Mar 11,2024Great surf coach to help master the “building blocks” from intermediate to advanced with a highly techinical / purist approach, yet with great analogies to easily implement (and remember) in the water. Very conscious now of what I need to do to progress, whether in the water or watching surf videos online!

Feb 06,2024As a birthday present, I received a surf coaching session with Pepijn (video analysis). The great experience already starts with Pepijn's communication and flexibility in planning. Next, at the beginning of the session, he makes you feel comfortable easily. Pepijn took to time to understand my goals, and provided continuous feedback during and after the session. Pepijn's passion for surfing is contagious, and his dedication to helping me improve was evident throughout. I highly recommend his coaching and look forward to future opportunities to learn from him.

Dec 26,2023I joined Pepeijn in Marocco and I have to say that has been one of best and most learning surf trip I had so far. Pepeijn has a lot of surf knowledge and he shares it in a really good way, the daily video analysis are an amazing tool to see, learn what to do and progress. The location in Marocco was also a good choice with not only nice waves but also nice food and like-minded people. I will definitely join his surf week again!

Dec 15,2023Joined Pepijn for a coaching week in Morocco 🇲🇦. Very good balance between fun and learning new skills on the surfboard 🏄. I would definitely recommend him if you want to make progress in surfing. Video Group analysis , 1-1 analysis and tips in the water. Great hostel with delicious food and nice vibes.

Dec 13,2023I've joined Pepijn for a surf coaching trip to Morocco, because I've felt quite stuck in my surf progression and have never really had feedback from anyone on how I could progress. The week has been an absolute blast for several reasons. Great weather, great waves, great food, great company, but best of all is that Pepijn is insanely knowledgable and explains things very clearly, with examples. We had video analysis sessions at the end of the day to see and discuss everyone's waves of that day, through which I've learned so much. Not only by seeing my own waves, also the tips for the others are so helpful for my own surfing. A week is definitely too short to put everything into practice right away, but I'm so so happy for everything I've learned. I will take this with me to work on in my next months of surfing. I am very keen to book another surf trip with Pepijn next year again. Can totally recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their surfing while having a great time!

Oct 28,2023Pepijn is a great coach. He coached me in August at a wavepool and he has a calm and clear way of explaining things. His video reviews are on point. By seeing yourself surfing and by adjusting just a few small things the next time you go in the water, your surfing will improve enormously, very fast. Especially at a wavepool. I will definitely do a few more surf coaching sessions with him soon!

Oct 25,2023I have been surfing for a while now and have improved a lot through the years. But at some point I felt I was not improving enough, simply because I wasn't sure what I was doing wrong. So, I started coaching with Pepijn. First I bought the Surf Acadamy Pro, where you can find a lot of theory, but you can also send him your video's. Pepijn really takes his time to analyse the whole video and explaines everything so well by drawing lines and comparing it to pro surfers. it helped me a lot to get started! Then after this I was also pretty stoked to do some video coaching with Pepijn. I did It now twice and absolutely loved it! It's a two hours session, with quite a lot water time where he takes video's of you. And then after every 20 minute, you get out of the water and then he explains what you did, how you can improve. What I really liked about is that he let you think first about what you could have done better. This makes it way more interactive! and within one coach session I was able to make a full Cutback turn. And many more things to improve on. So, I can definitely recommend to do some coaching sessions with him, work on your things and then get again some new coachingsessions. Thank you Pepijn!

Oct 19,2023I had surfed for a long time, but inconsistently and without much coaching and I felt like my progression had stopped leaving me frustrated. I booked a Maldives boat trip on which Pepijn was the coach and I was amazed at the improvement in my surfing over 10 days. With a combination of video analysis, in-water feedback and daily goals, Pep made improvement achievable, enjoyable and inevitable. He breaks down complicated manoeuvres into small steps that you can focus on while in the surf and makes sure you register the wins while on your journey of progression and stay motivated. I would definitely have coaching with him again - thanks Pepino!

Oct 17,2023I had the experience of doing a first of many coaching sessions with Pepijn. He knows a lot about surfing and especially competition surfing. He really listens to what you are saying and let you think about your own question first before he answers it. His didactic skills are really good. I love his approaching on surfing and his mindset and how you can take that to your daily life as well. He is really calm in his approach. Something other surf coaches don’t have. He knows way more than a regular surf instructor and can tell you everything about surfing. During the session I could feel that I was improving on my surfing and I could implement his tips and tricks directly into my surfing. If you want to improve on your surfing and especially competition surfing, or you just want to have a coaching session with him I would recommend Pepijn 10/10.

Oct 10,2023I had my first coaching trip with Pepijn in the Maldives and it was a great experience! I wanted to progress as an intermediate surfer and he asked for my goals which we definitely worked towards but also identified some bad habits which was hurting my progression and helped fix them. We not only progressed in the 10 days we were there but more importantly, he provided tools and confidence to allow me to improve as a surfer back at home and long term. I have definitely seen a change in my surfing and now have been catching a wider range of waves, including bigger waves that I initially would have been scared to paddle into. Thanks Pep!

Aug 09,2023I had a couple introduction lessons in France. After that I just surfed for a couple years. Recently I had a couple private lessons from Pepijn and learned so much more! It’s unbelievable. I would recommend it to all beginning surfers just take some lessons from Pepijn. The way of teaching from Pepijn is great. He is very friendly, relaxed and with his knowledge he knows how to explain it to you. He filmed me surfing and after about 20 minutes I would come out and he showed me the video. He pointed out where and what I could do different to improve my skills. About the turns I’ve made some great improvements thanks to Pepijn. I went from unconsciously incompetent to consciously incompetent and now working hard with all the tips to become competent and after even unconsciously competent! Thx Pepijn it was great 🤙🏻

His tips and tricks are exactly on point and what you're looking for when wanting to improve. I didn't realise I was stagnated in learning and now I have a clear goal again! Aug 02,2023Hele fijne surf coaching! Ik liep al een tijdje vast op een bepaald niveau en wilde graag meer leren. Ik heb nu 2 coaching sessies gehad en dit was een goede keuze. Het was echt top! Pepijn is erg toegankelijk en geeft hele nuttige tips waar je direct mee aan de slag kan. Ik vond het ook super gezellig omdat je in een klein groepje bent, waardoor je meteen enthousiaste surfers ontmoet van ongeveer hetzelfde niveau. Na deze sessies weet ik precies waar ik aan kan werken en ik kijk nu al uit naar de volgende sessie.

Dankzij de coachingsweken ben ik ook veel beter in staat zelfstandig verder te leren daarna. Super blij mee! Pepijn is een super goede, geduldige, empatische surf coach en bovenal een fijn mens!

Aug 01,2023It's always an eye opener to see yourself surfing and with the tips of pepijn it's an amazing combination if you want to improve! Pepijn gave some amazing tips and explained everything really nice and clear with great ''non-surf'' examples. After the session he also shared the footage and wrote a report with everything we have discussed during the session. I recommend it alot if you're serious about improving your surf skills :)

Pepijn provided with very pratical tips both during the session and afterwards. With the footage and analysis report, I now very well know what to work on in the coming months or years. 😁
