I don't know how to amend a previous review. I wanted to advise seekers of information to be aware Sidecar is affiliated with Quartile. I'm not sure how, or why. Seek info for both if you are looking for an SEO service. A great pay per click service wouldn't need a automatic renewable contract. If they do great, why would you leave? Automatic renewals is NEVER going to be an option for me. I would consider them one in the same since billing for getsidecar is coming from quartile.com emails.

One major issue, they use a manual CPC bidding strategy which requires daily monitoring. They promise they’ll be in your account daily adjusting bids, but they don’t. Another issue that this causes is that it lowers your optimization numbers in Google Ads which causes ads not to show as frequently. Ours showed 3 out of every 10 times our keywords were searched. They promise the world in their sales pitch, show you all the great numbers they’ll bring in. Once you sign, you’re in an initial 3 month agreement. You’ll probably see an increase of sales during those three months. After your account automatically renews for a 9 month agreement they no longer work on your account unless you are a huge account that is willing to spend lots of money. Once you call them out they deflect the blame, and tell you they’ll do better. However, at that point it’s too late. All in all, we lost thousands of dollars when switching to Sidecar. Our ROAS stayed the same or dropped when compared to how it was when I ran our own account.

It all started with a sales person telling me what I wanted to hear. I wanted 30 plus campaigns based on products being sold using the custom labels. Yes, they could do it. Then they did 2 or 3 campaigns telling me it would be better. We did get a lot of expensive clicks for products that sold under $10. No sales, just clicks. They said they needed more "time" so their program would work, so we blew past the 3 months and into a 9 month contract. Bottom line our sales have dropped off and we are going back to Logical Position with 3 months left on the Sidecar POS contract and it doesn't appear they want to let me out of it. Logical Position have broken down my Bing advertising into 36 campaigns and they charge much less. I am able to raise or lower budgets based on product lines. If you just want clicks, go for it. If you want to control your clicks and spend more on more expensive items and save on low priced items, avoid Sidecar.

Recently engaged this company for 2 Facebook and Instagram marketing trials. Both were failures, the second producing even worse returns (1.7 ROA). The marketing was a loss for the company. The results were so bad, the ads had to be turned off before the second trial ended. Sidecar still charged their fee though. Avoid this company.

I ordered from a local restaurant 5 miles away. Sidecar charged me Tax, service charge, delivery charge and tip for the driver. Which doubled the cost of my order. Sidecar never again! Charged me $5.20 per mile. Jesus that will buy 2 gallons of gas per mile? Fk these scammers

Will lie to you and make big promises but once they get your money you are screwed. Have never dealt with such dishonest, incompetent folks in this space. Just look at their Instagram @getsidecar. No posts in over 2 years, this is a dying company who will do anything to take your money and stay above water. We spend roughly half a million dollars on social media ads yearly, and trusted Sidecar to take us to a new level. Instead, we experienced all-time low results under their watch. Had we stayed with them, we would be out of business right now. Strongly strongly discourage anyone looking at ad agencies to look elsewhere. There are far better options. Do not make the same mistake we made.

Started working with Sidecar in August. They billed me $1000 for a set-up fee which consisted of generating a tiny PDF (6 pages) and building about 4 amazon campaigns and then also billed $900/mo for a 3 month contract. From the start the services provided were significantly below the quality we were led to expect during the sales process. they promised the use of automated tech solutions for bid adjustment and keyword optimization which were never implemented. We got an inexperienced account manager who knew less about advertising on Amazon than I did. He consistently could not explain the strategy being implemented and how they were managing our account in regards to campaign structure, keywords, bids, Negatives or really anything. We asked to speak to someone more knowledgeable on our account but they could not provide that person. They started a campaign with a budget equal to our entire current marketing spend and ran it with horrendous returns on investment which cost us a ton of money. At this point, we determined we would cancel our services with them. All of this took less than about 5 weeks. Now I was charged and continue to be charged even though they were canceled for cause and negligence. They are insisting they are owed the 3 months of contracted pay even though they could not deliver on their promises from day one.

