PD coached me during the summer of 2022. What's great about working with PD is he creates a plan tailored specifically to you to reclaim your health. It's flexible, completely non-judgmental, and you don't have to be perfect. This program is about creating new, sustainable habits (including diet and strength training) that will lead to better health. I'm very grateful to have worked with PD.
I took P.D.'s 1-on-1 coaching course. Before taking it, my diet was low in fat, high in vegetables and soy protein, and I did a lot of aerobic exercises, such as walking, running and biking (35 miles 4-5x/week). I also ate 3-5 times a day. Among the things I learned from P.D.'s course were the benefits of low-carb, high protein diet; resistance training; intermittent fasting and what supplements are good and which are unnecessary or ill-advised. P.D. has done a TON of research. He is very clear in his explanations and provides great references for all of his recommendations. He provides one-on-one advice tailored to your specific situation. His program definitely put me on the right track! At 66 years of age, I am fit, have gained muscle and feel terrific. I never have headaches, have no arthritis, can bend over with straight legs and touch the palms of my hands on the ground, and find my mind is clear and mood upbeat following P.D.'s recommendations. Yesterday I played volleyball and frisbee for 2 hours at the beach with my teenage grandkids and had a great time. My blood test results are all good. I've seen significant improvements in the ratio of my triglycerides to HDL ratio. My heart rate and blood pressure are great. A stranger told me yesterday I looked half my age. I recommend P.D.'s course to anyone serious about long-term results.
The best investment you can do for your health and fitness. I've been training for 15 years and this is the best program and best investment I've made. And I've tried quite a few over the years. The material is excellent and delivered in a way that is very easy to follow. The insights are powerful and backed by science. On top of that, PD Mangan is a wonderful guy to talk to and is always open to questions and you can see he really cares. I was pretty fit at the start of the program but still results are impressive. I cut down ~1.5% of fat, lost ~3kg overall and feel more powerful by training 1/3 of the time that I always spent working out. It only took two sessions ~26 min each per week and I was spent. For those with a busy life, this is gold! I couldn't recommend this more.
PD provided a what I needed, a personalized approach to manage strength development while aging. The way information is presented made it easy to understand how to make changes and retain improvements. Great results.

The impact that this program and my coach, PD, has had on my life cannot be overstated. Before starting this program, I found it challenging to establish a consistent exercise routine due to my busy work and family life. However, with PD's guidance and support, I was able to make exercise a priority in my life and establish a routine that worked for me. What's more, I was amazed to discover that I could build muscle and improve my overall fitness by going to the gym just twice a week. Despite my initial skepticism, I saw results quickly and was motivated to keep going. One of the most significant benefits of this program was the development of healthy habits that have positively impacted all areas of my life. I remember asking P.D about Vitamin D and fever, or how many milliliters of water you need to drink when you take supplements, or that question about drinking after workout 😂. Overall, I cannot recommend this program enough. PD's coaching approach is effective and personalized, and the program's focus on sustainability and longevity sets it apart from other fitness programs. I am grateful for the positive impact this program has had on my life, and I am confident that others will benefit as well.
P.D. not only helped me learn how to get lean and fit, he showed me that I don't have to be miserable while doing it! I changed my lifestyle for good and will never go back. Even after finishing the program I have continued making progress. I am a female who had around 100 pounds to lose, and I'm down nearly 50 pounds now. P.D. tailored everything to fit within my lifestyle and stayed in constant communication. PD is a real legend. His coaching and approach to improving health is backed by his own personal experience and numerous scientific articles. PD is extremely knowledgeable, accessible and friendly. The 1-on-1 coaching I received from PD Mangan was life changing. When I started, I was a 57 year old, perennially overweight, mom of four. His program was straightforward, well described and scientifically based. It also did not involve dieting, starvation or deprivation. By specifically teaching me what foods to eat and what foods to avoid (while integrating my own tastes and preferences), Mr. Mangan made this lifelong-eating-plan relatively simple to adopt. No counting calories, no points, just a clear, common sense path forward. While there are foods that I had to mostly eliminate from my diet, the resulting steady weight loss and decrease in overall body-size made it easier to stay focused and loyal to the plan. Two years later, I remain a steady 45 pounds lighter than when I started and I gleefully had to buy all new clothes. It's a great feeling. Family and friends can't help but notice your change in both body size and energy levels when you adopt this new lifestyle, and they inevitably start adopting some (or all) of the ideas themselves, which only helps to reinforce the program in your life. I highly recommend the program and remain quite grateful to Mr. Mangan for offering this coaching service.
I had a terrific experience with PD and would recommend him to anyone who is serious about (1) losing a lot of fat in a three month period and (2) changing one's eating and exercising habits on a permanent basis. The key point in the sentence above is the word "serious." In our first meeting PD told me that the people who made the most progress under his plan were the ones who followed his directions very carefully, even to the point of brown-bagging filling, natural, whole-food lunches to the office. After deciding I was going to be someone who took the plan seriously, I read all of PDs notes, watched all of his videos, followed every step in his plan, and sure enough, I lost about 17 pounds (almost entirely fat) in three months, and have kept it off since then thanks to my new set of habits. What surprised me most in working with PD is that I never felt hungry or deprived. I thought there was no way to lose fat without needing a tremendous amount of will power to get through the feelings of hunger and deprivation. As it turns out, that's completely wrong. One of the first things PD told me was that it's impossible for anyone to defeat feelings of hunger over a long period of time, so what we'd do instead is use knowledge and discipline to eat large, very filling, satiating quantities of the right foods at the right times so as to feel full and energetic and happy while also burning off fat with astonishing ease. (Oh, and while also getting stronger as well.) I wouldn't go so far as to say that PD's program is only for curious, brainy people. Anyone can follow his approach, which is simple enough to be written down on a single sheet of paper. That said, if you happen to be a curious, brainy person who really wants to understand things -- why certain foods make you fat, why certain approaches to exercise make you strong, etc. -- PD's program is especially helpful. Is the program inexpensive? Nope. Is it a great value if you take it seriously? In my view, absolutely. It costs a bit more, but has been more than worth it to me.
Simple easy to follow instructions on how to lose weight and get in shape. No guesswork or special equipment needed. PD helped me lose 40 lbs in 12 weeks before my 40th birthday. If you follow PD's plan, you WILL lose weight and get in shape in 12 weeks!
I very much enjoyed working with PD. He is straightforward and consistent. His goal is "to teach you how to fish" - work out on your own and modify your diet accordingly. I also preferred the set up of having him as a trainer on line and not in person. I have grown much stronger and learned quite a bit from PD. Highly recommend.
This program is a no-brainer for anyone who wants to build muscle and/or lose weight. Personally I was a little underweight, lacking muscle and carrying a gut. PD will show you that you do not have to spend hours and hours in the gym to look in great shape. One year later I am still following the program. I feel great, both physically and mentally. Family and friends often comment on how well I am looking. The key to this program is that is very managable and sustainable. PD was very prompt and helpful with any questions I had. The food plans are excellent - easy to prepare, varied, tasty and filling. I highly recommend this program to anyone that wants to look their very best.
