We booked a car months ago and they have cancelled the booking 24 hours before our flight departure, claiming “the car had broken down”. Unprofessional behaviour, they sent a text and not even offered a solution

Ho prenotato una fiat panda a buon prezzo con 3 mesi di anticipo,arrivo ad heraklion di sera alle 21.30 per ritirare l'auto presso monza rent car ma mi dicono che l'email della prenotazione era stata cancellata e non avevano un'auto da darmi,gli mostro l'email di conferma della prenotazione ma mi dicono che pur essendo un problema loro il problema era mio.Arrivo quasi alle mani perchè dovevo fare 2 ore di viaggio per arrivare a chania in hotel,fortunatamente trovo un altro noleggiatore. Ps: Il giorno dopo ho controllato sul loro sito e avevano ancora auto disponibili.Come ho potuto capire accettano tantissime prenotazioni ma quelle a prezzi bassi e senza assicurazione le cancellano.
Es el segundo año que alquilamos coche en Monza Creta.El primer año la verdad q todo de 10.Nos atendió un chico majisimo,no nos hizo la retención en la targeta y todo genial.Por eso este año repetimos......pero nos tocó la señora borde, con sus gestos de cara aburrida.Nos quería hacer una retención en la targeta de 600 euros o pagar en metálico 110 euros de los cuales no nos lo reembolsarán.Despues de entregarnos el coche tuvimos q volver porque se encendía una luz de peligro y la de batería.Y como era tan amable pues no nos explico el porqué.Nos dice q es normal y cuando llevábamos recorridos unos 20km se nos funde un intermitente, vuelta otra vez a ver el careto de mis gestiones.Por suerte nos atendió el chico le dio unos golpecitos al intermitente y listo(en 4 ocasiones más tuve q hacer yo lo mismo)el agua de los limpias lo tuve q rellenar también
Noleggio auto molto serio. Atterrati all'aeroporto di Heraklion ci hanno portati con un furgone alla sede dell'autonoleggio che dista a pochi minuti. Avendo già concordato i termini contrattuali e il prezzo via mail ( sono stati veloci nel riscontro e chiari nei termini contrattuali ) il tutto si è concluso in pochi minuti. L'auto consegnata era quasi nuova e pulita. Purtroppo qualcuno, uscendo da un parcheggio, ha graffiato il paraurti posteriore e non ha lasciato ovviamente i propri dati. A fine vacanza, riportata l'auto, il personale ha visionato l'auto e in pochi minuti mi ha comunicato che il danno sarebbe stato coperto dalla loro assicurazione. Consiglio vivamente di sottoscrivere l'assicurazione completa senza franchigia che consente peraltro di pagare il noleggio senza la creazione dell'impegno sulla carta di credito ( altri chiedono 700/1000 euro ). Nota ulteriore positiva: via mail avevo richiesto il navigatore con una spesa ulteriore di 30 euro: dal momento che mi hanno consegnato una auto diversa ( ma più bella e confortevole ) dotata di android auto il costo non mi è stato applicato. Per concludere....autonoleggio consigliato !!
Maria is excellent Always provide a good reliable service @ highly competitive rates. Friendly & courteous & being off airport is a benefit rather than a negative. I always use Monza when I am in Rhodes or Crete
Alles tip top. Von der Reservationsbestätigung bis zur Abgabe des Mietwagens. In Rhodos wird man mit dem Shuttle abgeholt und am Ende auch wieder am Flughafen gefahren. Ca. 5 Minuten Fahrt. Anmietung und Abgabe innerhalb von wenigen Minuten. Hatte alles inkl. daher keine Kreditkarte, keine Kaution. Freundliches Personal. Gerne wieder!
I will try to be very objective. Communication was timely and I got a confirmation email and replied as per previous review🙏, received the car with no hassle. Brand new C3 rather than the Fabia I booked. Arguably a smaller boot capacity 10%. Car had 0 fuel. Had to look quickly for a petrol station. (stressful if you don’t know the place) on return the place was busy. I over estimated my usage and left €30 worth of petrol. (Much easier to manage a full tank policy) we got into the van to return to airport then asked to disembark as it’s been rented out “just move with your bags to the next van” we did. We had to wait for other passengers “who were not ready yet” my objection was met by some unwanted advice about needing to be patient and a rage of a drive back thrashing our luggage all over the boot and damaging one. Never again.
Completely rubbish service, dirty car, dirty seats, they forgot to bring the child seat, the wing mirror fell off after 5 miles on the motorway, i need it to pay in cash even i ask them if i can pay with card and confirm me i can.
Fuyez cette compagnie ! Contrairement à ce qu’ils font croire, ils ne sont pas localisés sur le site de l’aéroport d’Heraklion. Vous devez prendre une navette pour récupérer votre véhicule. Grâce à cela, ils en profitent pour vous arnaquer au retour du véhicule. Ils vous inventent n’importe quoi comme griffes ou dégâts pour vous réclamer des frais qu’ils ponctionnent directement sur votre carte de crédit. Et vu que vous dépendez d’eux pour vous déposer à l’aéroport pour ne pas rater votre avion, vous êtes poings liés avec eux. Sans parler, qu’ils vous invitent à prendre une assurance qui n’assure rien du tout ! De vrais arnaqueurs !!!
