Jul 30,2022It definitely helps with the steam coming up and matches the black stainless ver well! Only problem is it’s very flimsy metal. Already bumped it a couple times reaching for pans and can see dents and bends in its future. For the price it should be sturdy.

Jul 30,2022The microvisor was very easy to install. It has made a big difference on the grime that got on the cabinets I was very impressed with the ordering process and how fast it came. It was well packed too We are getting used to reaching a bit more to get items in and out of the microwave oven

Jul 30,2022Quite pleased! Cooked hamburgers and sausages just to test it out. Even with weak microwwave fans, it knocked out about 70% of smoke. Easy to take off and on as well. Worth it.

Jul 29,2022This add-on hood over my range is a genius idea, and it works great! I had a small snafu with installation which was immediately addressed and a self-tapping screw was sent to me which fixed the problem. Very happy with this product and the customer service!

Jul 23,2022The microvisor hood was shipped quickly and we received it in a few days. My husband installed it and he mentioned that it was very easy to install. It seems to work well funneling steam and smoke into the microwave fan and not into the kitchen. It is a nice quality. The reason for the three stars is that it does block your vision. My controls are on the back of the stove so i have to bend over to set the controls. Also you need to keep the light on because it makes the stovetop dark. While cooking a large pot with the strainer of pasta, it is not easy to drain the pot because as you are lifting the strainer the hood interferes.

Jul 20,2022It does redirect the steams to the vent. So far no issues, just it may get hot on the visor but so far has not been a problem. Will chech my wall cealing junction as prior to use this i had some yellowish changes. I suspect this wont happen again.

Jul 19,2022Fast shipping and very responsive customer support. Loving our Microvisor Hood - looks nice and does a good job sending all the smoke and steam to the vent instead of the front of the microwave. Price is a bit steep, but they don't have any real competition, it apperas.

Jul 31,2022This hood works pretty good and was what we were looking for to keep the steam from escaping the vent fan and getting all over the microwave and cabinets. I would have given it 5 stars, but for $150.00 it doesn't catch all the steam(maybe 95% which is pretty good). If it was just a few inches wider it would probably catch a %100 and I also thought it should have an option to be able to adjust it so when it's not in use you could slide it back out of the way instead of taking it off with the one screw. Other than that we love it.
