I spoke to a female, who after I had explained the problem said she would get someone to ring me back that same afternoon to sort something out, but no one did. I waited a few days then rang again & spoke to a different female, she also said she would get someone to ring back the same afternoon, again no one did. I rang agin a few days later & spoke to the same female, who remembered my previous call. She apologised that no one had called me back & said she would leave a note for someone to get back to me. Again no one did. I made one other call with the same result. I then wrote to the manager at the London office explaining everything that had happened but did not receive any reply. I then tried emailing their customer service dept. but again no reply. They have a section on their site stating they offer a 15 year guarantee so if you encounter any problems to let them know. Both my wife & myself have filled in the relevant section & submitted it but heard nothing back. They have now had our £226 deposit/survey fee since August 2018 & we have not been able to obtain any response from them despite numerous attempts.
Do Not Use This Company We had Windows & Door fitted last year by this poor company, firstly the Sales Rep showed us 2 brochures of the doors that they supply, we chose one from the Composite Door brochure to be told 2 weeks before the installation date that they don't make this particular door of our choice and we had to select a different one from a different brochure. When they came to fit the windows and door the window frames did not fit and the door you could see daylight through it, they remeasured the frames and returned a few weeks later with the new windows with the new frames and windows to find that the casements were bowed but they did not believe us, they sent a young guy out to rectify this by changing the hinges to smaller ones but this did not make a difference. They then sent out a independent installer to take an overview of the fitting and he did agree that the windows and doors had been badly made and fitted, we have held a sum of money back £500) to be paid on final completion and satisfaction, at the moment we have not signed to confirm we are happy with the result and have now found that we have a window casement that has water ingress which i reported to them on 3rd Jan, I was advised that they would send someone out to measure and get a replacement sorted but I'm still waiting 2 months down the line. I have even sent them a recorded delivery letter but I have had no response and on further investigation of this company I find that they are using paperwork with the Certass logo, I have since had an email from Certass to say that they are not a member and as such Certass have informed Trading Standards. My next port of call is to the Ombudsman!!
Great windows
Nothing but poor from day 1. Sent windows with no glass, glass broken in transit, fitter broke glass while fitting, glass unit badly made and couldnt be fitted, glass unkitemarked where required. Sold as certass certificaticated when they were not. Cancellation after cancellation and bo shows. Had a builders survey done who stated that the manufacturing and fit is poor. French doors dont align and leak air and are noisy. Failure to provide proof glass passes uv regulation. Trading standards are investigating the company and i am in communication with them about this horrific company. Advice to those that have given good reviews to get a different window company certified by certass or fensa to inspect them and you will no doubt be suprised by the amount of faults found!
People feel free to call Cameron Love windows manager supervisor who the hell phis punk is on mobile number 07794266776 cant promisse that you'll get anywhere with it as you may be aware that these people do not respond to their customers once they got a sale, do not return deposits, or supply the product nor do anything apart taking your money. And everyone report them to trading standarts and put them out there! Also this is their office phone nr 01274728232 Where salesmans or shall i call scamers are. Hope that helps someone.
Just had our windows fitted by Petes team and they have done a brilliant job! We read some previous reviews and were considering cancelling our appointment but I’m so glad we didn’t. Within a week of purchasing Adam managed to get them measured and fitted as we were in a hurry. We will definitely be using them again for our back windows! Honestly can’t recommend them enough.
Just had 2 doors and 8 windows done the team worked very hand and has done an excellent jobs which looks really lovely even clean up after themselves would recommend to family and friends
Just had our windows fitted today and wow they look fab thanks to Razwan and Farooq! Love windows was very quick throughout the whole process within measuring our windows they rang a couple of days later to organise to come fit them and they were fitted the next day all in one day. They miss measure our kitchen window but the guys rang the office and they managed to get one made the same day and all completed in one day! Don’t listen to the bad reviews. Thank you all Rosey and Nathan
Following on from my previous review. I’m still waiting for the guarantee and window locks. Don’t understand how hard it is to provide these. I’ve been told twice these will be hand deliver to me personally- still waiting. The two windows which were leaking before Christmas were sorted but are now leaking again. Have rung numerous times this week. Told they would call back and yet again I’m still waiting. I also see on Companies House that 2 directors have resigned and another one was appointed in December. Also, by ringing numerous times and speaking to the fitters, it seems staff are coming and going all the time. So, doesn’t bode well. I also see since I last looked on here that a few good reviews have popped up. Seems funny that the flood of good reviews all seem to have the same dates.... I have been asked to update my review if my issues were resolved. I did agree to this. But as they haven’t been resolved and they are not returning my calls. I felt compelled to put another bad review.
Stay clear! Ordered my windows in mid August. Let down twice on fitting, taking 2 days off work. No call, no apology, nothing. Requested refund of deposit which was eventually agreed. E-mail address isn’t valid, no-one answers calls most of the time, and despite being signed for, my recorded delivery letter was returned to me! Two months later I had to do a chargeback on my credit card which fortunately came through today, the same day a better-priced, reliable company fitted my new windows.
My new windows were installed last week. I am very pleased with them, and the installers worked very hard. And were clean and tidy with their work. This is why I have given 5 stars
