Todays session was so useful! It was a great way of learning all the tips and tricks of how to ace the UCAT exam and it gave me real confidence for this summer. Both Aqib and Aisha were great to talk to and the stethoscope was a great touch!

As an aspiring dentist, what made the UCAT Masterclass a genuine and useful experience was the interactive powerpoint Aqib and Aayesha presented. He provided a well presented and organised breakdown of each section which allowed us to fully immerse ourself into understanding what to expect when we sit the exam. Aided by multiple examples and scenarios.

I came in with low expectations and ended the session pleasantly surprised. It was informative and enjoyable. I feel less stressed and confused when looking at practice ucat questions, like I did before thanks to the tips

Been with Medichut throughout my medicine application journey and received the last of my 4 offers yesterday! I got an offer from my dream medical school (Kings) and i cannot recommend Medichut highly enough for their help from the UCAT (after my masterclass I scored 3310) and in interviews! My interview tutors Patrycja and Anna were brilliant - I’m so thankful for how much stress they took out of the interview process!

I really enjoyed the beginning where the Dr briefly covered the anatomy, and relevant biology we needed to know. I think he explained the pain assessment model SOCRATES and the other strands of taking medical histories pretty well as he gave example questions for each stage. The opportunity to take histories was great - I wish more of us would have had the chance to try it, so perhaps a follow-up session to practice taking histories in order to develop communication would be possible in the near future? I think the Dr had useful advice during the Q&A, but I did not appreciate the subtle, but present tone of disapproval when students raised questions about the UCAT. It is one thing to encourage students to get organised and ahead of the curve, but telling them they are ‘so far behind’, and that their peers had started months ago is not useful nor kind. The UCAT registration is in 3 months, which is more than enough time, and encouraging an unhealthily competitive culture so early on will only be detrimental later when students are in medical school. Overall, great experience for taking histories, but I wish the Dr was more authentic and empathetic in his advice (it felt as though he was trying to sell us the MedicHut packages by making us feel like we were at the back of the pack - which is not accurate!)

I did a virtual work experience, regarding taking a history. I felt this was very useful, and learnt so much about how a real doctor coordinates themselves. I am very grateful for this oppourtunity and what i have learnt from it. Thank you medichut.

It was fun and I loved how it was really interactive so we got to answer question in the chat and also by unmuting ourselves.

Absolutely amazing virtual History Taking Work Experience! Dr Syed was incredible at explaining and interacting with the attendees. He explained how it's important to understand the anatomy of the area of which the patient is describing, which makes it quicker and easier to diagnose. He went through SOCRATES and the 7 steps to take a history. We then had the chance to practice out loud, with Dr Syed providing criticisms to help us improve. It was only an hour so it could have been longer as it was so interesting!
