I started a 21 day course with Phoenix and the experience is unforgettable. The course was intensive and during the whole time we had the support of all the staff. When I started the course, I was unsure of myself, but as the days passed and with all the support of Phoenix, I managed to have an indescribable confidence. I highly recommend Phoenix because it is a leader in security.
The CPO course with Phoenix was a great experience. Really well taught, kept us on out toes throughout. Very professional teaching with high standards and expectations. Definately a steep learning curve.
Tutors have great knowledge in the industry, they are still active whilst teaching. Theory and Practical applications were met at a great standard. I found that the class room dynamics allowed students to build relationships swiftly in order to carry out the team operations. I have made great contacts which will assist me in the future.
Just finished the CPO course with Phoenix, excellent course, learnt a lot from the experienced staff, hope to work along side them soon, excellent professional company, well recommended.
What an experience the course is! The instructors Lee and John are unbelievably knowledgable. Do not go into it half hearted, it’s very intense yet enjoyable. An absolute quality course.
Informative and really good
Good CP course.
Avoid booking with phoenix at all cost Hi trustpilot, my name is Alfred I wrote a review on here few weeks ago and got taken down by you guys regarding phoenix rasing awareness of the scams they're committing on innocent people out there who wants to better there career and future, I was on the course 2rd to 17th this year and what I experienced there in phoenix is a sham even up on till now I have not received my results from the exams and all certificates I paid for. So pls can someone from phoenix tell us who are the awarding body for the internal and external exams they're conducting for students on the course and why they are making people pay to resit an exam or other part of the course. For example Me I was told while on the course that I failed surveillance and was charged £580 to come resit the surveillance after I paid £4000, after that they told me I failed internal exams try to get me to come sit for the exam with a charge of another £50, but on the SFJ and SIA website it's states there that u only need students portfolio, multiple choice exams and assignments to be qualified to apply for the licence. So I want to know who is saying the right thing. I really like to know who are the awarding body for the internal exam that phoenix are conducting but they have refused to tell me the only answer I got from Tom who is the operation manager, is that they are externally set but internally marked which makes zero sense to me as you should still be able to state the awarding body. I have numbers of students who are willing to come out to testify on there experience with phoenix, cause i don't see why you take money from 22 students at the end of the day only 2or 4 students passed and the others are being made to pay extra Money to resit exams or random course elements which we all know that there is no much jobs for a close protection officer out there if you cant find ur way in the industry so whoever is reading this should be aware not to fall a victim. #ukfraudalert #bbcwatchdog
I just spent 18 days upskilling with Phoenix Group who delivered the Level 3 Certificate for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security. The training, professional attitude and focus on ensuring that the competency level of all candidates was to the highest of industry standard was in my opinion world class. All the instructors were excellent and the lead Lee Brett really did push the Candidates but as a result of his leadership he created a team and from that we delivered on task. Very well done to all at Phoenix a great experience all round!
It was an intense course but worth every penny. Lee Brett is a great teacher. And made it much easier to understand.
Intense course well worth it the experience was eye opening
@karolina …. maybe that’s just just your partner being bitter as he was unable to pass the course…..
I had an unforgettable time conducting my CP course with Phoenix. I learnt a lot in a short amount of time with elite instructors. Phoenix changed my mindset in where I wanted my career to go. There was also a good rapport between the instructors and the students, this helps you learn better and feel comfortable approaching the instructors with any questions. Overall I would advise anyone looking to complete a CP course to consider Phoenix first. You also gain experience in tasters of other aspects such as driving etc.
The course itself wasn’t the problem, it was the way we were taught, it just felt like we got taught the bare minimum and expected to know the rest. Practice behind closed doors is needed before sending people out into Birmingham would make sense.
Really informative and enjoyable experience. Instructors all knowledgeable and approachable. Course layout is well structured and relevant to the skills you will require.
Very good and detailed course. Professional staff who had extensive knowledge in all departments.
I cannot state I would not be actively employed because they’ll report it - but I’ve been turned down from jobs as I trained with Phoenix, it’s a self employed/ word of mouth business. Can assure you it does not help your CV.
An intense course to get you to the required standard! Really enjoyed, it was not what I expected and would definitely recommend to others. Thank you Phoenix 👏
Really liked the course
