At first attracted by what appears to be a professional and well crafted website promising responsiveness and care. Experience wholly at odds with the veneer of the website. Agreed engagement. Was required to provide credit card details in advance over the phone before service being rendered (Red Flag 1). Received written appointment confirmation from Emma that the “Engineer: Paul” would “arriv[e] between 5 and 9pm”. No show (Red Flag 2). No explanation. No apology. No proactive customer care (Red Flag 3). Called for explanation the next morning. Took more than an hour to have a call returned. “Reception” had to leave a message for Emma. Emma was apparently not available. Ellen called and refused at first to confirm that she was Ellen Fraser-Cunningham, the director of the company (Red flag 4) and became irritable when I pointed out that Ellen Fraser-Cunningham was in fact listed as the only director of the company at Companies House and that I believed Ellen was in fact the named company director. She then confirmed that she was in fact the named director of the company (why the subterfuge? Red Flag 5). The company operates under a trading name Plumbing Care Services and is registered at Companies House as Reactive Plumbing Care Limited. The 2020 financial statements filed at Companies House indicates 2 employees and a balance sheet capital and reserves deficit of more than £11k as at 30 Nov 2020 (Red flag 6). When seeking an explanation for the non-appearance of the engineer despite the firm and unequivocal terms of the confirmatory email Ellen took umbrage and put down the phone (Red Flag 7). Clearly the behaviour of all three persons was manifestly inconsistent with the professed service promised by the otherwise alluring website. Emma’s email overstated the true position; The engineer didn’t pitch. Nobody bothered to follow up despite the inconvenience to a customer and clear breach of the terms under which the engagement was confirmed; and Ellen’s behaviour, as a director of the company, putting down the phone on a contracted customer seeking an explanation is the final straw. Tone comes from the top. Too many red flags. I won’t be back. That’s not the way to treat a customer.
I needed our boiler servicing along with other maintenance items, and British Gas seemed to be unable to honour appointments. I called Plumbing Care Services having found them on the Worcester Bosch website. They came within a week and did all the work I needed to get the system fully operational again in two visits. All the people we dealt with were knowledgeable and professional, kept us informed on progress and were honest about what was needed. I will continue to use them for routine and emergency plumbing work. First class!
A routine boiler service but done by Paul with his usual efficiency and helpful comments. Always very pleased with your work, from installation onwards.
Water and heating boiler packed up on a Cold January Sunday. Found Plumber Care Services on the internet and called them at 9pm! Engineer ( Paul) was here Monday and diagnosed severe problems!! Quoted for new Worcester Bosch boiler which I accepted and had one installed by Connor on Tuesday by 1 pm! Fantastic response and a very happy customer

Had a new boiler installed as the old one had finally given up the ghost. Ellen and Emma kept me updated constantly on times and costs. The guys came round, followed Covid protocols and did a great job. Completed in a few hours and no mess! Thanks to Paul and Conner!
Really cannot speak highly enough of Plumbing Care Services. We had a very old Baxi boiler that died on us and PCS came out the next day to look at it, giving an honest evaluation of the problem. They then fitted a brand new combi that same week and were very clean, courteous and quick. Highly recommended for emergency work. Very reasonably priced too. Thankyou!

Amazing first service on my boiler, Ellen arranged convenient appointment and I particularly liked the fact I did not have to hang around as she assured me the engineer would call when on route and I was able to book a morning or afternoon slot so no need to wait all day. The engineer called to say on route and was very friendly and efficient. The price was not the cheapest or the most expensive but very fair for the high level of service. I would definitely recommend this company.
I highly recommend Pluming Care Services! Paul came out the same day I called to take a look at our old boiler and said we needed a new one which was then sorted the same week by two guys who were both very good, they were able to get a 2 day job done within 6/7 hours!

I called to this company in Saturday morning. After describing the problem with my boiler they said will call me back to arrange a visit. They never called back.
Had to ring back a few times to confirm the booking. Other than that, the plumber was fantastic. We didn't know the location of where we could turn off the water as we live in a block of flats. They took the time to help us look for it whilst being so patient. Quick and easy afterwards! Would use their services again.

Overall I feel the whole team is very trust worthy and reliable.
My boiler sprang a leak a few days before I was booked in for major surgery. I was let down by one local plumber, but PCS came out and sorted things out at a very reasonable cost. The plumber was VERY knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. I would definitely use again!
Excellent service at a good price I really felt like my boiler was in good hands. The service was quick and efficient and the engineer was really helpful turning my heating up for me!
