Nov 17,2024Had two accounts with them over the last few years. Have had no trouble depositing funds or withdrawing them at the end of the contract. They did not need lots proof of ID from me as they did it electronically, when i opened my first account with them. Which is great for me as hate messing around sending documents by post. Add the fact i do not drive or have never left the UK. So have no photo ID and not ever going to get any it seems. Postal voter, so never needed any photo ID. Housebound so just going to a photo booth would be a problem.

Nov 16,2024Opening my most recent account was very quick and straight forward. At the time of opening this account, it offered a better rate of interest, than all but one of it's competitors. I did however find issues with my own bank, who were reluctant for me to pay the sums of money I wanted to Oak North, without referring me to their own fraud team. Once the account was opened, and you log on to Oak North, it is very clear the cumulative interest that has been added to the account and what has been accrued/pending in the current month. When extra deposits are made, notifications from Oak North have been received quickly sent direct to my phone.
