PD is an amazing and supportive coach. His program just makes sense - he cuts through all the noise and provides a very clear and comprehensive exercise and dietary / lifestyle program that works. He believes in a minimum effective dose approach that minimizes risk, time in the gym, fatigue and hunger and maximizes fat loss, muscle retention (and gains) and energy for the rest of your life. He goes so far as to provide delicious and customized meal plans and shopping lists. His program also educates you on health, nutrition and exercise and arms you for a lifelong sustainable self directed program when your coaching ends. He checks in constantly, is generous with his time and knowledge and also creates accountability. He - and his program - way exceeded my expectations and even hopes and I was able to hit all of my goals and success metrics well before the end of the program which then shows me to progress much further than I imagined I could. People like PD are a treasure and his program is the best investment you'll ever make.

This coaching was on point and productive. PD is 70 years old, he himself experienced what work and what doesn't, you can't beat experience and lesson learned for fast results! When I was ready for this journey, I had the choice among many fitness/health coaches, but to me it came down to finding the best with the most knowledge/experience combo. It's not just about loosing weight, it's how to live an healthy lifestyle the simple way and for the long run. My vision was to drop 25lbs, I ended up being at my optimal weight/height ratio and loosing 50lbs, from 230lbs to 180lbs (height: 6'1) at 49. I recommend PD 100% end of story!

Have been working with PD for about 8 weeks, give or take. In those 8 weeks I have seen more improvement in my health than at any point in the last 01 years. He’s is uber professional, supported by evidence and not afraid to be an outlier from the ‘norm.’ The changes made have always had a big impact on me, looking forward to future developments. Highly recommended if your serious about getting a healthy system in place for life.

Like most, I've tried diets, calorie counting, workout programs, and failed. The beauty of P.D's work is that it focuses on subtle changes over the long term. It doesn't rely on pure willpower in order to endure the pain of hunger and doesn't demand an hour a day running on a treadmill to burn calories. It works because it addresses the root causes surrounding weight gain, and brings you step by step through the science. In other words, it his program doesn't lead you blindly through it, it clearly explains to you the how and why. I can say, without a doubt, that this program has truly changed me.

PD’S coaching was very thorough and as a result of it I lost c22lbs and became much physically stronger and leaner in just 2-30 minute sessions per week…as promised. The menus and recipes were easy to follow and tasty.

PD was patient, knowledgeable, and provided practical guidance backed by his years of literature review. The key lesson for me was meal prep. If I don't, I fall into the trap of just grabbing something that day. So that discipline was a learning experience. The workouts were great and I progressed steadily. PD was always quick to respond to any questions I had.

The beauty of this program is that it makes so much sense. I never believed that you could lose weight without exercise and vise versa. The exercises are designed to enhance building muscle and strength, and not to bulk up. The diet was hard at first, but after a few weeks, it’s easy to maintain. P.D. Is also easy to stay in touch with and answers any issues that arise. It’s probably very rare to state that a lifestyle change can be pleasant, but seeing the fantastic results has been remarkable. In the middle of my program, my wife had a heart attack. P.D. allowed us a reset, and has been very kind in helping us to keep going forward. I have lost twenty four pounds, about four inches in my waist alone and feel great. I fully endorse P.D.’s program. He understands and communicates how to implement the program into a lifestyle transformation. I encourage anyone who is serious about making big changes in their diet and exercise to choose P.D. Mangan. If you’re serious and have the discipline, you will have great success

What initially drew me to PD is that he was my age and looked as if he practiced what he preached. PD has a foundation of up to date medical and scientific information all found in his portal. All information, like videos are short and to the point. He is always available to answer questions and to change things up if you've reached a plateau in your weight loss. Now that I am down to working out twice a week for less than an hour I'm gaining muscle that I can actually see! Although I had been doing weight lifting and resistance training three times a week for six years, I wasn't losing weight nor was I gaining the muscle I thought I would. Instead I was always hungry. My diet was basically leaning in the right direction but PD took it up several notches. He helped me establish a new way of looking at my cooking and what I was eating. I have always loved to cook and try new things, I now have a foundation that allows me to adapt new recipes. Previously this was always a sticking point for me as I researched diets. I found that there would be little to no enjoyment of the food they suggested. Not good news for this adventurous eater. I have learned SO much about metabolic health and plan to enter my 70s knowing that I'm healthy and ready to take on a new career perhaps. The investment I made is invaluable to my mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.