Buyer beware. After being aggressively pursued by their sales team for months, I agreed to let their team take a crack at managing my Facebook and Instagram advertising for my growing e-commerce start-up. Within a matter of days, revenue started tanking and, at the end of the first month, it had dropped by nearly 50%. For a small business, that translated to a full-on crisis. Assurances were made that this was just a "bump" and things were poised to turn around. A couple more weeks and sales dried up further. After digging into the various campaigns, odd data, targeting and budget allocations were noticed by our team. This included typos in the creative, oddly high frequency for top-of-funnel campaigns, and, for a period of time, a higher budget allocation toward retargeting than top-of-funnel prospecting. All of these things were pointed out and excuses made. After 6 weeks, I attempted to walk away. In fact, I begged to walk away. Yet, their team did not have the integrity to let that happen. They held firm to having their 3-month term honored, and are intent on bleeding our company for service fees on top of the tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue resulting form their incompetence. Did I mentioned that my crack team of account support and digital marketing experts consisted of two recent college grads with less than a year of professional experience on their resume? By the time we blocked them from having access to our FB account, they had reiterated their belief that things were poised to "turn around," noting several changes they'd employ to address the poor performance. Every tactic was based on a clear brief that I supplied them with weeks earlier, prior to spending a single dollar. This included specifics on our audience, past performance on specific ad units, learnings on segmenting and lookalike audiences and more. None of these learnings were applied at launch and, instead, a rudimentary batch of campaigns were rolled out with no apparent rhyme or reason. Now, the recovery process will begin as we work to undue the harm caused by this company over the past 2 months.

I signed up with Sidecar thinking that my sales on Google Ads, will do better with Sidecar managing my account. But, in reality my sales Volume dropped by 80% as soon as Sidecar took over. Then, as soon as I saw that I cancelled my account with them within the time frame that I needed to. But, even with doing this Sidecar had the audacity to send me to collections for over $12,000. NEVER, sign up with them. NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH SIDECAR OR GETSIDECAR. They will come after you even after you cancel with them. This is predatory business practices, and I have already reported them to the Attorney General. I have spoken to few other companies that have worked with Sidecar who had the same experience as me and we are working to file a class action lawsuit against them.

They have a great sales team but they do not execute. Performance was excessively poor. Revenue: (-21% PoP) ROAS: 2.24 (-26% PoP) The account was a mess in general. I switched back to the other bidding I was using in the past. The target ROAS was way too low which is why the cost per acquisition was too high. Also in the search campaign there a million new keywords added.

They told me that their computer algorithms would make changes daily. Managing 20,000+ SKUs it made about 3 changes per day. ROAS dropped and they locked me in contract. Monthly calls to make manual updates stopped when I expressed my frustration

My short experience with this company was very bad. In my opinion, They know a little, (very little) about adwords, and nothing at all about online marketing for my site. After just three weeks live that took 6 weeks to setup my sales dropped 50% and they had nerve enough to tell me my sales were up 21%. they assigned a setup clerk to make changes to my product feed that I'm still trying to fix. and the first thing the sidecar person did was tell me she was quitting and moving to another company. I understand why. They simply do not understand the online marketing. I soon as I dumped them and fixed my adwords account my sales went right back to normal.

My company is not interested in their business and they keep harassing us. Even calling my personal phone when told to stop calling. Rude. Now, I would never give them a dime in my life.

Prepare to get sold on a ton of great performance then get stuck with an account manager that asks YOU what YOU want to do vs being proactive. That's the problem, you don't communicate with the actual people working on your account. They claim their tech does the work, but really they have paid analysts tweaking the knobs and set you up to have super low expectations. They suggested we lower our revenue goals to a fraction of what we did the previous year. Aren't they supposed to help us grow not to slow down and lose money?

Sidecar is absolute trash and operates with fraudulent billing practices. Notice that their recent positive reviews are written on the same day because they're fake!

Sidecar has helped our company get an extraordinary return on ad spend. Before Sidecar we were managing our ads in house, with little success. Now, we don't have to worry about managing ads, we just see results. I would recommend sidecar to anyone!
