Nov 18,2023I've just completed my Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship with Paragon. I would definitely recommend them. I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole course and everything I have learnt along the way. My personal tutor, Catherine Fee, was brilliant. Very professional, friendly, and always available to help whenever needed. During my course unfortunately I encountered a health issue and spent some time in hospital, I was worried I may not be able to finish. Catherine was very supportive throughout and helped me get back on track so I could finish the course (which I just completed, achieving a merit) I also needed to complete my level 2 functional skills Maths. With a great fear of maths, I would of given up on it, as I have in the past. Catherine pushed me, believed in me and supported me throughout, and again, I passed this too! Thanks again for everything Catherine, I really appreciate all your time and help 😊

Nov 10,2023My experience with Paragon Skills was very positive, I felt extremely supported by my tutor Alex throughout my apprenticeship, I was thoroughly guided through my work and given great feedback to ensure I was completing my work to a high standard. My tutor and I had regular communication as Alex is very approachable. I tend to find assessments very stressful; however, Paragon Skills organised my assessments very well and ensured to send email reminders ,my tutor also sent assessment information and support documents, this made me feel more confident about my assessments as I knew exactly what to expect. Overall, a brilliant training provider with lovely and supportive tutors! Thank you Alex and Paragon skills for your support and helping me to achieve my Level 3 Business Administration.

Nov 04,2023My journey education/studying- The tutor made me feel so welcome and at home I have just completed NVQ level 3, I really enjoyed NVQ level 3 Adult lead care with paragon skills. My tutor was very passionate in teaching me and kept me motivated with her positive attitude and she was very supportive, she was very engaged with me, and I have been studying with her for some years. I enjoyed our meeting and catching up, she is a pleasure to work with, I enjoyed it a lot. I learn from my progress and achieve my potential and I appreciate her for everything as I don’t think I would have achieved without her support. She brought a good positive vibe , she is patient and encouraged me to complete all work. Studying during the covid pandemic had a big impact for me including sourcing BSL interpreters who could work remotely and regularly for the NVQ level 3 course. Her passion for teaching and dedication to my growth has been inspiring and helped me grow more understanding and more confidence. I cannot explain how much she supported me when I felt like giving up, she has helped to shape my future and her care and knowledge and belief in me in every way have been outstanding. I have also completed English and Maths, and she worked with me sometimes on that too and I passed. I'm a satisfied student and grateful of them. Thanks

Nov 03,2023I have had an excellent experience with Paragon, my trainer Charlotte Ross was knowledgeable and always there to support and answer any questions I had. I was really nervous about my end point assessment but Charlotte supported me to get through it. I have now completed my level 3 lead adult care worker with a double distinction! I have also got my level 2 in maths now, this was a struggle for me but Charlotte and paragon gave me the skills and resources needed to build on my knowledge and pass.

My good results are due to the professional guidance of my teacher Joanne Murray who encouraged and supported me throughout this course. From the very first meeting, I admired Joanne's professional qualities of encouraging and supporting students. Joanne and I communicated excellently and followed her professional advice completely. My tutor was always there for me and answered my questions by providing additional study material in case he saw that I was not sufficiently informed. Joanne Murray gave me confidence in my strengths and ambition to do more than usual by showing me the purpose of this course and how my professional future will change after this course. Joanne Murray is an excellent instructor and I was delighted with her skill in explaining the importance of this course. I admired Joanne's patience and kindness when I insisted on taking math or English exams when I wasn't prepared yet. Joanne Murray believed in me more than I could. Joanne saw the potential in me and developed this potential through her professional way of encouraging, supporting and guiding me throughout this course. Joanne Murray has all the qualities of a mentor and I am proud to have been part of her team. Due to the way Joanne Murray guided me, I will recommend Paragon Skill to all my colleagues and friends to develop their individual qualities and for their future professional careers. Oct 31,2023Joanne Heritage was Super a really good tutor guiding me through my NVQ level 3 health & social care. Whenever I needed advice or got stuck on something Jo would respond very quickly to my queries which was brilliant. The learning portal looks good and some of the interactive rise 360 learning tasks were quite interesting they were online videos and transcripts with click and drop cards on questions after the videos along with some fact sheets. It's a very long course with essay type assignments set so having a really good tutor is crucial which Jo was as sometimes I got stuck on what to write about and Jo would empathise and guide me in right direction when I got worried I appreciated her help. 🙂

Oct 29,2023Adding to my below review: Thank you for taking the time to respond and look into my case. Regarding the copies, I'm still waiting for any updates. If it was up to your management, I would not have received even that copy (air conditioning) which was held at the college, waiting for the rest to arrive. I understand you have to say your course is well structured and everyone is prepared, but this was far from reality. You are right, the cancelled week was announced in advance, but nothing was offered to catch up with the lost time of the course. There were other days which were cancelled and there was either no or very poorly organised cover. Regarding structure I would note: preparing for the EPA and tight on the tasks the students should be focusing on their course work and not trying to repair the manager's/ teaching staff's vehicles. Thank you for your time and I hope you would be able to look into these issues and provide a better service in the future. I completed my Level 3 Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship in May 2023. I was promised to receive paper copies of my certificates- I still have the email about it, which to this day never happened. I followed it up multiple times, but apart from confusing answers, this case never got resolved. Now college says City and Guilds does not issue paper certificates. How this was handled made me feel very disappointed and disrespected and even though I did not want to share my experience about the course itself, after treating my time with utter disrespect and I was not taken seriously at all, I decided I would give a feedback. I worked very hard for this qualification, but the course was very disorganised. I never had a whole week at college, days were cancelled or had no agenda, one occasion a whole block was cancelled. I felt the lessons were not prepared, either the theory or the practical. I had lots of questions, but had to learn they were rather a nuisance as things have not been challenged before, hence it was difficult to get any valuable answers. I should have had visits at my workplace from the assigned tutor, which happened only once throughout the year. As I always turned up prepared for every college day, I was very disappointed when I ended up just sitting in the classroom trying to spend the time as useful as possible. This is particularly upsetting as my Employer had to plan with these weeks to schedule less jobs accordingly, but because there was nothing to do at college, I went back to work. All in all, the course was disappointing and if required I will provide more details.

All this came with my patient tutors, firstly Amy, who supported me even when I felt like given up, Amy was able to provide great encouragement to assist me to pull through. Nov 22,2023My experience with paragon skills has been fantastic. Specially with my nvq level 2 tutor Catherine fee. I would not of passed my level 2 adult care with out her help. She picked up the phone message email every time I phone message or email. She broke unit down for me to understand them better so I completed the full unit. Even when all my unit was finished she will had the time to help practice my epa. I would highly recommend Catherine fee has a tutor and paragon skills for anyone. She also helped me completed my level 2 math and english thank you I could not of done this without you.