PD Mangan's 1 on 1 coaching program was the best best decision I've done for my health. Between Feb 2023 and July 2023 I dropped from 21% Percentage body fat (PBF) to 9.8%. I have managed to maintain that ratio at around 12% (as of Oct 2024) which I am very happy and comfortable with. I have never felt better. The program doesn't require you to starve yourself and is therefore not hard to follow. You can still enjoy delicious foods and drinks you just need to watch out for the composition of your macronutrients and you HAVE to eliminate junk and heavily processed foods (and I am super grateful PD helped me do so). PD's program is complete from theory to implementation. You will learn how to eat, the foods to absolutely avoid, and how to workout. It requires a mindset and a behavioral change as well as consistency and repetition. This will be Key. PD will push you to be better everyday and he will be available to answer all your questions. It is of course 100% on you to adhere to the philosophy of the program after the coaching is done. I have found my formula and it works for me and I am super grateful for PD's help.

Working with PD was the absolute game changer in my body transformation. Friends have asked what I did to achieve a 50 pound fat loss. I tell them you cannot make a change like this without a plan. PD gave me my easy to follow plan. I will always be grateful for his help.

I like PD’s course because it’s simple and easy to understand and workable. PD stays in touch And is quick to answer, any problems or questions you may have. I highly recommend this system. I’ve been utilizing it for about 17 months and I’m a believer. And more so would help me achieve my fitness goals

PD Mangan is very client-focused and provides a ton of useful (and timely) information and guidance in navigating health, fitness, and nutrition issues. He is quite attentive to the individual client's needs, taking into account the client's particular circumstances, and makes himself readily available for questions, special guidance, etc. He helped me (and continues to help me) tremendously in transforming my fitness levels and general quality of life associated with them. Strongly recommend.

Regardless of what you know or think you know, working with PD Mangan is life altering for the better. I’m a lifelong casual athlete, now in my 60s, rarely in ‘gym shape’ but usually close enough; but until working with PD, often had that unfortunate last 10 - 15lbs of middle aged regret. I spoke with him 2 years prior to finally signing on, the gap being, “well, I pretty much can do this on my own, I mostly know what I’m doing”. HOWEVER! I called him back, when in 2 years I hadn’t really changed too much on my own. And he again said some pithy insightful things about how to approach training and eating. They were seemingly small, easily integrated ideas and changes to my normal, casual routines. Emphasis on “seemingly” PDs recommendations are the result of his science based research. I kept doing my own routines, but added in his 2x a week 30 minute routines, and those are what made an enormous difference. By making small changes to how I used weights, fat started coming off, and muscle packing on; I literally had to get new clothing because my chest and shoulders are bigger. And it’s not just “gym show” — I have a very physical job in construction, and suddenly I’m hoisting a lot more over my shoulder and easily moving uphill with it, or up ladders, whereas before, it was efforted, and I figured, ‘well that’s just getting older’. Nope. After awhile, I dropped a lot of the gym stuff i HAD been doing, dropped the time spent exercising, and I’m much stronger than I had been before. Also, I feel much more protected around my joints, stance, and posture, and these things are measurable. Same thing with “how to eat” / “what to eat” — a few small changes to what I was doing — combined with the exercise piece — and I could feel my always ongoing hunger drop; for the first time in years I didn’t feel hungry all the time. With both exercising and eating, nothing radical, like diets we’ve all tried, or hard crossfit type gym attacks, neither of which ever worked for me — instead, just some calm insightful tactics, which overall led to enormous differences. And also for my other family members…they went along with what I was doing, and they too benefitted (they were free riders on my paid program) PD has clearly used his science training and personal experience / trial and error — to figure out practical attainable parameters and techniques for quickly resetting people back to the physical baseline of their early 20s. Another piece of his calm, warm, and simple approach: “Accountability”. I’m fairly self motivated (perhaps a theme of this is that i THINK i am, but i’m not? perhaps you’re the same?); but just his conversation around ‘do you need to check in with me about being accountable’, added some accountability; not that it was stressful / high stakes ‘coaching’, but just knowing I had support and backup for questions, was useful. I was a little dubious about a few things, he gave me the over/under on them, I tried them, he was right every time, and it was great to have his support to check in. His system of checking in, of personal training as needed, of clear video examples, of being in touch whenever needed — it’s a testament to having a direct approach, of being clear, concise, to the point, nothing extraneous. It is the best money I have spent on health, and I only wish I had done it sooner. Yes, it’s nice to have the outside affirmation, “you look 20 years younger” “you look like a movie star” etc (i’m not exaggerating here), but real gratification is feeling as strong as I did 35 years ago, running upstairs easily, carrying heavy things, etc etc. Again: completely worth the cost, it would be worth it at twice the rate; I would gladly forego a lot of other things in order to sign on to PD’s system

