Feb 12,2023Wonderful tutors and very informative. Everything was explained very clearly in a straight forward and comprehensible way. The tips for UCAT and BMAT preparation was useful and practicing questions helped improve my technique to approach them. This is also for the personal statements and interview tips. They explained clearly what to avoid and what to do and this helped me know what the interviewers and universities are looking for. The work experience for radiology and ward rounds was very insightful. The interactive parts of the work experience helped to remember the information in the long term and was more engaging. Something to improve is to have a quiz at the very end to see how much we have actually learned and this would further help to reflect on what we gained from the experience. Otherwise, I am very happy with everything.

Also, the work experience hour was so knowledgeable it was a great interactive session, helping students come out of the comfort zone and work with other students as a team. Definitely recommend it.

Feb 11,2023Very insightful and informative it provided me with a wider understanding about ucat and bmat as well as how oxbridge universities are like and how their applications are different. My favourite part was the Radiology and the steps that are take in order to come up with a diagnosis. As I found Radiology hard to interpret with out any prior medical knowledge which was not the case and with some guidance we were also able to do it. Thank you very much I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.

Feb 11,2023I loved my experience during this program today, receiving useful information from teachers and oxbridge students was absolutely amazing. Loved the way lessons about the UCAT and BMAT were presented. The Radiology work experience was also so useful. I've learned so much and enjoyed the session a lot too. I liked the interactions we had with the teacher, asking and answering questions which made me wanting to understand and know more about the topic. I would've liked the whole program to take more time, so we could have some short breaks between each part of it. but overall, amazing work, very useful, and great suppport too, which I'm so thankful for.

Feb 11,2023I have learnt a lot today and made so many notes! This experience today has definitely made me more interested in Medicine/ Dentistry, and increased my knowledge so much! The hosts of the meeting were humorous and chilled, and being an S5 student, I feel more confident in going on to preparing for my University Application this year! From information on UCAT and BMAT from highly experienced professionals, to the chance to work as a team to diagnose given patient cases, everything was so valuable! Thank you so much!
