Still haven't received a refund for returned slippers 4 weeks after they were sent back. Impossible to get through to the company via the telephone. What awful service. Avoid this company.
Ordered slippers for my mums Christmas present. Ordered from Moorlands before and the product was good but this time things seems to have been 'cut back'. the slippers my mum insists are 2 different sizes on the feet - one size 6 (as ordered) but one much smaller that feels like a small 5 (its even too tight for me and I am a size 5). not very impressed.
What happened to my order for my 90 year old father-in-law's Christmas present?????...first they took two weeks to hint that the item ordered in November wasn't coming by sending a refund, before they sent a message saying that the item is out of stock, then, just as they told me this, they sent me a message telling me that they are giving me £20 off the same item that they are showing as being in stock. So I order again (by now it's the 7th December) and they tell me it's 5 to 7 working days for delivery....but they don't arrive. When they don't arrive after the 5 to 7 working days (now 18th Dec) I send a message to ask them why (without a response), instead they send me a message telling me today (18th Dec) is the last day to order for Christmas delivery???(which Christmas???)... by now this Christmas is only 4 working days away (less than 5 to 7 working days and 23 days after the first attempt to order) and I still haven't got the second attempt at the order they confirmed on 7th December (after trying to first order on 26th November)...what kind of crap organisation are they.....not sure they can be trusted with being in retail, certainly can't be trusted to supply or deliver and certainly need a whole lot of training about communication and customer service. UPDATE 21st December....this shabier than shabby organisation, (with just a few shopping hours to Christmas) have sent a refund (and for the second order attempt that was placed and confirmed 2 weeks ago). Absolutely disgusting! I wonder if they wear spurs, ride horses and round up cattle??? Hope they have the same Christmas experience as my 90 year old Father-in-law. LAST UPDATE....they have just given you a clue as to whether you can trust them by telling me that it took them two weeks to go to a shelf and find out the item was not there. Do you think they might have been absent, playing themselves in the local Pantomime.

This company is TRULY SHOCKING EVENTUALLY ORDERS ARRIVE (although I’m STILL MISSING a pair that clearly went missing in the packing department but because they sent me and wait for this THE CORNER OF A PINK BOX WITH A JET BLACK BACKGROUND AND THE NAME AERO was the signature obvs NOTHING TO DO WITH ME NOT MYSELF AND I LIVE ON MY OWN I WASNT ASKED TO SIGN ANYTHING) as far as they’re concerned THEYRE DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT where they go and what they go through before you get them POOR SLIPPERS ARE TRAUMATISED and joking aside I genuinely have never been so frustrated and dissapointed with a GOOD COMPANY GONE VERY VERY BAD so think on and just be VERY VERY CAREFUL because there is nothing I can do about the missing slippers and the fact that orders placed after the first order arrive long before the original order SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT THE PICKING AND PACKING DEPARTMENT that are clearly DISHONEST . I’ve emailed them to ask about the previous order NOT ARRIVING AS THATS BEEN NEARLY 9 days when they say shipping is 5/7 WORKING DAYS AFTER ORDERING they had my original order 3 DAYS BEFORE SENDING ME AN EMAIL SAYING YOUR ORDER has been dispatched yet the ones ordered BEFORE THE 2nd ones that I’d had no email about AT ALL WAS JUST BEING PROCESSED . This review will have your mind bending BUT THATS WHAT THEY DO it’s solely because the slippers have been on offer I’ve bought more but had that offer not been on I would have RAN A MILE FROM MORLANDS THAT USED TO BE BY APPOINTMENT NO WONDER THE Queen dropped them THEY TRULY ARE SHOCKING SO PURCHASES FROM THEM I CANT HONESTLY SAY YOU ACTUALLY 100% WILL RECEIVE THEM .

I love this companies products and have been buying them for many years. With my recent order, I had a 'query' which was answered promptly and completely to my satisfaction. Brilliant customer service, thank you Morlands.
Slippers were very comfortable, but within one week, the stitching came loose on one slipper and my big toe was sticking out of the other. The slippers were a good fit too, so it wasn't a case of them being too small. I returned them and received a full refund without any problems, but it doesn't mask the fact that the slippers were really poor quality, with a big price tag.