I had seen PD making incredibly insightful and powerful scientific commentary about health nutrition and the seemingly confusing state of scientific information on Twitter (now X) and was drawn to his clear thinking. His ability to simplify complex information was pretty powerful and I had seen what great shape he was in at 69 so I was encouraged to get in touch with him about his training. I was also at 53 and very overweight starting to worry a lot about the possibility of age-related diseases and how I could possibly avoid them. I'm glad I reached out to him. His training and coaching helped put my mind at ease about how to have a strong health foundation through diet and exercise and how to start lifting weights intelligently for my age to avoid an unnecessary risk of injury. He gave me a very simple and easy lifting routine of 2 times a week at 25 minutes a session which I've been doing faithfully for over a year now. He also gave me a diet that I could easily do that could control my cravings. I've grown muscle, lost nearly 40 pounds and I no longer worry about my overall health risks. I feel better and sleep better and that's made a huge difference in my life. I have a high degree of confidence I can maintain a healthy life well into my old age now and have stopped worrying about my disease risk profile. PD is a great guy, very knowledgeable, and has proven to be an indispensable friend in my long road to restored health. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Excellence is the best description. The program designed to fit into a busy schedule, minimal workout time and brilliant eating plan, not calling it a diet plan as its a life style. lost 15kg over the 16 week plan, have got into the best condition I've ever been in. All information is backed up with science based research with constant communication from PD. This is something that I can do as a way of life and not just a passing fad. I've not always been rigid with the meal plans but still got fantastic results. If you are committed to the change you will get results from PD's coaching.

Training with P.D. Mangan was by far the best health investment that I have ever made, and I am confident that when I reflect on my life in many years time, this will be the point at which I know that I confidently took control of my health, physique and fitness. Prior to meeting P.D., I was relatively fit and could run long distance including doing a marathon, and while I appeared lean, my body fat percentage was way too high. I also have a science background, and thought that I had a good grasp on healthy eating. In reality, I was at risk of developing a metabolic disease later in life, like most of the population. I, like many, had previously tried several programs that were unsustainable. P.D.'s program cuts straight to the point with healthy and sustainable practices: simple dietary principles without the need for overanalyzing unimportant factors; brief but highly effective exercise training that can be completed in less than an hour per week; and, extremely informative education modules that make sense of a world of information corrupted by bad faith health and science regulators. Further, the amount of one-on-one time provided by P.D. exceeded expectations and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The past 6 months or so has changed my life forever - I lost over 20lbs and my body fat percentage is now below 14% - and I look forward to continuing to improve for decades to come.
