Munchery is a whole new way to get dinner on the table: we deliver our chef-crafted meals and cooking kits made using fresh, whole ingredients to your door at everyday prices.
I find Munchery very helpful. It has a varied menu with mostly food that I enjoy and good customer service. It solves dinner with minimal effort.
I was recently diagnosed with cancer and my work group gave me a Munchery gift card to help feed my family and decrease my stress while I started treatment. The first time I tried to use the very substantial gift card I was asked for my credit card. It wouldn't let me use the gift card without putting in my credit card and "joining" Munchery for more than $80. As anyone facing this battle knows, medical care for cancer is very expensive and we can't afford to just give away any money. I tried the online chat to find out how to just use the gift card and "Jaz" told me it was policy that I put in my credit card before I could use the gift card. I asked to speak to a customer service manager and was told they would have to call me. I asked for a name and number to call them and was told that the customer service managers rotate so frequently that she couldn't give me a name (?) and she gave me the standard number that just routed me to a voicemail with no option for customer service. Even after I relayed my situation to the person on chat they still refused to say anything but - "that's our payment policy ma'am" I have never been so disappointed in a service (or lack there of) this is a travesty - I caution anyone who is contemplating a Munchery gift card to go elsewhere. This has definitely not been a gift!
Food tastes fresh and delicious.
We're long time Munchery customers and rarely have we had a problem. The food is always fresh, healthy and creative. They have recently added the Slanted Door, one of my my favorites, to their menu..Nice! If questions about your order, an excellent customer service chat access,pops-up at bottom of page with each order. They seem to offer different discounts each month, free shipping and the like,to help keep the costs down and I like that idea. You select the arrival time and they text you when they are 10 mins away! Awesome delivery people and delivery service! Whats not to like?
good but not fantastic
I have stomach issues. For the most part I am able to find good, healthy foods from Munchery that I am able to eat. 5 stars all the way.
Some of the meals are great and some are not so great, my son and I have been customers since they opened.
A good option for a restaurant like meal at home. Nice selection of entrees, delivery service is very good.
Honestly, the majority of the time I would say that Munchery deserves 5 Stars. They meals are rotated very well with the addition of new entrees and items, Occasionally I find that I can not find a meal that I would like and that would fit into my Weight Watchers points. But in general I do find meals that work in my parameters. The only reason I gave you 4 Star rating is that my last chicken breast dish was really dry. Having had previous chicken breast dishes that were absolutely delicious and quite moist, I think it might of been the exception.
So far the only problem I have had with Munchery is when I ask for he afternoon delivery and I don't get it util 8:00 when the time line is 5:00
We have recently come back to Munchery and have found the dinners we have ordered to be excellent.
A lot of the food is good however, what I find most annoying is the photos show more food than you actually receive. I was thrilled to see more salads but disappointed when they arrived.
We have received excellent delivery service and the ordering is very simple. Sometimes the selection just doesn't fit with what we eat, but the preparation and quality of the food we get is very good.
Great service & food. Selection sometimes seems limited, mostly by our tastes & preferences, which are not quite as contemporary, perhaps.
We generally enjoy the food -- the cooking kits especially are delicious. Sometimes we have experienced delivery issues, and customer service is very apologetic and gives us a credit ... however, that doesn't solve the problem that we didn't receive our dinner that night. We've been through many transformations of Munchery throughout the time we've been with them. For example, we miss knowing which chef created and cooked our dish like in the old days of Munchery's founding. Sometimes the menu offerings are quite spare. And, the kids' items have all but disappeared. Overall, though, we're happy to continue ordering, making eating on weeknights much more convenient for our family.
Munchery is fantastic! Delicious meals, healthy, and convenient for a busy family or working individuals - Munchery works for everyone!
When lettuce is part of the meal, make them bite size pieces. Sometimes the beef is not the tenderest of cuts
The food from Munchery is above average, and we find it to be an attractive alternative. The prices are reasonable. The delivery service is something else. We have a 6 - 7 PM delivery window and have had food arrive before six and at 8:30 TWICE. The 8:30 deliveries were due to unfortunate events, but that doesn't make it okay. We hope that they can solve the delivery problems because this erratic behavior os wearing on us.
The meals are fresh, appealing to the eye and promptly delivered. I'm an aging boomer and their cuisine seems aimed a young to middle-aged city dwellers who like trendy foods. Salmon, salmon and more salmon. Lots of bowls full of five or six strange ingredients: kale, black beans, peppers. Whole chickens. Balsamic flavorings. Lots of Mexican. If you like these, great. No shellfish, veal dishes, lasagna, pizzas, crabcakes. Check out their menus. If you like what you see then you will be happy with this service.

Aug 30,2017I usually re order the dishes that I enjoy from Munchery. I did order the Chicken Pho and Beef Pho twice, both were different. Different packaging and different condiments. I would like more consistency. Other than that, the food is mostly good than not.