Nice products but poor customer service. Your card is charged as soon as you place the order but before the goods are despatched. If you get the size wrong and want a replacement, you have to place another order and return the first one. Morlands then held onto my money for 12 days after they received the returned goods and only issued a refund when I complained. Unfortunately, I had to return the second order as they didn’t fit either; this refund was issued after 10 days. A good way for Morlands to subsidise their cash flow?
Really disappointed in customer service. I purchased these slippers last year and only wear them in the house. The stitching of one of the slippers has come away from the sole the other slipper is fine. I sent two pictures to customer services, apparently neither of which could be opened. They decided that because faults are usually identified in the first six months there was nothing they would do, without further discussion. I didn't expect such poor quality followed by even poorer customer service for the price.
I have purchased 2 pairs of Ladies Loafer slippers from Moorlands. The first pair were purchased in August 2021, the second in October 2021 which I put in the cupboard for use when the other pair wore out, expecting to have them kept away for several years. What I didn't expect was to have the first pair start to come apart in December of the same year. I know I wear my slippers a lot but at the price I paid I would expect them to last far longer. I switched to the new pair in January and have discovered today that these are plagued with the same issue - the stitching holding the soles and uppers together is coming apart. That's over £100 of slippers that have lasted 9 months combined. Seriously not impressed and will be buying my next pair elsewhere. I should add that I emailed Morlands about the first pair and they refused me a refund asking me to return the slippers for investigation. Still waiting on that refund and am down a pair of slippers as I never heard from them again.
This company should be avoided at all costs if they treat any customer — let alone good customers (as my late husband and I were) as it has treated me. It not only sold a substandard product which I can prove and which the company knows, but sent me an untruthful and unsulting email. It makes the situation unforgivable. Situation to date: I have a pair of bootee slippers of which I have photographic proof: -That they are hardly worn, having been kept untouched in a closet for ca. 4-5 years. I have other slippers which have been kept and are being worn and in perfect order. My husband and I have purchased ca 20 pairs over the years. -That the company name is embedded on the sole -That this product is substandard and has deteriorated badly — the soles have separated and bits fallen off Where it stands: I have received - an insulting email saying they did not recognise the slippers as their own and -That they have no records of customers prior to their takeover of the company which is ridiculous as a customer base would be a requirement of negotiation for purchase. - and for these reasons they were doing nothing to redress the situation.
this was my first order for ladies Morland sheepskin slippers and I am very pleased with them beautifully presented and boxed as well as speedy delivery they seem to be of really good quality and are super comfortable hopefully I won’t encounter problems like previous reviewers but will update this if I do !!
Very disappointed, I purchased two pairs of slippers and neither fitted and I do not think they are a good price. Would rather pay the bit extra for UGG. Then to realise that I had to pay for returns. Returns process was not clear, no proper labels etc. The post office quoted over £11 because I needed to cover the cost of the slippers My Hermes quoted £7. So guess where I will go. All this money for nothing.
Do Not Buy Do not buy from this company. If you have any issues, despite how many times you try to contact them they completely ignore you. I purchased earmuffs that broke very quickly and have tried numerous times to ask for a replacement and they never ever respond. I would never use this company again and would much rather use the other sheepskin company in the same town which I have always found to be
Warning: Don't buy slippers from this company - their customer service is appalling. I had a very bad experience with Morland over slippers I bought about 3 years ago. Vowed never to buy from then again. About a year ago, I relented. Bought a pair of sheepskin slippers, lovely, just the ticket. Not cheap. A week ago I noticed the sole coming away from the rest of the slipper. Thought I'd phone them rather than email. Forget it! What kind of up-market company has a customer service dpt you can't phone - no number anywhere. Disgraceful and I remembered these problems from 3 years ago.
Everthing looks good and I trust Moorlands quality as I have loved my sheepskin gloves for many years.THE only reason I needed another pair of gloves is because I cant find my trusty brown ones - just hope they turn up because I LOVED THEM
The gloves were bought as a gift for my sister who lives abroad. She reports they are a perfect fit and ideal for her winter weather
Replacement for a pair that are at least 10 years old, probably nearer 20. Looks like they’re just as well made, and it’s nice to have lining that’s got a bit of fluffiness again.
Lovely slippers. So comfortable and warm. Great value for a quality item. Thank you.
