Dec 29,2023MotivateMD played a crucial role in ensuring my success during the recent application cycle. I opted for their comprehensive editing package, which included mock interviews. The editing service not only impressed me with its speed, but more importantly, with its invaluable assistance. As an applicant with average statistics and above-average experiences, the quality of my writing (personal statement, activity descriptions, secondary essays) became a pivotal factor in securing interviews and subsequent acceptances. Keep in mind, that the quality of your experiences shines through in how you articulate them in writing. Several of my interviewers went out of their way to commend my writing. This was made possible by the EXCEPTIONAL editors at MotivateMD, who helped elevate my essays. In preparation for my interviews, I completed a mock interview with a MotivateMD interviewer. The medical student interviewer assigned to me dedicated over an hour to conducting a thorough practice session. Because of this, I went into my interviews with confidence. In hindsight, investing in the MotivateMD services was one of the smartest decisions I’ve made throughout the premed process. My partner who is currently in medical school bought me an editing package as a gift because he really enjoyed using the service when he was going through the application process. They provided me with insightful line-by-line guidance on many of my secondary essays, which I think helped me with getting many interviews and acceptances. The team of editors are awesome! They are kind and knowledgeable with giving constructive feedback. Turnaround time was usually only a couple of days, even with really long secondary applications. The editors definitely helped me condense my wording, while still helping me get my point across and tell my story. Overall, I definitely recommend for yourself or you can gift it for a medical school applicant!

You can tell she really cared about helping me reach a final draft I was happy with. I also really loved how she emphasized that she is making suggestions and nothing is final--I had the final say on what I wanted to change and never felt pressured! The process was very easy to start, I just emailed the team and provided them with which editors I preferred based on the school I was applying to, and they provided edits directly on my word documents with track changes, which was super helpful. The turnaround time was great for my essays. The editors helped me a lot with fitting what I wanted to say into the allotted word count, improved flow and sentence structure, and helped me make choices in terms of content. They did not necessarily help too much with brainstorming or developing content, but did provide feedback on the content itself and what could be improved without drastically changing the already written essay. I also signed up for a brainstorming session which was very useful to help me figure out my approach to different essays and ideate for the “diversity” essay prompt. In addition to the quality of editing, I really appreciate the affordability!

Jackie M. helped me write an amazing personal statement that helped me get into my top school and was super encouraging throughout! She helped me brainstorm and never took more than a day to respond to my edits which I really appreciated. Dr. Chatrath helped me with my mock interview and gave me some really great feedback and I felt so confident during my interviews. She provided phenomenal feedback on my responses each time and helped me identify other content I could bring in when answering questions. After my mock interviews, I felt well-prepared for my actual interviews. MotivateMD is worth the money, and I am so appreciative of their help in getting me to medical school!

Nov 06,2023I bought the package with primary/secondary help that came with two mock interviews. I am so grateful an older friend recommended motivateMD to me, as their help with editing and brainstorming for my secondaries was so insightful. Dr. Nada helped me focus difficult secondary questions as well as cut them to be within the character count. I always left our zoom calls feeling empowered, encouraged, and reminded about why I want to be a physician. I also did two mock interviews with motivateMD which were definitely good practice. The two interviews I ended up getting were unconventional so they were not similar to the mock interviews I did with motivateMD, however I am still very grateful I got to practice with motivateMD because I felt over-prepared coming out of my interviews. All in all- motivateMD is totally worth the money! I just found out I was accepted to my dream program, and I am so grateful for the assistance that guided my path here!

Oct 31,2023I took the package for 2 mock interviews. I was able to get one since my interview was too close. I was helped my an internal medicine person, my interview was in pathology, but she asked me good questions and guidance regarding pathology interview. The quality and price for the live mock interview is awesome compared to other competitive companies. The customer service is excellent as they always got back to me via email or by phone in scheduling the interview session, answered all my questions and concerns, as well as refunded me back for the mock interview session that I was not able to schedule.
