Oct 04,2022Right from the start, the whole team were great. I went to the Liverpool studio and was very lucky to be put with Douglass. Although not my first, I was still nervous but Douglass was brilliant! Patient, friendly, polite, professional and above all, the tattoo itself was awesome! He didn’t speak much English but I don’t speak Portuguese so we were both on the same page and yet, we still managed to get on great. Really nice guy and was so helpful throughout. I can not wait to get booked in for my next piece and without a doubt, Douglass will be who I ask for! Thanks team and thank you, Douglas. Good luck moving here permanently and hopefully see you very soon for our next piece!

Jul 16,2022I came with a picture of the kind of design I was after. Antonio created a design for me that was better than the original and unique just for me. The black and grey work is excellent, the contrast between the lighter & darker shades. I'm made up with it, exactly what I was hoping for. The studio is very clean and tidy but also has a lovely vibe to it. Everyone in the studio were friendly and reassuring and they brought me coffees throughout the day too. Sometimes you feel unsure or have doubts before getting a tattoo somewhere but you'll have none of that with Mogwai, I was at ease and confident I'm going to get a great service & top notch art work and I did. 100% recommend

Jul 16,2022I flew from the Isle of Man to get my first tattoo by Antonio and the overall experience was outstanding, from the moment I messaged on Instagram for a consultation to the moment I left with a fresh new forearm sleeve. I was nervous at first but from the moment I walked in I felt at ease and couldn’t have asked for a better tattoo. The artists here are world class and I can’t thank Antonio enough for the piece of art he’s created on my arm. Can’t wait to come back for my next tattoo :)

Jun 22,2022I came for a forearm tattoo last week and from the moment I enquired I received nothing but great service via there Instagram with it being my first tattoo I was abit hesitant however everything was explained in detail putting me at ease, the design I had done was outstanding exactly like the drawing I will be getting the rest of my arm done asap I couldn’t recommend them enough

I have been in twice now, both times with Pedro (Roche) and he was amazing, super friendly and so talented. The tattoo is everything I wanted and more. Only place I will be going to get a tatto.

May 27,2022WHAT A DAY!!! Seriously from the second I arrived at the studio I was greeted like an old friend, all the staff introduced themselves, I was offered tea, coffee, water, food… you name it! (the coffee by the way is AMAZING! Try one of Baz’s cappuccinos with the English toffee syrup!) Then I sat down with Lauren and she went over the finer points of my tattoo and was more than happy to change/adjust different aspects till I was happy, at no point did I feel rushed and she was more than happy to keep altering things until I was completely happy. Once we got started I was made completely comfortable and we she was happy to take breaks and let me stretch my legs (I was in all day so it was much needed). Overall the whole experience was exactly what I hoped for and i I definitely found my go-to studio for all my future tattoos! Thanks again guys and I’ll be swing you again very soon! :-)

May 19,2022Full day session with Pedro (roche_tattoo insta) yesterday, and what can I say, first contact with Baz from the shop was great, welcoming, offered a drink and got sorted the paperwork out in the stylish waiting area, this studio is by far the coolest looking (and super clean) I’ve been in. Once the form was sorted out I met up with Pedro and we went over the design for my throat, his attention to detail was incredible, you could tell that he really cared about his work and that it had to be perfect, which put me at complete ease especially with how visible this piece is! Once he was completely happy with the set up, we got to work, Pedro made sure I was comfortable and I had plenty of opportunity to use the bathroom facilities before we started. Boss atmosphere in the studio with good music, happy staff and great work, I couldn’t be happier with the process from start till finish. There’s parking really close, a small lot right next door and a large carpark just two seconds up the road. 100% would recommend Mogwai Tattoo 11 Upper Newington Liverpool, and I will definitely be back for more work by any of the artists there!

I am genuinely blown away by the service provided from start to finish, so much so, that half way through my sitting, I was planning my next visit. Oct 04,2022Was my second tattoo, first professional one. I have to say the place is clean, staff are friendly and are very talented. Lauren did mine and gave a few ideas and also stuck to how I wanted it but did it in a way that made it more unique too. Would recommend going there for a tattoo.
