Having tried various products over 8 years to clean our 45 sq m indian sandstone patio, this year we treated ourselves and arranged for the Patio Black Spot Removal company to clean it for us. The cost was 2 1/2 times the cost of the product itself BUT, they're nice people to deal with, they know what they're doing AND they use as much product as it takes to get a perfect result.

I was at the point of having a new patio because of the black mould build up not removed by pressure washing over the past few years. I read about this product in an RHS magazine and sent for a sample to test it. It worked.! As it is a large paved area I decided to have the PBSR Company do it for me. It was worth the wait , the 15 year old paving now looks like new and I felt the money was well spent. The job was caried out by a very pleasant and helpful young man and I intend to have them do a refresh each year.

Really pleased with the result. Most of our sandstone slabs were largely covered in black lichen. After the Black Spot engineer sprayed them, they are all good as new

Works very well, cleared a heavy infestation of black spot plus on sandstone slabs and cleaned up the patio beautifully. The only downside is the high cost, but it does the job.

We have a real problem with black spot on our patio and pathway. Every 3 years we use Black Soot Remover to clean up the patio and garden pathway.we use a jet washer to dislodge the dirt, however the black So it's are difficult to remove with just the jet washer. By using Black Spot remover we have greater success.

Initially bought two litres to test on an area of the paving in front of the house. It worked really well and has removed the patches of black spot. Our only concern was if it would be harmful to some mature plants close by. As we were careful, everything seems okay. In fact I’ve just ordered four more litres, to complete the job. I would definitely recommend.

It was very good on a patio & path, not cleaned for two years, but some black spots remained, despite a big effort!. However, it was a huge improvement. Thank you.

Not as good as expected, did the trial etc. But considering the cost of product I am disappointed with result.

Worked a treat given the state of our patio and it’s age - couldn’t remember what lovely colours were present originally. Bits need a repeat treatment but we expected that. Delivery was prompt. Seems expensive at first but think it’s value-for-money

This product cleaned the pavers nicely. However, it didn't really get rid of the black spot. It works out very expensive and doesn't really do anything any better than domestos which is a fraction of the price.

Product worked well and brightened up the patio beautifully. Still one or two areas which are stubborn but probably due to the age of the paving slabs.
