Very poor aftercare. No one seems to care and now because of nobody ever getting back in contact with me quite a few months back the car is not driveable. Unfortunately I had problems with the car after a little under a week back in August 2023, now we're in March 2024.

Visited MRG as I was interested in a particular vehicle. Was met by Ethan who then arranged a Test Drive. The vehicle did not meet my expectations and with the help of Ethan who listened to my requirements for a vehicle, suggested a Ford Kuga. I then test drove this vehicle and bought it. Be warned go here at your peril I’m just wishing to warn others as I’m an 66 year old man who is unwell with MS and these people are Incompetent expensive fools. Got involved with these rogues twice unfortunately. My car had a radiator leak and was regrettably towed to MRG as I had always had the car serviced with them I had no choice it was taken to them by the breakdown company. Despite such a very obvious problem a leaking radiator hose they once again left my car languishing in their ‘care’ days later charging me 150 pounds diagnostic fee for what was a blatantly obvious problem so simple I would imagine even the rude insubordinate parts boy would not have had too much trouble working out. To repair the hose they wished to charge me 786.77p the labour charge alone being 570.50 p which they said would take a couple of hours labour but the car would need to be with them for days and days on end. I was then advised that it would be much re or less the same charge as having a new radiator fitted.yet another bit of misinformation by their badly trained staff. I own an old v50 t5 AWD and as it’s a rare car wish to keep it in good condition. I was told I would be informed by Friday of the timescale for this work but as I have learned to expect no return call was forthcoming and the new invoice wasn’t for ‘about the same amount ‘ plus the radiator but was now going to cost 1573.55p and they still remained unable to say when it would be ready. I was really beginning to wonder what on earth was going on at MRG and called to speak to a service advisor but was put through to a very rude man in the parts team who called me a liar and one thing I don’t have to do is lie about the shambolic mess MRG are now in. It’s such a shame Chris has moved to Bumpers Farm as he’s really so desperately needed back at Chippenham MRG! As the issue was so apparent I was desperate for them not to raise this charge and can see no justification whatsoever for such a fee, water was pouring from the radiator hose. But my request fell on deaf ears until the parts boy went out of his way to involve himself after cutting me off and then deliberately choosing to answer the phone when I asked to speak to Emily in service reception unless lucas has now been transferred to service as he has never answered their phone repeatedly prior to this occasion. However my daughter then received a call from a Will alleging to be the general manager swearing to my daughter that he had listened to a transcript of my daughter talking to the parts team another blatant lie as she has only recently given birth and was in hospital at the time it was not my young daughter but ME why lie ? Suddenly all charges were dropped and I was asked to collect my car . How delighted we were to get car back and we are now getting it properly repaired by a decent garage not a band of vagabonds and overpriced fools . Saving ourselves over one thousand pounds !!!! This place definitely needs a decent manager AGAIN

MRG Chippenham were stocking a gold Volvo XC60 with cream leather interior and many other features that I had my eye on a very long time. I called up, made an appointment very easily and travelled all the way from Manchester and was not disappointed. The vehicle was in pristine condition - very well looked after so I decided to leave a deposit and come collect another day. Ethan was extremely helpful and took the time to ensure I understood all the finance and aftercare options. He patiently demonstrated the cars many features which were overwhelmingly new to me. Very happy with my lovely new car and would highly recommend buying from these folks, they know what they are doing and are very reliable and trustworthy. I would use their services again in future : )
