Bit of a crazy Purchase, approval, Temporary, then Final serial number system as it's all done manually. But I do understand why. Best 3D app out there for most uses.
Maxon UK are very helpful and have always worked hard to try to resolve any C4D Studio issues we’ve had here at 3dtp. I believe all problems we’ve encountered have been resolved by James and his team, allowing us to deliver our projects on time.

Well firstly the software is incredible! For me it is the gateway to limitless expression in 3D. I have been dealing with Maxon UK for many years now and their staff are always very friendly and helpful One of the things I like about cinema4d over other 3d applications is its all encompassing power to help with all elements of a project whether it be modelling, texturing or animation If you are interested to 3D I couldn’t recommend a more complete solution!
Apart from the fact, the Maxon package is one of the best on the market their support and care for their customers go above and beyond my expectations. Friendly very helpful service from my main contact James is always a pleasure to deal with.
Not as straightforward as usual Renewing R20 subscription. Although it usually is a seamless experience renewing my 3 monthly subscription to Maxons Cinema4d this time there were issues which could only be sorted out by the Maxon User support team which meant I was a day without the program when I really needed it as well as email ping pong with the local team who had no idea what was wrong and just kept telling me to do the same thing over and over again as if it was my fault. I can't fault the program (excellent, but this time around I was frustrated and disappointed with the process of renewal.
It looks automated but isn't I made a purchase last week, online, paid by credit card, but the serial key and the invoice had to be transacted in the day after, not immediately as is the usual experience with an online purchase. This needs to be made clear, as I had to contact the company to find where they were. Stella
Great product, but the set up and instructions to set C4D up was slightly confusing. Maxon was quick, responsive and helpful if you need any additional info or help.

The buying 'experience' is quite easy (as it should be) for the important stuff like the core product and Service agreements. However the peripheral merchandise is awful. They have been selling that stupid lion mouse-mat for years. I'd be quite happy to buy a Maxon Tshirt, but they never sell them. For a company with such a large fan-base they are missing out on extra revenue which would certainly go some way to covering costs of the annual conferences. Just sayin.
The purchase process was perfect. No set backs. Waiting time (for serial number) just as predicted. All smooth.

Good personalised experience, if I had a question they answered very quickly even though they were in the middle of a very busy period. I just think although the products are very valuable, their one size fits all price scheme is unfair and out dated. With freelancers filling a large chunk of the people using cinema 4d, the huge entry price is way too much when you have studios paying the same amount. With people like Adobe and SideFX offering equally valuable software at much fairer and competitive pricing it's time for a change I think!
