Will back here for an updated review! These are the facts, you can judge the customer service of this company yourself. I placed an order online for some chairs and tables on 23 April and paid online nearly £1,200. I was later called to say that none of these items were in stock and would be replaced. As they were still being advertised online and payment was taken this was, what I considered to be, fraud. After eventually finding some chairs that were in stock (after 2 or 3 attempts) a further payment of nearly £1,000 was taken from my account by their accounts team on 27 April. The original payment was refunded to me the next day on 28 April. I didn’t hear anything for a week or so and therefore I decided to chase. I was told that the company could not see that any payment had gone into their account, despite their accounts team processing the payment. I must have called a dozen or so times to chase until the 13 May. I also called my own bank 3 or 4 times to check that payment had gone out. On 13 May I was told that they still could not see the payment and so would not be releasing the stock for delivery until they were able to confirm payment. On 14 May, out of the blue, I got a call to announce that the delivery guy was there with our stock! Clearly the accounts team do not speak to the delivery team. I called to query this on 18 May and was told that this was “confusing.” On 19 May another payment of nearly £1,000 was taken out of my account without permission or my knowledge! Stealing! Having called to complain, speaking to the manager every day and e-mailing I was eventually refunded this second payment on 28 May – 9 days later. I had one apology in this whole month (after being on the phone with the manager for over 10 minutes) and no offer of compensation or written apology. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Superb service fast delivery helpful people
Rang up this morning looking to buy some banqueting chairs spoke to a lovely lady call Leah who was most helpful and friendly. Chairs are now ordered and will be delivered Thursday.
I needed some tables at short notice and Ningbo were able to provide me what I needed, and were even happy to deliver them on the specific day that was best for me. The customer service staff were friendly on the whole. I've just used the tables for an art workshop and they were great: lightweight, stable, and easy to erect.
1. 10/02/15 - Order placed and paid for. 2. 17/02/15 - Order status changed to ''Awaiting Shipment'' , sorry to be inquisitive but that means to me available, correct tables and ready to deliver? 3. 19/02/15 - Conversation with Ninbo, 1 piece tables not available only 2 piece tops, Not exactly what I ordered but needed tables. 4. 19/02/15 - Confirmation of availability and shipping for delivery 20/02/15. 5. 20/02/15 - Phoned several times to check conformation of delivery - delivery confirmed. 6. 20/02/15 - Getting late, phoned and was advised Ninbo checked with transport and would be with me in 30 mins. 7. 20/02/15 - 1700 hrs, no sign of delivery, phoned Nimbo, reception told me that they would check and phone back, no phone call received? 8. 20/02/15 - 1730 hrs, now past deadline for delivery and office closing, phoned again, ONLY TO BE TOLD BY THE RECEPTIONIST THAT TOOK MY EARLY CALL CAN NOT DO ANYTHING EXCEPT SEND AN EMAIL? SHE THEN INFORMED ME THAT EVERYONE HAD GONE HOME AT 1630 hrs? 9. 20/02/15 - Silly me waited until 1830 hrs for a delivery that never happened. I find the level of service extremely poor, you have your money so it doesn’t matter, can someone explain to me why this simple order was so complicated and I am still left without goods I paid for 12 days ago, was the delivery on Friday 20th actually confirmed or just a holding tactic? This is unacceptable and would not tolerate the same customer service levels from my staff. John Rendall
I recently made a purchase of tables and chairs I was told they were not in stock and would arrive in around 4 weeks I said it was fairly urgent, they sent goods to me as they came into stock several deliveries instead of just the one as quoted, there was no extra charge for this and I will make Ningbo my preferred supplier from now on.

I found Ningbo after a Google search and was pleased with the low prices but obviously quality products. My order arrived in good time, though I was a bit disappointed that the delivery driver offered no assistance, leaving me there on my lunch break with a wrapped pallet of chairs blocking a space in the car park and a flight of stairs facing me.
Bought £500 worth of furniture in August. It is now the end of October and I am still waiting a delivery. What I ordered wasn't in stock, this was not clear when I paid. I was offered an alternative colour for the chairs but I wanted a particular colour. I an very disappointed and if I had known this was the case I would never have ordered from them. There stuff looked good and the prices are good. Good website and the person dealing with me has been courteous and apologetic.

We are a small village hall, We were able to replace our old seats with these lovely new chairs at a great price and even got free delivery. The purchase was easy and the delivery very fast. There was a hitch with the delivery but the lorry driver was so good natured and helpful that it would be churlish to complain. FANTASTIC DEAL
