Jun 30,2021After comparing lots of misleading claims, from other companies I asked Euan for some information regarding remapping my A5 2l tdi, I was contacted within the hour and felt at ease discussing the remapping without any sales pitch or pressure. To cut a long story short I am delighted with the results and would definitely recommend Octane Tuning to remap your pride and joy.

Jun 07,2021Octane Tuning, Excellent. I spoke to both Euan and Tim separately and got good advice from both guys without any hard sales. I spoke at length to Euan about the IXsound active exhaust system and he was happy to discuss the system through with me. Over a couple of calls we went on to discuss my car I found the information I got from him was accurate and above all as I have said there was no hard sales. I decided to book myself in for an engine re-map and was 90% certain I wanted the IXsound system. Euan was more than happy to let me hear the system on my car before I commited to buying the system. On the day I arrived a little early, both Euan and Tim were working in the garage that day and were really professional. They set up the IXsound system on my car and demonstrated it and I knew right away I wanted it. Years of trying to get a decent exhaust note from a diesel engine without success, I can’t rate it enough. Both guys took great care with my car and it had to be right. They talked me through everything they were doing I found both of them very knowledgeable. My car sounds amazing and following the re-map I have noticed more torque, it is still to early to confirm if I am seeing any fuel savings however: I am sure they will come. In short, I can’t recommend Octane Tuning enough, honest professional guys who do what it says on the can. Thank you.

May 28,2021Euan was friendly and knowledgeable. I left my BMW Z4 for a few hours and hoped the car would improve. Absolutely transformed the car with accelaration, torque and fuel economy. Worth every penny. Approx 184bhp to 260bhp and 270nm to 400nm of torque. The car performs to its true ability now and what it was built for. Thank for the 5 star service.

Mar 08,2021My DPF was unable to clear itself so I googled around and come across Octane Tuning, I contacted Stephen and he promptly arrived and sorted my issue out straight away. Will be using Stephen’s services again very soon as I just realised he can also do vehicle remapping services. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Feb 03,2021I called Euan to enquire about a tune for my Audi A4 3.0 TDi and was impressed by what he said, so drove down to see him the next day. Met Euan at the unit, had a brief chat then left him too it. 2 hours later my car was transformed, I hadn't appreciated just how sluggish the old dear had been, great pull through the range, getting more MPG and the car is just running so much better. Euan even refilled my screen wash too :) If you're looking to have your car tuned, you cannot go wrong in giving Euan a call.

Jan 29,2021I took my Volvo XC90 into Octaine Tuning to have an ongoing problem with the DPF looked at. I had already had the car in to two other garages regarding the issue, both saying I needed a new DPF. However, that very competent Dougie managed to work his magic on, without need for replacement. He gave me a full diagnostics, explained what the problems were and how he could fix them. I felt reassured at all times. My car had been in and out of limp mode some time causing severe loss of power, but I drove away from Octaine Tuning with the car feeling alive and full power. Delighted

Oct 27,2020Great service from start to finish. Had an issue with my induction kit not working on my car but Euan assured me he could correct it which he had. Also did a great job increasing the performance of my car with his stage 1 remap. Honestly couldn’t be happier, could not recommend enough!

Oct 23,2020Had a Stage 1 remap on my diesel Volvo V40. It's like having a new car. Not too many extra horses (+20 BHP) but the increase in torque and responsiveness is just incredible. Euan is a proper gent and I'll be bringing all of my future cars to him to work his magic.

May 26,2020I taken my 2l titanium ford smax here for a stage 1 remap as I felt my car was very sluggish. I was talked through the whole process which put my mind at ease. The process taken 2 hrs and I must say I am delighted with the outcome. Every gear is so smooth now and also a lot more responsive. It feels like I'm in a different car. Would highly recommend this company.

May 18,2020I have a citroen relay 2016 camper. It had always been slightly underpowered. When an ad blue fault came up I took the plunge with octane tuning. It's a much better van for the wisdom and knowledge of octane. No faults and perfect service.. Highly recommended and thanks again.