Il 21 luglio prenoto un'auto sul loro sito per il 17 agosto e ricevo una email di conferma, in cui c'è scritto che la prenotazione è confermata e che si prega di rispondere per fare sapere di aver ricevuto l'email Senza nessun altro avviso, il 13 agosto ricevo una email che dice che la mia prenotazione è cancellata perché non hanno ricevuto la mia risposta. Questo è assurdo e inaccettabile: 1. Non era richiesta risposta per confermare la prenotazione 2. Non era indicata nessuna data limite per l'invio della risposta 2. Non ho ricevuto nessun avviso o remainder da parte loro che mi rendesse noto che non avessero ricevuto la mia email di risposta e che quindi la mia prenotazione non fosse ancora perfezionata Risultato, prenotazione cancellata, si rifiutano di trovarmi un'altra auto allo stesso prezzo di quello da me fermato nella prenotazione, vacanza a rischio Metterò tutto in mano ad un avvocato
Mietwagen für zwei Ferienwochen im August 2024 frühzeitig anfang März 2024 reserviert und bestätigt bekommen. Bis zu den Ferien nichts mehr gehört und am Tag des Übergabetermins eine Whatsapp bekommen das kein Auto zur Verfügung sei. Unter aller Granate. Und sowas von Unprofessionell !!! Nie wieder werden wir von so einer Vermietung ein Auto in Erwägung ziehen... Würde am liebsten gar keinen Stern für Monza geben .... Geht gar nicht sowas....
j'ai réservé une voiture quelques semaines avant de venir en Crète (avril 2024) Tout était confirmé même de ma part (envoi copie passeport et permis de conduire). 5 jours avant notre arrivée à Héraklion, l'agence annule notre réservation prétextant une non confirmation de ma part. Insistant sur le fait que j'avais bien confirmé la résa, ils prétextent un problème de la part de leur logiciel! je réserve de nouveau et ils me répondent qu'il n'y a plus de voiture pour les dates souhaitées!!!! grrrrr ont-ils privilégié d'autres touristes, leurs amis....agence pas sérieuse du tout, A EVITER.
There is not much to say when it is perfect. Brand new car, very professional and excellent communication too. I have hired multiple cars over the years and I would honestly state this is the best by a mile. In relation to the quality, the cost is excellent. 300€ cheaper than last year. (Different company) I personally cannot recommend this company enough. Good Job Nikos. 😀
Monza Car Rental company' service is the best I have experienced, they are very helpfull and supportive, even if you forget your wallet in the car by mistake, they help you get it back the shortest way as possible. We were so impressed, I would hifhly recommend for everyone renting a car in Crete. Thank you ince again for the full Team, this is a top rated service you do!
Highly reliable car rental service. We received a small car, exactly as we had requested, which was delivered to our hotel and picked up there at the end as well. The salesperson was friendly, and everything was arranged quickly. Additionally, the car was in a very clean condition with a half-full tank. Communication was also very smooth. It's also one of the few car rental companies where young people (under 25) can rent a car, which is very convenient. Highly recommended!
Der Mitarbeiter der Vermietung war sehr unfreundlich, nachdem ich die Zusatzversicherung abgelehnt habe (250€ für 6 Tage) mit dem Verweis bereits eine Versicherung zu haben. Ich habe (überflüssigerweise) angemerkt, dass dieses Geschäftsgebaren aus meiner Kundensicht schädlich sei. Er hat dann mehrfach gedroht, den Vertrag zu stornieren. Eine vertrauensvolle Übergabe des Fahrzeugs war nicht möglich. Man sollte nunmehr selbst alle Schäden nennen, der Mitarbeiter wird keine Schäden selbst aufzeigen. Gezeigte Schäden wurden dann dennoch nicht notiert. Ich habe mich zwischendurch bedroht gefühlt und auch andere Mitarbeiter des Vermieters konnten plötzlich kein Englisch mehr.
We as a family had a 3 days great experience with MONZA in Rethimno / Crete. They were extremely flexible, and brought the car to my hotel offering a full insurance policy at a very convenient price (we paid 155 EUR total for 3 days, full insurance coverage). They were flexible with the payment and what is most important with the delivery. You just park the car, and send them a location in WhatsApp and leave the keys to the reception. They come and get themselves. The boy delivering the car, NIKOS was very smile face, supportive, and informed us in every kind of information required from him. I was polite and very correct when you write to him, and to confirm that car is OK, when they pick it up. We recommend MONZA, because we had a very good experience with them.
AVOID! Do not rent a car from Monza Chania Airport. We booked a Mercedes 9 seater and received a bashed up Fiat which was not like for like. It broke down twice and had a slow puncture. When we contacted Monza - they told us we had to fix it ourselves and were very rude. Ignored repeated attempts for help. We discovered that the battery lead was loose and we had to attach it (with the help of a friendly Greek man at garage). He also tried to speak to Monza for us and I can’t repeat what he said about them after he spoke to their “emergency help” number. Every journey started with putting more air in the tyres. Warning lights on every day. Lots of the panels were damaged and it seemed to have been resprayed which seemed odd given the “mileage” on the clock. Interior old and grubby. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO HIRE A CAR WITH MONZA IF YOU WANT A RELAXING HOLIDAY.

Sep 18,2024Disgusting service and what absolutely seems like a scam they have going. So we did arrive late by about 40 minutes into Heraklion airport, looked for the rental place and stood in the queue. Things were moving very slowly, the one person at the kiosk wasn’t really helping anyone. After about an hour of standing in the hot sun with all our luggage a guy turns up with a minibus to take us all to the cars. Only the drivers were allowed to go so my partner had to wait there with 4 cases. When we arrive they start to tell everyone because we are late our cars are gone, it is company policy that if are two hours late they cancel your booking. They proceeded to offer much more expensive cars to rent, one man paid double his original price because we all felt stranded and no one knew what was going on. I was refusing to pay more so they got me to call their sister company in Athens who said it wasn’t to do with them. They just said we should’ve let them know, but how could we while in the air! And anyway they kept us waiting an hour so we wouldn’t have been late had that not happened. In the end I left because my partners phone had died, in a foreign country with all our stuff and they offered no help, I had booked through a third party site so they refunded me and are now trying to get a refund themselves!
